Pleasantly surprised. We had the roast beef Sunday lunch which was lovely and well worth the money. Can’t comment on other dishes but they did look nice and plentiful. The menu had a really good selection . We will be back !

Nice atmosphere. Very busy as bank holiday weekend. Good range of beers. Dog friendly, and it also has a beer garden. Didn't have anything to eat on this occasion, but everything that was served looked decent.

The food was great when it arrived, but we waited almost an hour without any word of apology, it wasn't even busy. Make sure you have aplenty of time.

Went to the Harbour Bar for a drink accompanied by my wife on Saturday, the hospitality from staff was so good we decided to stay for lunch. Superb food served with a smile.Would definitely return, highly recommend.

Doesn't look much from outside but what a fabulous bar on the inside . Really friendly staff , we didn't have food but it looked fantastic and the plates going back were all empty . A proper local where tourists like us were made more than welcome . 👌

The best pub in Troon. Lovely staff, manager and owner. Very friendly and easy to make friends if you’re out of town. The best Sunday roast I have had in ages. Amazing roast potatoes!!!! They play live sport and there is live music during the week and on Saturdays

Outstanding kitchen. Big props to whoever is turning out the scran. Just for a change, someone in there knows how to cook and care about what they send out. They will need to take care to maintain standards though.

Saw the reviews so popped in following our walk along the beach. Brilliant food, service impeccable. Ryder cup golf on and loads of tv screens so if that’s not your scene maybe not great, but it was ours. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Considering it was a wet Wednesday in September, The Harbour Bar was very busy. Food and beer were excellent, service was spot on and there was a pleasant atmosphere about the place.

Fabulous bar. Dog friendly, brilliant food…. Chicken wings are amazing!! lovely staff, great atmosphere. Tables can be reserved. It does get very busy, so best to do this. Sky sport in both bars & live music most Saturdays. Near the marina, frequented by visitors & locals. Outside garden which is lovely in the summer.

Attended the weekly jam session, some of the best local talent on view. Get down enjoy the music, join in if you want 👍👍

Quaint coastal bar and restaurant with marine memobilia in Troon. The day's special Monkfish and Prawns linguine was done to perfection. Delicious cream sauce with a mild chilli flavour on bed of pasta with garlic bread as sides. Yum

Dreadful they are highly judgemental of anyone with or who has addiction issues banning them and their mates yet louts are welcome if the ownership like them.they act on tickle tackle from right wing extremists who they are friends with on deciding who to ban.pathetuc they don't base their judgements on concrete evidence and instead rely on rumours thar have no basis .I wouldn't go in this racist establishment if u paid me

Just popped in for a beer. Sat in the lovely beer garden and bumped into friends from East Kilbride. Small world. I had a Tennents 60/s as you dont see it very often. Went done well.

Great wee pub excellent service

A proper pub with a good menu and a beer garden. Great service , the food was piping hot and delicious. We spent a lovely, chilled afternoon having a few drinks outside.

Fantastic homely pub. Had the chicken gyros which were amazing, especially the chilli sauce, and really friendly staff and locals added to the atmosphere.

First visit to this pub after a google search of places to eat in Troon. Very impressed- food was excellent. Service was great, staff very friendly. Lovely place to eat/drink. Will definitely return and would highly recommend

This place was exactly as the other reviews said which is why we went & I'm glad we did. Lovely staff, the waitress was trying to make my partner feel welcome by speaking a few words in Spanish, good food & service. Great location near our hotel as well. I'm usually very picky with eating beef but not one chewy bit. Lovely pint of home with Tennant's on draft too. The only thing is the feta salad had too much pomegranate for my taste but apart from that, great value. Come here if you're nearby, you won't be disappointed. Food only up until 8 though.

Great value and good atmosphere

The bar is a terrific venue and the bar staff are fantastic. I exclude from these comments the bar manager and the bar owner. Their own staff find them moody , unpredictable and irascible. If you don’t fit into their specific profile, then forget being welcomed there. I was a loyal customer there over 7 years and never ever felt welcomed by these two ( or indeed the clique they personally drool over). Such a shame , as the pub is a fab venue and most people there are very friendly and nice .

Awesome beer garden dog friendly. Good food and cold beer on a summers day. Couldn’t fault it with spotless toilets and freshly cooked decent quality of grub. Our new go to when in town.

Great place to eat 5 of us today and 1 child , great friendly staff and terrific food I had the days wings then Roast lamb they were fantastic others had 2 x roast lamb, 1 fish and chips and a Cajun chicken pasta, everyone thought the food and service was first class , definitely be back. We’ll done to the Harbour bar team.

Took a wee trip down to Troon from Glasgow as it was a sunny day , bear garden was a wee sun trap locals very friendly and staff . Going back next time to try their food

Good old fashioned pub and friendly staff

Has reasonable food but ownership extremely Authoritarian ignorant ,judgemental and very much into stigmatisation of groups of people that they define as not part of the in crowd and anyone that associates with them. I find this a very short sighted attitude to have. If you ostracise those who have experienced addiction issues and anyone who associates with them I think this is very destructive hypocritical potentially an destructive discriminatory and marginalises and isolates a group of people who are already isolated.. Yet ironically there are some who behave in a less than acceotab le manner who are made very welcome by the highly judgemental ownnershi

In Troon for a couple of days came across a little gem of a pub great meals,fab atmosphere staff lovely

Loved this place. Nipped in for a fast lunch, food was delicious, very reasonably priced. Decor is really cool, staff very friendly. We had the 2 meals for £8.95 as a quick lunch, will go back for a full meal when we have a bit more time. Menu looks great, loads of excellent options.

This is our go-to pub when we visit Troon. The staff are amazing. The beer garden is delightful and so relaxing. Prices for drinks are fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

Very cheap and lovely food. Only problem that it was a bit slow to get it. But can't complain really because of the price. If you have time for a lovely pub lunch definitely try the Harbour Bar.

This is a wee hidden gem. We have visited with my dog multiple times now and have been pleased with every visit. Fantastic food, pet friendly and amazing staff

Nice food and good portion sizes. Simple but varied menu. Dog friendly and made to feel welcome, provided the dog with a bowl of fresh water. Parking right outside the pub. Would recommend and definitely will revisit when next in the area.

Best bar in troon, nice selection of different beers. Friendly staff, friendly locals and the food isn't bad at all...in all fairnessne never tried anything else apart from the chicken wings but nonetheless always good and nothing to complain about.

Hi was in here today for lunch with a few people the food excellent the staff friendly and helpful would definitely tell anyone to visit here

Our club has had a few social evenings with a buffet and private room. The buffet was of exceptional quality in every case with a wide range of food to suit everyone at a good price. Can highly recommend.
