Tease coffee bar in Aberdeenshire

Fantastic little coffee shop. Extremely accommodating and friendly towards us rained-on cyclists. Fantastic food and amazing cakes.

We went there for a drink and chat with in laws. There was no atmosphere, music stopped playing. It was you had to go to the counter to order and when you pay. They had all the different drinks under the sun, however, it would have been nicer to have waitress service I feel.

Disappointing that they have dog bowls outside but no dogs inside. Cakes and coffee were lovely... Will definately go again.

Nice place. Only nipped in for a coffee with mum & dad as we're running late. All of us said about how nice the drinks were (a mocha, a latte & 2 hot chocolates) . It was pretty quiet but it was 16:00 on a rainy Thursday. Would recommend.

Lovely staff, quick service and friendly environment

We pass through Banchory regularly and this is our go to coffee stop. There's often parking up the road outside the undertaker, but if you miss out on Tease's great coffee and cakes it'll be your funeral!

Fantastic cooked breakfast on a Sunday 😁

We popped into Tease at the weekend after Beast Race. From the minute we entered the cafe, we were met with friendly, welcoming faces. We ordered paninis and took a sweet treat home. The quality of the food was great, fresh and plenty filling inside the panini. Next time, we plan to sit out in their garden seating and enjoy a coffee. Highly recommend this local business.

Nice staff and service was good but expensive for coffee and cake. I was exactly £8. I’m used to going to cafes to meet friends and this is the dearest one I’ve been in.

Ein kleines Café. Der Kuchen war gut und auch die Tagessuppe hat gut geschmeckt. Die Musik war zwar etwas laut, schaffte aber eine gute Stimmung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Cappuccino, der war sensationell.

I've been here 3 times now and it's a nice place which is very clean and nice food. I find the prices are on the high side but still go as it gives employment to locals and i think Banchory could do with more cafes that open past 4pm. My biggest gripe is the soup is advertised with a "chunk" of bread and butter yet only once has my soup come with bread or butter..... this is really bad that i have to ask for it. Remember to serve food as described and charged for!!

Discovered this cafe on our second visit to Banchory. Great atmosphere and good music playlist. Enjoyed the tea cakes and scones and loved the tea loose leaf. Staff very welcoming and friendly but good service. Will definitely return when next visiting Banchory and throughly recommend. A little bit pricier than some of the other cafes but worth the little bit extra.

Good coffee, good food and very friendly and helpful staff. A winner all round, the link sausage roll was a very generous size and delicious.

Terrible customer service with rude staff and generally not particularly friendly. Food was quite basic, none of the food seems to be made on site, we were presented with a plastic tub when asking if their soup was veggie. I would only recommend grabbing a quick coffee from there

Delicious soup (sweet potato and butternut squash) and panini (onion bhaji and chilli jam) with drool-worthy selection of fillings available. Friendly staff too. Highly recommended. Tasty company helped :)

Lovely cappuccino and kids hot chocolate. Helpful staff re gluten free options - banana and cinnamon cake was our favourite - moist and tasty.

Came in yesterday for coffee and a bacon roll, both of which were superb. The cakes looked fantastic. Really friendly and helpful staff, this is a spacious cafe with a nice atmosphere. Stuart lent me his track pump to inflate my bicycle tyre, even though there's a bike shop across the road. Highly recommended.

Best Victoria sponge I've had in my life! Great selection of teas and coffees and large selection of baked goods.

Brilliant, Stuart the owner is a very accommodating person and will and does go above and beyond for the options you require and you just tell Stuart or staff what you need and they will provide you with what you ask for and obviously there is a very well thought out menu to choose from. XXXXX 5 star service.

Called in twice today and everything was spot on. Ordered coffee and soup and the chap even held the coffee till after we'd finished the eating. Brill. Soup was tasty. Thanks

Stopped here on our visit to the Royal Deeside, what a mistake. £18.90 for a coffee and two paninis! We were waiting 20 minutes for our take away paninis. Not a clue how as they were barely cooked, bread soft as anything, very little filling! Such a waste of money! £18.90 for a small coffee and two paninis on their own… no salad, no crisps! Absolutely disgusting for a take away. Not sure how they get off with it. Don’t recommend unless you want to be ripped off.

