My new favourite local! I’ve been visiting many locally owned coffee shops in Aberdeen and I have finally found my go-to. Not only is the coffee amazing (whilst being reasonably priced), the owner is by far the most welcoming and hospitable person I have ever met! Too top it all off it doesn’t close at 5/6 like most coffee shops in town.

Went to Turquoise for the second time today, and again I'm amazed at how warm and friendly the atmosphere is, and what good food they serve. The coffee is always piping hot, the service is excellent, the food delicious, and the decor is lovely. Seriously it's easy to forget you're in Aberdeen where most cafes are sadly lacking any atmosphere or are part of a big chain, or relying on some sort of gimmick. I highly recommend the Turkish breakfast, although else I saw served looked pretty tempting and I'm looking for excuses to go back and try it. Highly recommended.

My sister and I popped in for a tea and a crepe and pancake,they were delicious. The owner was such a lovely woman,so welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Been here a number of times now and always found it to be excellent. Rachan, makes you so welcome and gives an authentic Turkish eating experience. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely reminder of past travels. A mix of vegitarian or carnivorous mains are complemented by beatiful sweet and savoury pastries in addition to delicious deserts or shakes. Popular Turkish cafe which we visited recently. Nice options for breakfast but they are also quite flexible and have a good variety of non dairy milk and have gluten free bread available. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the flatbread.

Not only a very warm and friendly welcome, but a fantastic breakfast and the best coffee in Aberdeen. If you like good, fresh food in a relaxed atmosphere, then don't hesitate. I highly recommend breakfast.

Excellent food and very friendly staff, you always get a warm welcome. The breakfasts, Turkish tea and coffee makes the visit here an utter delight the food is delicious, the sweet counter with amazing cakes and baklava etc are the best I have seen and tasted. Look forward to returning!

If you want to bring back great memories of Turkey, its people and its food...this is the place to go. We travel in from rural Aberdeenshire just for the breakfast and the welcome. Rasha is always there with the warmest of welcomes. The food is always of the highest standard and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The cafe is situated in a great position in Aberdeen for easy acces for those of us with bus passes and the windows face east so when the sun does shine it makes this cafe a very special place to be. WE look forward to our next visit...

A lovely place with an amazing team will great and welcome you as you are their family. Three of us had a lovely late breakfast, more of branch to be precise, after a long walk. The food is good with generous portions, Turkish coffee is strong and aromatic. A new egg based dish was introduced to us (apologies! I did not catch the name of the dish!) it was utterly delicious, so I am looking forward to come back and hopefully find it on the menu. The place is light and airy with warm vibes, perfect little gem in the city crown. Thank you very much!

I visited with my mum and we both had waffles and tea, it was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The waffles came quickly and were made perfectly. The atmosphere of the cafe was cute and cosy, perfect for a mate date, family or couples. I will definitely be returning because their lemon cheesecake and traditional Turkish treats look amazing. Me and my dad came for breakfast this morning and we absolutely loved the cafe. Super friendly staff - we felt very welcome and well taken care of. The cafe is bright and spacious, and is a really nice environment to sit in. We both got breakfast, I had the veggie option which had really nice olives and cheese with spinach pastry, and my dad had a meat option with sausage and egg. Everything was super fresh, and very reasonably priced - the coffee and tea was included in the price of the breakfast which was a nice surprise! I would definitely recommend trying this lovely spot. They had a wide selection of sweet things too, like cakes and pancakes, crepes and waffles. Delightful wee cafe!

Lovely place to eat. The staff are really friendly. The welcome is always very warm. Its like old friends. Have had several breakfasts and a lunch. Always a lovely experience. Highly recommended. The cakes are beautiful.

Have been a couple of times for takeaway cakes, all of which are fantastic. The woman who i presume is the owner went though cake by cake with a perfect description. Went this morning for a full breakfast. OMG a definite go and try it. Wasn't sure about pepperoni and hummus but its absolutely lovely. It was a perfect amount to eat. Comes with toast and a hot drink of choice. Staff in this cafe are lovely. Always smiling. Very attentive. Very knowledgeable about what they serve. This cafe i would highly recommend. Just go and try it. You will mot be disappointed

Fantastic Turkish breakfast with even better service. Our food and coffee was delicious and we even picked up some pastries to take home with us. All of the staff were very attentive and we were served with a smile. We will definitely be back!

A superb, smiley welcome. A very cool, tastefully decorated cafe. Very helpful service and with pleasant gentle music playing in the background. My Turkish coffee was superb, rich, flavourful and top quality. Ate cheese filled pastry “rolls” (a serving of 4) that went very well with the coffee. Toilet very sparkling clean. An excellent cafe experience.
