Alaa's Takeaway in Glasgow City

I had a catch up with a friend over a weekend in March - we sat outside over and the atmosphere was nice. The food was tasty and the staff was extremely helpful (we were served by Victoria, who was very attentive and timely).

The staff made me a delicious bespoke custom Sundae with chocolate fudge gelato replaced by whipped cream, my brother in law said it was strangely addictive, and we all agreed. The staff were all too happy to oblige and the moon was high. We have just finished and we feel satiated, food-wise. 🆗🪱 No one mourns the menu. Treatz is a knock off Creamz. Creams ftw.

Booked a table for west end restaurant as a change from our usual at St Vincent street. Was my wife’s birthday and we do enjoy the tapas and cocktails at Cafe Andaluz. Food was great as always. Staff were okay but not as good as other restaurant. One issue was after our tapas and drinks we declined the offer for dessert due to being full. Hoping to order another drink we were then given the bill without asking. This was only 45 minutes into our table reservation. Bit of a negative end feeling like being forced out the door. Looks like we will be going back to our preferred restaurant at St Vincent street in future.
