This is an excellent Wagamama and we have been to a few as well love the food. Friendly and fast service even though they were busy. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is super convenient if you are staying at the city centre Premier inn. I just wish they did breakfast too.

I am a big fan but it was difficult to get anyone's attention if you would like more drinks or dessert. We left without either.

Disappointed by the food and taste and the bigger problem, they claimed that the bill was not paid and asked for another payment despite getting a receipt online, not respectful at all to do that.

I have noticed that the quality of the food has been deteriorating over time. I had the chicken Katsu Curry, the sauce was bland and the chicken tasted a little bit of fish. It was edible and it did satisfied me enough to keep eating it, but I do not think that I will order a Wagamama delivery again. If the food is not freshly cooked, it is obvious.

The restaurant was exceptionally busy, with patrons having to wait in line for some time before being seated. While the staff is generally polite and attentive, they seemed overwhelmed by the workload, making their service feel somewhat robotic. In my opinion, the food presentation was relatively appealing; however, the dishes were overly salty. Additionally, the meat portions were sliced very thinly, giving the impression of a more generous serving than what was actually provided. This left little substance to truly savor. If these aspects were improved, I would certainly be inclined to visit more frequently.

I ordered some very spicy meals to which I really enjoyed. Service was really good. Tables were clean and so was the rest of the restaurant. There were loads of 18 to 30s dining there. Being a bit older this could have been uncomfortable for me. But I enjoyed. The canned Apple cider they serve didn't have much flavour. The staff again were young and I didn't see anyone over the age of 30 serving, but again they were great, very polite. Must say overall it was a nice relaxing meal.

I went to the Wagamama Swansea tonight and had a great experience. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff and food were excellent. Highly recommend, especially on a chilly night in October!

Been here many times and had a great experience every time. Staff are very attentive and food is top quality. Would definitely recommend, personal favourite is the chilli squid.

My other half and I visited this restaurant on our first date night after the birth of our first child. I called earlier in the week and asked if I could book a table, to which the waiter said they don't take bookings. We'd booked a movie at 7pm, and we walked in there at 5:45pm. We walked in and we were approached right away, seated and given menus. The menu had a decent amount of veggie and vegan options so there is something for everyone. The waitress came back within 5 or so minutes, and took a drink order and our meal order. My other half ordered the "kare burosu ramen" and I ordered the "tantanmen beef ramen". Since we've heard of "bao buns" but have never had them before, we decided to order them with our mains so we could try them together. The waitress said "We'll bring the food out, I'll give you a table number and when you're done, scan this QR code and pay with your phone when you're ready to leave." I think this system is really brilliant and it's something more restaurants should look at adopting. Our drinks were out in minutes with small glasses and ice. The restaurant was moderately full, with great ambiance and a really interesting seating layout. I loved the decor and feel in the place, different from most restaurants and that's why I liked it. After about 10 mins of us chatting, her food came out. Her meal is the one with chillis on top in the photo. It came out at 6:03pm (I only know because that's the time the photo was taken). She waited a minute or two to start eating while we waited for my food to come out too. I politely said "Nah, don't worry about my meal" so she tried her food. She thought it was a bit spicy but a good meal that she would order again next time we visited. We waited for my meal. Then we waited more. 10 mins went by, and I was starting to wonder if they had forgotten about me. Then a waitress came over and said "The chef says sorry your meal is taking a while, it should be out soon." I was getting anxious since we had a movie to get to for 7pm. At 6:19, about 15 mins later, a waitress showed up with my meal. I was not happy, but politely thanked her for bringing it, and asked if the Bao Buns were on the way. She said "Yes, of course." I started my meal, and it was great. Not worth the 15 mins of me watching my other half eating without me, but it was a great ramen meal, with tender beef and the right amount of spice. We waited another three minutes for the Bao Buns, meaning we waited for 19mins since the first meal came out to have a full table of food. Nowhere else would a wait this long be accepted. I was very disappointed with the wait, which makes me weary about returning. My partner had pretty much finished her meal as the Bao Buns arrived, but since I had to pretty much rush my meal, we got the nice moment of trying the Bao Buns together. They were very fluffy, I enjoyed them, but my other half said she could take them or leave them. Not sure if I'll go back. If I do, I'll make sure to make a point of asking if we can get both meals brought out together.

Food was brilliant. 1 issue! So some kids come in asking for sponsor money for a event. I gave them some money. After this one of the staff come over and asked had we given money as they come in all the time and it's a con. I only ask if this happens often that staff should make you aware when you come in and should be on the ball to remove them from the restaurant.

This branch of Wagamama is handy for trips to the Waterfront museum as it’s a short walk away. I much prefer this branch to the Wagamama in central Cardiff, which feels like dining in a green house. The food here was really good. Staff asked about allergies and they were considerate in bringing out our children’s food to them first. They also have baby changing on the ground floor, which is handy.

Took my family to eat @ Wagamama's. Service was quick and very friendly. If I come to Swansea again, this will be my first choice. Was served by Maddie who was wonderful and polite.

