We wanted to visit for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed.
We started with a pint of Guinness and looked over the menu.
Two of us had the roast dry aged rump of beef, which was served with roast potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy.
Hubby chose fish and chips. The fish was North Sea, which he had never tried before. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese for the table.
We had a great seat next to the window.
The food was faultless and flavoursome.
Staff were friendly, and we shared a few laughs with them.
The place was busy and booking for Sunday lunch essential.
Although you could find Sunday lunch cheaper nearby, the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere make this worth the extra cost.
I can only talk about the quality of the food and the taste experience of the food.
Such a disappointment.
Bland, non discript curries that were really poor and underwhelming, and expensive for the end product.
I want to support local businesses but I cannot recommend this place for takeaway curries.
IMO there's no excuse for under flavoured, under seasoned and under spiced curries.
I'll be honest. I thought I'd walked into someone's front room when we went in. But honestly the owner (sorry I forgot your name) was an extremely nice guy and served great food.
We had the meze with home made bread and every dish on there was extremely tasty. We also had a lamb stew and shish/donner mix all of which were very good.
No alcohol is served here but you can bring your own. So nip over to the Coop, get yourself some cheap plonk and enjoy a great night they're
This place served such great quality food, so beautifully presented, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Felt that prices were right. Would love to go back here and have recommended it to friends.
Spotted the restaurant from Haymarket railway station. The restaurant stood out as being interesting and I wasn’t disappointed. Managed to walk in without a reservation and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The menu was limited (no pizza) which I appreciate and I wasn’t disappointed. Food was amazing and I will definitely be back
