Just had a lunch here with a friend, very nice food, lovely staff, value for money. Will definitely recommend & return with family & friends 😊

Havent been in over 5 years (dont know why we've left it that long), and it's better than ever. Menu has so much choice, kids menu also very good. Prices also very reasonable. My Haddock was excellent and my 2 year old had the pizza. She ate alot more than she normally does - which gives her seal of approval. Food was fresh and hot when served. A huge plus point was the staff. Friendly welcome, prompt service and never left waiting. Also, there was plenty of them, which is how it should be in a busy place. Looking forward to next visit.

I ordered a mixed grill , a favourite of mine, usually when I order I'm asked how would you like your steak? what I reecived was a bulk standard breakfast - with s lamp chop, maybe that was to mask it as a mixed grill. service was excellent.

Hadn’t visited for a while, popped out for lunch on Friday , phoned ahead and they’d squeeze us into bar, everyone thourighly enjoyed food, very nice and tasty. It’s was lovely to see it so busy with it being fully booked. Staff were fantastic, just genuinely lovely and attentive. Will return

A few drinks before some fine food & service as always from Nick & the team...famous parmo tonight two ways chicken/haddock & liver/bacon followed by Eton Mess & old school sponge cherry style!

Family friendly pub with good food and service

Myself and a few lads from Teesside found this place with Parmos on the Menu, so we booked a table for 8 to give it a whirl, and wow is the only thing I can say, absolutely top notch food and great service and lovely friendly staff, being from Middlesbrough and finding a parmo that amazing in Aberdeen is very rare, it was that nice we even went back again the night after !! Would highly recommend to anyone! Keep up the good work…. Daz

Great place to go. Nice atmosphere & staff. Food amazing. Lots of choices & all at a reasonable price. Haddock Parmos - sublime! Chicken Braigiewell - lovely. Soups - Pea & Ham really nice, hot & a good sized bowl. White chocolate & raspberry sponge with custard - definitely not to be missed! Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely space and very friendly staff. However, I was disappointed with the Sunday roast. It was expensive and there was little to no vegetables on our plate.

Popped in for a light lunch on 14 Feb 2024. Have driven past many times before always wanting to visit sometime. I was welcomed; seated & told about the specials of the day, which all sounded delicious. I immediately felt at ease and comfortable here. I had the Club sandwich on ciabatta with a side order of skinny fries. Food was served quickly with a smile and was great! The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. A well run establishment with a wonderfully warm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

Thank you to the Garlogie Inn staff today for being so welcoming and helpful when we broke down near by. Had a lovely breakfast and lunch. Will definitely be back again, hopefully under better circumstances.

Excellent food, smiling staff and a full gluten-free menu. Even their staple parmos can be GF. I had the chicken one and it was lovely.

Delicious meal & welcoming staff, went for lunch & had small portion of the Christmas meal. My husband had chicken parmo.

A group of 9 of us enjoyed a Christmas lunch. The menu was a fixed price at 2 or 3 courses. Set menu had sufficient choices . Turkey and beef were popular The normal menu was also available. The restaurant was full and plenty of yuletide atmosphere. Car park just about coped with number of patrons. We enjoyed our visit.

Very nice, great food, staff very friendly. You do not get the feeling you have to rush. Pudding very good. Sticky toffee and a raspberry sponge with custard - both in little jars to pour - your choice how much and where you want it !! Super !!! Great value for money. Highly recommended. Book a table - it seems to be always busy.

Well presented and prepared traditional Scottish dishes. Fish was very fresh and delicious and chips were crisp. A decent selection of beers, wines and spirits on offer and prices were very reasonable. Servers were friendly and efficient, dining areas are warm, nicely decorated and tables are evenly spaced for comfort and some privacy. My one suggestion would be to have some larger serving dishes for sauces like tomato and tartare but it probably cuts back on waste to do it this way.

I had a meal for my mothers 80th with some family and friends, I could not fault the place, the food was excellent, the staff were very attentive, the layout of the place suited us. Its the first time I eaten there and I will definitely go back.

Family meal for 9 at the Garlogie Inn yesterday. One criticism is that its so hard to choose from a menu and specials board that oozes great food. The menu is backed up by an outstanding kitchen who produces amazing flavours and quality to the plate, and warm friendly waiters to the table. 9 empty plates showed our appreciation Avoid disappointment!!! Great all round, far better than average pub food and great coffee, something for everyone on the menu.

We had lunch here with our family, very welcoming as soon as we arrived and very attentive. Food was delicious with a good and varied menu, have been many times before and would definitely recommend Garlogie.

We has a lovely meal for our wedding Anniversary but paying £9.00 for a large Rose wine we thought was a bit steep if we knew that we would have ordered a smaller amount but The service was Excellent 👍👍

Had a meal with friends. There was a variety of foods on the menu and we all opted for different foods. A quaint venue.

We hadn't booked but the efficient staff located a table for us very quickly. After our order we didn't have to wait long before the food was ready. My sea bass looked overcooked as the skin was charred but the fish itself was ggood.The roast veg and crushed poached I think were prepared and a touch too oily but tasted fine. My friend had chicken in Panko covered in white sauce and cheese then under a grill to brown. It was given the thumbs up and was such a big portion she couldn't finish it all. We would go back but as it seems to be a very popular restaurant we would consider booking a table as it was busy.on the Wednesday we went. The staff were very efficient and friendly and seemed determined to make sure all customers were catered for promptly. Thumbs up for them.

Another excellent meal at the Garlogie Inn....the portions are big & the food always so tasty....2 of our party had the famous Garlogie Parmo done 2 ways! the service from Nick & the team was outstanding as always!

