The best restaurants in Scotland

Beautiful setting & grounds are lovely. Unfortunately found the food over priced & disappointing. We had the Cullen skink soup & toasties,which I have to say was disappointing.

Nice food, served by nice staff in a very busy garden centre cafe. We had the special of Cheese and tomato quiche with salad and chunky bread. A wee bit of a wait, but they were busy. The food was very tasty, but the quiche should have been described as mini quiche or a cheese n onion tartlet. We did mention it when paying, stating the food was lovely, and were told our comment would be passed to the chef. We will return as it is normally very good.

THE BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had. Okonomiyaki on the menu which I’ve not seen on menus anywhere outside of Japan so far. They do huge pizzas too which look delicious. Fun and relaxed place to hang out. Good and drinks CHEAP drinks menu. Really interesting looking cocktails I’ve not seen before. I’m looking forwards to coming back. Every so often I like to treat myself to a little meal on my own. Nice to sit in the corner watching Naruto. I noticed families eating there as well as some other solo customers who sat at the bar, the staff were all cheerful and friendly without exception. Seems like a cool place to hang. The vibes were immaculate. They also cater to veggies. I’ve been searching high and low for a Japanese/chicken place. Really authentic food, lovely atmosphere, huge portions and unbelievably good prices. It’s well worth the minuscule 2 minute walk away from the main drag where the restaurants are all either over priced and/or quite shoddy. I popped in today with my little girl. I was met by three very happy, polite and welcoming staff. I was looking for a hot chocolate for my Little one, they made sure it was not over filled so I could add as much cold milk as needed for her to enjoy. I had a cappuccino which was great too. Lovely place and will definitely be back again.

We had big breakfasts and macaroni cheese and chips. Food was lovely, very tasty. Barry the owner was great too. Highly recommend. We will be in again.

Outstanding food and service. The staff couldn't of been more helpful! The food was that good I've been back 3 times ans share it on Facebook, daily, definitely worth the try as I walked past it so many times and now I regret not eating it for longer than I have lol

2 night stay at The Dunning Hotel. Food - Fantastic, generous portion size, reasonably priced. Pub is warm with the fire roaring and the decor is cute. WOW, this chef knows how to cook! Absolutely delicious. Accommodation - Comfortable bed, warm, clean and has Tea/Coffee making facilities in room. Very cosy feel to the room and surprisingly quiet given rooms are above the pub. Staff - Super friendly staff always willing to offer suggestions on sites to see in the area and making sure you have everything you need for your stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to stay here when visiting Dunning or even Perth. Locals make you feel welcome and will happily sit and chat for as little or as long as you want. Thank you to all The Dunning Hotel staff for making it an unforgettable stay!

Beautiful place, nice atmosphere and best cakes! Really good food selection. I definitely recommend this place. I’m looking forward to try more things from menu :)

The BEST scones I've ever tasted, full of fruit. Great coffee and the breakfast is fantastic. Staff very pleasant, service quick. I could go on and on. Wonderful place to eat and very reasonably priced.

The best place in the West of Scotland. Staff so helpful and well mannered. Donuts are amazing. Baked potato and cheese is lovey too.

Colin and Maggie are so welcoming at the Station Hotel. There is a great atmosphere in the place and it is very busy, the hub of the village. We had an evening meal which was excellent. Great choice on the menu, huge portions and everything came out piping hot. Great value for money too. Highly recommend and only wish it was in my hometown.

Bonnie wee cafe based in Stirling city centre with cosy decor, homely feel and Wifi. Service was quick, friendly and cheerful ! Only popped in for takeaway coffee and cakes today (Bourbon Brownie and Cinnamon Bun) for the hike up Ben Mieke. But I will definitely be back for brunch and pancakes another day (because I saw someone eating the banana pancake stack and it looked incredible!) Both cakes were absolutely delicious; the cinnamon bun was particularly tasty! And trust me as a coffee snob, I can definitely approve the divine Oat Latte ! Worth the visit and will definitely return again for more sweet treats and coffee in future.