Pretty decent. You know what to expect of a larger chain like this now. Dishes are well presented, the all read well on the menu and are always slightly under delivered in the product. It's in a good location, it's always busy, the staff are some of the better serving staff in Swansea. Worth a visit. I'd give it 3.5 but it won't allow that, 4 star for food is too much though.

My katsu curry was gross. Felt undercooked or something. Just took away from my appetite, not my hunger, every bite was making me feel more and more uneasy. Left most of it on the plate and bought quavers from a vending machine on the way home because I was still hungry. My partner loved their meal though.

It's fine. You know what you're getting with a wagamama, staff are nice and service is quick, food is reliably tasty.

Service Amazing, Food Amazing clean restaurant and kids friendly been to many Wagamamas but this one is the first I felt deserved a review as definetly best to all I have been so far!

Perfect. We asked to move to a different table which was accommodated. Even though they were busy, they didn't rush us. Angharad, our server was really helpful and explained things well.

Ordered a takeaway, the online order was simple, gave a collection time and the food was ready bang on time. Once home we opened the well designed reusable food containers, used the chopsticks, including Childs set, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Having ordered a child’s meal there was also a children’s colouring in sheet. Not only was this our first takeaway it was our first meal from Wagamama but it will not be our last, in fact my daughter wants to go for her birthday, so we will

The service was incredible! Unfortunately I didn’t get our waiters name but he was amazing! (It was Thursday mid afternoon!) the food was super tasty and as a vegetarian I had lots of choice!

Blown away by the service & knowledge. My partner has a serious nut allergy and as such we do need to feel in safe hands eating out. We decided to give Wagamama a go based on recommendations and we were not disappointed. As soon as we stepped through the door we were greeted warmly by the manager and asked if we had any allergies. After this we were given what I can only describe as the best run through of the menu and allergy policy we have ever received. Sadly I cannot recall the name of the manager who served us, but he was superb. I would highly recommend this establishment for the allergy policy, quality of food and most certainly the staff employed. Everyone was amazing and personable. 10/10 would recommend 👍🏼

We went to Wagamama's Swansea on Saturday 13/07 and it was wonderful! The food was as good as ever, but the thing that made it that much better was the service. All of the waitstaff were so helpful and attentive, it really made our visit great! The waitress for our table Emily/Millie/Amelie (annoyingly forgot her name but remember her badge had she/they pronouns if that helps!) was so lovely and made nice conversation with us which again made our night special! No complaints here, would definitely go again in a heartbeat!

Never…EVER ordering from this Wagamama again. My 3 year old could have cooked better with dirt from the garden. How on earth you can “cook” such inedible, tasteless, disgusting muck is beyond me. For an extortionate price as well. Literally hideous. The worst food I’ve eaten in a LONG time. Noodles…mush. Bland. No Mushrooms in the “Mushroom Tepanyaki”. Panko rolls, soggy, yet burnt simultaneously. Kimchi/Beef Gyoza…tasted and smelled weird. Takoyaki…deep fried balls of batter. No octopus. All cold, tasteless and extortionate. The seagulls ate well though. Appalling. Zero stars.

The food is really good. The service from staff can be a bit mixed; some absolutely lovely and some not so enthusiastic. Staff are mostly friendly but I would say that they need to be looking around in case anyone needs extra drinks. You could be waiting a while otherwise. It's also very cold in there. You need to wrap up warm as it's like a fridge in there. Otherwise the food is always very nice.

Waited 15 to 20 minutes and no-one came to ask us whether we wanted drinks let alone food. We weren't the first in line either. Terrible. Worst wagamama I've ever been to. Shame as I and my family were really looking for to it as we have had exceptional experiences with the chain elsewhere.

Been wanting to try this place for a while due to the glowing reviews and although the cost is a little the quality and both quantity of the food makes up for it. We weren’t impressed by the service today, it took a long time for us to be sat and then longer for us to be served. Once we were served, our order was wrong in multiple different ways. Although the manager was quick to fix the situation, it was quite a poor meal

What a great place!! Took my daughter today and everything was spot on! We recieved friendly warm welcome and were seated with menus. Drink ordered were taken promptly. We ordered 2 starters, a kids meal and adult Teppanyki. As per Wagamamas (we were told when seated) food comes out when it's ready which I find a bit weird as meant my daughter ate before I did....however there wasn't a particualry long wait before the 4 food items being brought out so although unusual to me it definitely didn't spoil it. All the food we ate was clearly freshly cooked, decent portions, hot and super super tasty!! It's our first experience here but and I can definitely say we'll be back! Great service, great food!

Wow! Now, this is a decent Wagamama. It's 8 pm, and thankfully, all the early crowd have disappeared . It's a little bit more personal with tables and booths instead of exposed benches. Strangely quiet, but after the din in the last pub watching the Welsh rugby team it was bliss. Excellent food, a couple of free green teas and good service.

