I would give 4* but the frangipane I had wasn't... It was a soft sponge. Also, a personal gripe is that I like a handle on my mug for coffee.

Great little find while out Christmas shopping. Immediately welcomed by the barmaid/waitress into a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had an excellent breakfast which was very reasonably priced but the star of this little bar is its staff! She was so warm, friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return!

The lotus biscoff milkshake was absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible, nicest milkshake I’ve ever had. Very friendly staff too and wonderful atmosphere.

Came for a quick breakfast before a busy day of shopping and sightseeing. Staff friendly, service quick, coffee and food high quality. The cafe is very clean. Lots of seating. Will be back.

Close to the local petrol station where we re-filled, and decided that the van crew needed refuelling too! A welcoming and calm interior, with friendly service, very nice coffees and very tasty soup/panini and a panini only to enjoy. Recommended for those transmitting through Lochinver as I guess the local folk will already appreciate this very nice cafe.

We visited this lovely cafe for the first time today, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The coffee and brunch were first class, and we were served by a very polite and engaging young one called Note. We will be back

My new favourite local! I’ve been visiting many locally owned coffee shops in Aberdeen and I have finally found my go-to. Not only is the coffee amazing (whilst being reasonably priced), the owner is by far the most welcoming and hospitable person I have ever met! Too top it all off it doesn’t close at 5/6 like most coffee shops in town.

I stayed for one night only - having heard about this place, and pounced on the single slot when I saw it. It's worth the drive up from Glasgow and ferry from Mallaig to get here even for one night: my room was spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with a seating area with a view of the amazing beach. The owner Sue is a warm, charming host and an absolutely amazing cook, providing a fantastic three-course dinner while sloshing wine into glasses and encouraging guests and other diners to relax and interact. Breakfast is awesome, as the Americans say. I hired a bike and sweated up (then down) the hill to get here, but don't be put off by that - the island taxi/minibus is always on-hand, and they do excellent tea and cakes at their base nearly next door - but that's another story.

Very friendly owner, great service and delicious (fresh) home baking. It’s the kind of place you can go by yourself but wouldn’t feel alone…….thanks for all the effort you put in to running a clean welcoming place to visit. Kenny and I thoroughly enjoyed our (carry out) sandwich and cakes yesterday …….thanks again!
