Upmarket restaurant in a small country village serving a delicious, good quality range of food. We enjoyed Saturday night dinner at this restaurant and I was particularly impressed when the days special was Ox Cheek. It did not disappoint! I enjoyed a melt-in-the-mouth beautifully prepared dish and was toiling to finish it all. Thankfully we'd shared bruschetta to start...the portion was more than enough for two and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend 119 and will most definitely be back.

We had a lovely dinner here. Lovely atmosphere, great food, yummy cocktails, super helpful staff and brilliant prices. What's not to love? We will definitely be back.

5 adults (and a sleepy baby) visited on Saturday afternoon - fabulous service - food amazing and a lovely wee touch giving the wee one some ice cream and strawberries! What a find - will definitely be back

Had lunch here today with my daughter.I travelled from Galashiels and so glad I did highly recommend this gem ,staff so warm and friendly, chef is amazing.

Food was exceptional, my mum goes here regularly with her walking group and suggested we went, absolutely fantastic, service was fantastic and food excellent. Would definitely recommend.

14 High Street, Lasswade EH18 1ND ScotlandThe food is the headline -Carbonara and Salted Caramel Cake was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bonnie modern looking restaurant with a lot to like. I think I prefer the food here to Gigi's. The lad at the door was about as welcoming as a hole in lifeboat but everyone else was excellent. I would recommend this place

124 High StreetNothing 'authentic'. Very sad. Ordered spaghetti bolonese as a childhood treat. Tasted like it was from a tin.. I did, at least, get that childhood experience. Insulting to true Italian cooking. Sorry But that's the truth on this occasion.
