First time and decent ,all round service. Good size portions, will have to try their Sunday dinner soon...

I can believe the hype now after that exceptional Garlogie Inn Burger Couldnt manage pudding it was that good, already looking forward to my next visit Best to book a table, it may be a hidden gem on the country roads but its super busy Staff were fantastic too

Absolutely outstanding food and service, everyone was so attentive, I feel that as soon as we were finished with empty drink bottles/glasses they were taken away so as nothing was cluttered on the table. Not expected but thought it was really nice that the owner sat down and took the time to talk to us. Garlogie is very nostalgic for me as my family took me there when I was young and its so nice that it felt like nothing had changed from the last time I'd visited.

staff is superb, sweet and caring beyond belief <3 be weary that portions are flavourful and abundant - there is a light menu though. we had the sunday's roast, which is a specialty i wanted my parents to taste and it was well worth the travel. a nice stop if you're on the road back to your room from a castle you just visited.

Lovely family meal on Sunday for my grandson's 18th birthday

Not a lot of choice on the menu , thought it would be more traditional menu. Special board salmon or Thai curry ! Never heard of fish with selected cheese on the top. Won't hurry back!

My first time in a Scottish restaurant and it was amazing trying cod.

Really great place for lunch. Menu was plentiful and everything arrived piping hot. Service was excellent and little music would go a long way in creating a more welcoming atmosphere.

Welcomed by young well trained staff. Place was very well presented. Drinks orders taken promptly and they went to some effort to get what we wanted. We ordered from light lunch menu and it arrived nicely presented and obviously prepared by kitchen staff who were expert. And at a reasonable price. We didn't leave hungry!

It's a great place to meet up with friends or dine out with the family. The food is amazing! Delicious hamburgers, minestrone soup and crumbles. I absolutely recommend.

Had three dinners at the Garlogie Inn and each one was excellent. Had already visited the inn a few years previously and I was pleased to see that the high standards and quality of food had been maintained. It has a great menu with tasty and well presented food. The staff are great. Must visit again when in the area.

Here you get really good food in a great atmosphere. The people there are incredibly nice, thank you all so much 😊 we were there for dinner, we were so impressed that we went there again for breakfast the next morning. Absolutely recommended, we will be back 👍

We were in the area on a short break and spotted this establishment, so as it was lunchtime, we thought we would give it a go. Wow, I'm so glad we stopped, an absolute gem of a pub / restaurant. The food was top-notch, fresh, expertly cooked, and excellent value for money. All of the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. I can honestly say that if we find ourselves in the area again, we will make it a priority to eat here again.

We had my Father's birthday dinner at the Garlogie Inn. We thought it was a nice friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious, as well as reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended.

The best roast beef in Aberdeenshire - in our opinion anyway. Always such a friendly welcome from the team. No wonder you have to book in advance! Already planning our next visit!

We decided to book here for my daughters birthday meal.. unfortunately we were really disappointed with tonight’s meal, scallops looked like they had been heated up in the microwave and looked very undercooked and sauce was extremely tasteless, mains were a let down one being a special of honey chilli chicken which just tasted like sweet n sour, we weren’t asked how our food was when staff were clearing plates or when we payed for bill, apart from everything else staff were lovely.

Been here quite a few times including with my friend Gregor who’s in an electric wheelchair. I just wanted to say that the food is really lovely and as, if not more important, the service, care and support is just amazing. I love great service - people who really care about their clients and customers and these staff are fantastic. Especially with Gregor. Big thank you. Much appreciated.

Very nice, great food, staff very friendly. You do not get the feeling you have to rush. Pudding very good. Sticky toffee and a raspberry sponge with custard - both in little jars to pour - your choice how much and where you want it !! Super !!! Great value for money. Highly recommended. Book a table - it seems to be always busy. April - we came back; with a friend .... she was amazed. Enjoyed very much the venison. Worth our wee travel !

Havent been in over 5 years (dont know why we've left it that long), and it's better than ever. Menu has so much choice, kids menu also very good. Prices also very reasonable. My Haddock was excellent and my 2 year old had the pizza. She ate alot more than she normally does - which gives her seal of approval. Food was fresh and hot when served. A huge plus point was the staff. Friendly welcome, prompt service and never left waiting. Also, there was plenty of them, which is how it should be in a busy place. Looking forward to next visit.

