This is a fabby cafe in Embo next to Park Dean. Lovely breakfast and coffee. The choice of breakfast eggs limited to scrambled but by gum, so tasty and near bright orange so I assume eggs VERY local! Happily go back as place is just gorg and food obviously from near by including cakes. See you soon xxx ps cafe inside is dog friendly

A surprisingly modern cafe in an old school building. Nice large room with windows looking out across the caravan park to the sea. Modern kitchen and very clean toilets. Food was very good and coffee was great. Friendly helpful service.

Wonderful cafe with the best tea, coffee, bacon rolls, soup, sanwiches...the list goes on. Gluten free and vegan options are there too! So worth a visit when in the area.

This place was one of our favourite holiday ‘finds’ after meandering along the long, beautiful road from Glenelg, not knowing what was at the end (our favourite past time). That was 8 years ago and we discovered the best home-made salmon quiche I’ve ever tasted set in tiny area of eclectic seating with the local fauna sitting at your feet, all set with a stunning backdrop. Everything about it felt home-made in its genuine sense- like a reward for travellers rather than a cafe. We felt we’d found the world’s best kept secret.. So we returned. All just as beautiful and the food just as delicious, just with a place to sit inside if the clouds let go. So glad Sheena’s is going strong.

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.