Like this cafe for a coffee and a snack, on a rare day there's good outdoor seating now too.

I had a slice of Victoria sponge and it was very nice. My husband had some banana loaf which he enjoyed.

Such awful service we left. One other person having coff. We sat and waited and no one came to take our order even when we asked if we order at counter or table. The staff were more concerned with their days off.

Cannot praise the staff highly enough. When they heard I had taken a tumble in the carpark staff sprung into action with an icepack for my face. Thank you ladies you did a grand job. Tea, coffee and cake were good to.

Very helpful lady today. Gave me a bowl for my soup. Offered me a spoon also. Tidied away from the table used items to make room for my things. Granny and granda's coffee and cakes were lovely. Riley (I'm only 20 months old, so Granda is writing this for me)

Being honest travellers I could go on for days about how wonderful this place is and my reasons are simple! Tanya and Stuart are two of the most lovely people and work so hard to make tease not just the coffee shop it is but a haven for fantastic fresh food and cakes it's sublime! As soon as you walk In you will be warmly welcomed sit down relax and peruse the excellent menu,the thing about tease is quality everything I said is fresh to order and the coffee is the best I've ever tasted I'd highly recommend the cappuchino best I've tasted tease is well decorated warm and friendly and I love to sit sip a coffee and watch the world go by I love the place there is no better that I've discovered in Scotland and that's a fact so if your in the wee toon of banchory pop by for an unforgettable coffee and food experience ☮️ kind regards barryx

Just visited here for the first time, lovely friendly staff. Great selection of yeas and coffee's to choose from, had the carrot cake with a bakewell tart flavoured coffee a cream apple scone with breakfast tea which were both super really nice.

Nice little find with seating outside in a pretty little garden. Food and coffee good with a nice selection of cakes. Would visit again if in the area.

Fabulous coffee and dairy free lemon and poppy seed cake.

£8.40 for a tuna and cheese panini and a coffee, then asked to stand outside and wait for it. Then open it up to find this pathetic amount of filling! Better going to co op for a pre made sandwich for 1/3 of the money.

We've called in here a few times now when visiting Banchory on Holiday. Good coffee, done well with some nice cake to boot. Use of sustainable/compostbale take out containers a nice touch as well.

Stopped in here on a trip to Banchory, had a slice of the coffee and walnut cake with a cup of hot chocolate. I can say without a doubt that the coffee cake was the best I have ever had, so rich and creamy with a smooth coffee flavour. The hot chocolate was likewise delicious and not too sweet! Highly recommended

Lovely café, visited for some homemade soup following a walk up a local hill. The service and COVID measures where excellent, felt very relaxed during our visit. Soup was very tasty just what we needed; would recommend to anyone

Tables not clean , scone tasted stale and frozen , double biscuit dry, won’t be back I’m afraid 😢

This was a lovely little cafe. Only a few people allowed in at a time though because it is not a big place. Popular with cyclists and some Cycling Jerseys displayed up on the wall.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly I'd really reccomend Tease coffee bar all day long. I've never, in all my life, seen and tasted such perfection, the presentation of the coffee is A Class and the coffee itself is amazing, even the temperature of the Coffee is Perfection. Super friendly welcoming staff who go the extra mile. Coffee is fresh and the baristas never fail to please with a correctly made beverage. Always a good selection of cakes and treats to complimenmt the coffee. On my last 3 visits (out on the motorbike to escape the house) I have stopped in for food. The menu is simple, honest and has a good selection. I believe its a simplified menu due to covid but I could be wrong. Soups are hearty and full of veg, great as the days are getting colder. Both inside and out covid protection and procedures are being followed well and masks worn by all staff. I ate outside on all occasions but I would have been happy to venture inside (not something I say lightly). Thanks guys!

Great cakes and very friendly service. They have handled the new regulations really well and we felt very well looked after and super safe. A very light and airy space with great home baking.