I ordered a mixed grill , a favourite of mine, usually when I order I'm asked how would you like your steak? what I reecived was a bulk standard breakfast - with s lamp chop, maybe that was to mask it as a mixed grill. service was excellent.

Hadn’t visited for a while, popped out for lunch on Friday , phoned ahead and they’d squeeze us into bar, everyone thourighly enjoyed food, very nice and tasty. It’s was lovely to see it so busy with it being fully booked. Staff were fantastic, just genuinely lovely and attentive. Will return

Family friendly pub with good food and service

A few drinks before some fine food & service as always from Nick & the team...famous parmo tonight two ways chicken/haddock & liver/bacon followed by Eton Mess & old school sponge cherry style!

Great place to go. Nice atmosphere & staff. Food amazing. Lots of choices & all at a reasonable price. Haddock Parmos - sublime! Chicken Braigiewell - lovely. Soups - Pea & Ham really nice, hot & a good sized bowl. White chocolate & raspberry sponge with custard - definitely not to be missed! Looking forward to our next visit.

Myself and a few lads from Teesside found this place with Parmos on the Menu, so we booked a table for 8 to give it a whirl, and wow is the only thing I can say, absolutely top notch food and great service and lovely friendly staff, being from Middlesbrough and finding a parmo that amazing in Aberdeen is very rare, it was that nice we even went back again the night after !! Would highly recommend to anyone! Keep up the good work…. Daz

Lovely space and very friendly staff. However, I was disappointed with the Sunday roast. It was expensive and there was little to no vegetables on our plate.

Popped in for a light lunch on 14 Feb 2024. Have driven past many times before always wanting to visit sometime. I was welcomed; seated & told about the specials of the day, which all sounded delicious. I immediately felt at ease and comfortable here. I had the Club sandwich on ciabatta with a side order of skinny fries. Food was served quickly with a smile and was great! The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. A well run establishment with a wonderfully warm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

Thank you to the Garlogie Inn staff today for being so welcoming and helpful when we broke down near by. Had a lovely breakfast and lunch. Will definitely be back again, hopefully under better circumstances.

A group of 9 of us enjoyed a Christmas lunch. The menu was a fixed price at 2 or 3 courses. Set menu had sufficient choices . Turkey and beef were popular The normal menu was also available. The restaurant was full and plenty of yuletide atmosphere. Car park just about coped with number of patrons. We enjoyed our visit.

Decent sized plates of food. Lovely presentation

Well presented and prepared traditional Scottish dishes. Fish was very fresh and delicious and chips were crisp. A decent selection of beers, wines and spirits on offer and prices were very reasonable. Servers were friendly and efficient, dining areas are warm, nicely decorated and tables are evenly spaced for comfort and some privacy. My one suggestion would be to have some larger serving dishes for sauces like tomato and tartare but it probably cuts back on waste to do it this way.

I had a meal for my mothers 80th with some family and friends, I could not fault the place, the food was excellent, the staff were very attentive, the layout of the place suited us. Its the first time I eaten there and I will definitely go back.

Family meal for 9 at the Garlogie Inn yesterday. One criticism is that its so hard to choose from a menu and specials board that oozes great food. The menu is backed up by an outstanding kitchen who produces amazing flavours and quality to the plate, and warm friendly waiters to the table. 9 empty plates showed our appreciation Avoid disappointment!!! We had lunch here with our family, very welcoming as soon as we arrived and very attentive. Food was delicious with a good and varied menu, have been many times before and would definitely recommend Garlogie.

We has a lovely meal for our wedding Anniversary but paying £9.00 for a large Rose wine we thought was a bit steep if we knew that we would have ordered a smaller amount but The service was Excellent 👍👍

Had a meal with friends. There was a variety of foods on the menu and we all opted for different foods. A quaint venue.

Great scotish food in a nice atmosphere and very friendly staff in the countryside

We hadn't booked but the efficient staff located a table for us very quickly. After our order we didn't have to wait long before the food was ready. My sea bass looked overcooked as the skin was charred but the fish itself was ggood.The roast veg and crushed poached I think were prepared and a touch too oily but tasted fine. My friend had chicken in Panko covered in white sauce and cheese then under a grill to brown. It was given the thumbs up and was such a big portion she couldn't finish it all. We would go back but as it seems to be a very popular restaurant we would consider booking a table as it was busy.on the Wednesday we went. The staff were very efficient and friendly and seemed determined to make sure all customers were catered for promptly. Thumbs up for them.