Basically we get to the world of contemporary fusion of Asian cuisines with most of Japanese influence 🎎🎌 We decided to take just to different classical Ramens 🍜 (with beef and chicken) together with fancy cocktails as a nice starters/appetizers 🍹 and portion of theirs own ice creams 🍧 for dessert on this warm June time. Cocktails have been some really amazing experience and ramens were delicious too. But we have to admit that you have to remember - this is FUSION cuisine so some of dishes and treats gonna be far away of your visions and expectations with some different toppings or looking a bit differently. Good to know that before visiting the restaurant. Ice creams - cherry brownie 🍒 - were fine/good. Enjoyable but nothing mind-blowing. Professional and super+friendly service but the way as they working (6 different people swapping around) was a bit awkward. In conclusion, This is really fantastic place to start your adventure with Asian cuisines when you never tasted before or to try something new if you are familiar with those flavours. We leave the restaurant very surprised and amazed! For sure that wasn't our last experience 💖 2️⃣ Second visit after nearly two years! ...and tell you what! THEY STILL DELIVER! 💪💪 This time we went with 🍜 amazing full of flavours Hotpots 🌶️😋and Green Teas 🍵(🆓 of Charge! 😲). Ordered the beef brisket ramen, a little too much spice. But overall quite a decent bowl of ramen. The pork and apple panko bao was OK. Banana dessert somewhat made up for the performance of the bao. Also ordered a side of bbq gyozas but ate them before i got a chance to take a photo. Servers were very friendly and attentive, only comment would be the wait to get a table. Felt like the whole of Swansea decided to go to Wagamama's on a Wednesday evening. For a meal of 2 sides, 1 main, hot drink and dessert, works out roughly to £40

I love the food here. It's a perfect place to go for a treat. Every time I go here, it is always busy. I find the food worth the busyness.

First time in any Wagamamas and totally sold on the quality of the food! Super delicious and fast! One slight delay was on getting a second round of drinks. We had to follow it up as they weren't arriving. Other than that - yum! Just yum!

This place is my fave. The staff are always welcoming & attentive. The food is always what you expect, being a chain restaurant. Parking is best on the Strand or in the Sail Bridge carpark

Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Probably one of the best high street chains that caters to these different dietary preferences

I love wagamama so it was nice to finally get one in Swansea. The food wasn't great. The katsu sauce tasted burnt like from the bottom of a pan and the eggs on the noodles were overcooked and hard. I'll stick with bridgend as my go to wagamama.

We attended wagamama Swansea Monday afternoon. It was a impulse visit which was a great decision as it turned out.we were greeted warmly and shown to a lovely booth. The lady was very smartly dressed,polite and courteous. We were given menus and give our drinks order and as we were new to the restaurant was shown what was there. Great choice of food ,we both went for chicken skewers, awesomely delicious, and a steak on top of spicy noodles, (sorry can't remember the proper names lol) who cares it was delicious, hot and spicy food, steak med rare.wife had a cocktail mojito lovely. The ladies name was toni I think. It was spotlessly clean, tidy and well run. All staff busy tidying. Awesome service, great food and a great decision to eat there. We will be going back v soon. Always love this place for wonderful food, yet can Waiting staff please stop addressing customers as "you guys" this is a restaurant in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 /UK 🇬🇧 not USA 🇺🇸 and we are not American 🇺🇸 🛑. I find this N. American greeting really annoying! And irritating as I have not offered my permission to be referred to as a "guy". Be polite and use British English please or even Welsh, stop Americanising our culture... 🙄 Just say "you" on its own when addressing customers

Overcharged us and service was slow, staff weren’t friendly. Won’t be coming back really disappointed as I used to love love Wagamamas as an occasional treat. 😡

I had dinner at this location several times during my trip. I’ve been to many Wagamama in the UK. On 9/23, I had the great pleasure of having Josh as my server. He was awesome! I took my mother for the first time and he recommended some great dishes that we very much enjoyed. For the rest of the trip all she wanted to do was eat at Wagamama. My experience at this Location was great from start to finish. And the prompt service provided by Josh and his knowledge of the menu would put any newcomer at ease. If you’re in the Swansea City area, check out this restaurant and ask for Josh!!

Average food (as expected though, it’s Wagamama). Service was good BUT a staff told us (on Wednesday 30/08 11:30) we could bring a homemade birthday cake as long as it does contain nuts. This evening, the manager refused we have the cake. Wagamama need to get their things together. It was very poorly handled by the manager in function (sun 03/08 18:00).

Can be noisy, and busy, but that is part of vibe. food and service are great, Seem to cater for everyone, young, old, couples, groups and families. Big bonus they cater for allergies.

Over rated and over priced, my 12 year old could have made better at home and was hungry an hour later. Waiting ages to be seated as tables had not been cleaned. Service was rushed and was quite poor. Will not be visiting again. Was a waste of time and money.

Had a really lovely lunch with my stepdaughter and her husband on Saturday, good atmosphere and very helpful friendly staff. It's not cheap but it's worth. The only thing I'd complain about is the coffee, my husband paid £3.20 for a cappuccino and it was lukewarm and literally a mouthful.

The food is delicious and I really appreciate the effort that Eve the waitress took. I'd recommend this to anyone, particularly vegans as there are plenty of options.