Birthday treat for myself, and my wife made sure it was all booked in advance, as its so busy and popular - rightly so! I was looking forward to a nice rib-eye steak, but just lost out to another table, who got the last of them! I ended up having scallops and black pudding, just perfectly cooked, followed by substitute main of grilled Ayrshire gammon, with egg and a wee Diane sauce -- sublime. Finished of with sticky toffee pudding. Garlogie is well known for its fine soups, 3 different parmo's and varied 'crumble of the day' puddings, but i have to say the seafood options and specials are also superb, especially the sea trout. Yes food costs are going up, but Nick (the innkeeper) has tried to keep them minimal, and with good portions sizes, its value for money and great treat. Also have to praise the choice of alcohol-free drinks, for us drivers -- especially Yardarm beer and my favourite Kopparberg Pear or Mixed Fruit. Staff and service detail are very good, there is a reason the tip jar is now a larger receptacle, and why is so busy 7 days a week!! Do visit (book first), say hi to Nick and enjoy your meal.

It has been a while since we have been at The Garlogie Inn. The food was very good and was great value for money. Didn't have to compete with the music either. We could enjoy conversation over dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Having had a really good meal a few months ago I had been keen for this revisit. Once again could not fault my food. Great menu of choices and there is a specials board too. Tasty meal and no skimping on portion. Was having an overdue catch up with friend which ended up very lengthy lunch! Food is served all day and the staff were friendly and did not try to rush us out. Look forward to being back again

Came in for a lunch with the parents and despite having to have forgotten to book a table, we were seated at a fine table in the bar area with absolutely no fuss. The restaurant itself is exceptionally popular (and rightly so) so booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our order was taken and drinks arrived promptly, we then received our food in good time, there was no delay despite the place being full! The food was really good and the portion sizes are incredible, you will not go hungry here! The value is great, it is not cheap food on offer but rather very good value home cooked food. I had absolutely no complaints but I have no doubt any complaints would be easily resolved. All in all, a great, cosy venue with great service and food. This wasn’t my first visit and won’t be my last! Thanks to all the staff for another great visit.

We were fortunate enough to happen upon this friendly oasis on a rainy Sunday night when other restaurants were closed. Nick (the owner) greeted us and found a place for us on a busy evening. The place was lovely, the food was good, the staff were friendly and the owner treated every guest like he was happy we were there and wanted to help us in any way possible. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Lamb Roast and our whole experience at the Garlogie Inn, and we even learned what “garlogie” means. You won’t regret it if you stop by too.

The best breakfast in the shire No need for any more words you need to try it opens at 10 always fresh and good. Just try it Hard to say more. Poached eggs, black pudding, mushrooms,and tomatoes with white toast not the full Scottish but it suited me

There for a birthday meal, excellent food, good service. I didn't pay so don't know about that, but menu prices looked pretty good.

Been a tough year for all, and glad of the frequent visits to the 'Inn' to see Nick and the team, plus we enjoyed a cracking meal, usual great service and food. The chef (Paul) has a magic touch, especially this visit with the Venison Medallions (its an incredible dish), but he is faultless with my favs, the soups and any crumble for pudding that's for sure. 🦌 Nick and his team have gone above and beyond with Covid guidelines. Plenty of space between the tables, everyone is asked to use the simple virtual check-in online service for track & trace (same one I use at work) and all tables being thoroughly cleaned after use. Very good place to eat, very safe and always return as often as my wife lets me! 😁

Really nice food and a great location too!

Booked the Garlogie for my son's 21st birthday meal along with family. Staff were fantastic from start to finish and couldn't do enough. This includes the manager helping us with my son's cake and a lovely touch with the music. The selection was tremendous and the quality of food was first class, would highly recommend!

If I could I’d give them -1 star :) I’m a person and very well studied and raised thank god to know that the owner of this place is extremely unprofessional and rude with people and doesn’t even know how to deal with issues at his place. What a pity being you, my darling. I witnessed a kid going through an allergy reaction when ate a soup from the kid's menu. The mother was literally kicked out when she came back asking questions regarding that soup. The kid ended up at the hospital. This place was already reported to the authorities. Next time, watch yourself and act like a human, not an animal. Not surprise me that you are in the middle of nowhere having a little pub, just matches with your personality. X

Great place, been several times now since moving to the area, excellent menu selection, food quality, prices, staff and decor, no complaints whatsoever! I would love it if the owners took over the Fourmile in Kingswells which is my local, they would do a far better job! Well worth the 15 drive to the Garlogie for us!

Fantastic breakfast with superb service. I had full breakfast and my wife had bacon with pancakes and maple syrup. Both dishes were superb. No better place for breakfast around Westhill.

Apart from the food being delicious the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.....

We have eaten here 3 times in the last fortnight, twice from the main menu and once from the Christmas menu. Each meal was served by very friendly staff who went out their way to make sure everything was to your liking. The food on each occasion was absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection and certainly plentiful. The choice for the Christmas menu was excellent and the Clootie Dumpling was to die for, so had to have it twice. Well done to Nick and all the staff to make this such a little gem of a restaurant. Merry Christmas to all and see you early 2019

We met friends on Monday night and had a great meal. The service was first class! We were even given extra carrots as we commented how nice the were ( and my wife stole some from my plate) The deserts were also very nice and nothing was a problem off the staff. We will return and now on our favourites list .

Good meals good sevice and the take out very handy when you don't want to cook

Started with a roasted bell pepper soup which was good... And continued with monk fish... Do no taste good at all ... Sauce directly from the jar (not home made) to the serving cup and served cold... Luckily I was able to enjoy the potatoes..... And when I paid, the price on the bill was £3 more expensive than on the board ( unfortunately I saw it 2 days after while checking the bill)
