You cant swing a cat in there its that busy but can see why as the coffee was really good Def worth queuing and the sweet treats look great too

Not my first time having Tantrum Doughnuts, some are bigger hits than others, but felt compelled to write a review after trying one of their specials today - the Leia Bun. MAKE IT PERMANENT!!!!! Tried many doughnuts from here and this is the best one yet. Better than all the originals. I would eat this every day if I could. Absolutely gutted to have tried in on the last day. Other doughnuts have been a bit of a hit or miss for me, sometimes a bit dry. I find the filled doughnuts aren’t as dry, perhaps a different type of dough? Service was also great today too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Please keep the Laia Bun on the menu!!

Me and my partner were visiting the area from North Yorkshire for the week, we struggled to find some good local pubs which had a menu that popped out and that welcomed our furry friend! After discovering the Pitcairngreen inn, we were pleasantly surprised, upon first glance the pub looks a touch deserted from the exterior; but we put this down to the gloomy day and damp weather. After walking through the door we were greeted by a lovely young man who was more than happy to assist us and get us seated at a table and give us some time to review the food and drink choices. The food, what can I say other than superb! We were both flabbergasted as the quality of the food, we ordered the Nachos to share as a starter; accompanied with cheese and fried chicken, and what a treat, all homemade by the looks of things, the portion size was large but it was devoured nevertheless! To follow for main, we enjoyed a steak and ale pie and a Sirloin steak, cooked medium to rare. And I can comfortably say, it was cooked to perfection and accompanied by the best homemade Parmesan chips for the steak and homemade fries for the pie. To finish we devoured the homemade fudge sundae, topped with homemade ice cream and hand whipped cream! Perfect presentation! I finished off with a dark chocolate cheesecake accompanied again by their very own homemade vanilla ice cream! To top it all off, a very pleasant experience and service received from the staff on a whole. Special compliments to the young gentleman behind the bar whom served us this evening and the chef(s) who prepared such mouthwatering courses. Tim, Becki & Betty!

Great Bar / Restaurant Campsite. Tucked away and surrounded by farms. The steaks looked awesome and the staff, locals and visitors were friendly. Good spot for a solo traveller.

Este restaurante en Marchmont de Edimburgo es un maravilloso restaurante local. En mi puerta para una comida maravillosa. La calidad de este restaurante es excelente y sirve comida local. El servicio es genial y a veces el propietario viene y siempre está interesado en charlar con los clientes. De vez en cuando el Rabbit Hole sirve mis caracoles favoritos en mantequilla de ajo y estaban en el menú en esta visita. No defraudaron, delicioso. Seguí con moules frite y los mejillones se cocinaron a la perfección. No puedo alabar este restaurante lo suficientemente alto. Bien hecho Mo y su excelente equipo.

So glad we discovered this beautiful place during our business trip! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fabulous. The service was outstanding—friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable throughout. We can be tricky customers—one vegetarian, one pescatarian—so it’s not always easy to find a place that satisfies us both, but this one exceeded our expectations. I’m already looking forward to returning on a private visit next time. Fine dining, great music—a true 5-star experience. Thank you

Came in recently with my husband and will definitely be back. We were able to order one of the premium dry aged steaks (the sirloin) and it was out of this world amazing. Best steak I've ever had. Our waitress Amy recommended a wine that paired amazingly and the sides were impeccable too (cannot recommend the mac and cheese enough!!).
