A great little place just at the foot of the Wallace Monument in Stirling, a really good menu for vegetarian options. The juke box which still works is such a nostalgic touch providing much entertainment.

WENT IN FOR AN ICE CREAM FOR THE BOY ,12 AND A COFFEE FOR ME. THE OWNER YES THE OWNER SAID IT WAS FULL UP EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE PLENTY SEATS IN THE FRONT COFFEE AREA. HE WAS VERY CURT AND FOUND HIM RUDE,OBVIOUSLY DIDNT SUIIT HIM

A friend of mine recommended this place as a great venue for fish and chips. My wife and I took my parents out for a drive in late August and decided to pop in here for lunch based on the recommendation. We had a table booked so everything was going to plan. When we entered we could see the restaurant was busy and had a nice atmosphere. We were shown to our seats and provided with the menu and drinks. Three of us decided on fish and chips and my wife chose the fish platter - then the waitress shared the news - fryers don't go on until 16.30 so its pizza or pasta only for lunch. Huge sadness and disappointment for all of us so we then had to select pizza or pasta. My wife and I decided to share Lasagna and Chicken & mushroom pizza, my parents chose something similar. The food arrived in around 10 mins, looked fine and tasted ok however all we wanted was fish and chips (real chippy chips). The staff were nice the place is clean, a little dated but fine. May return one evening for fish and chips.

No service, sat for ages not even acknowledged

We visited Sterling this past June, we went to Corrieri's for breakfast and it was so good we decided to go for dinner too and even again the day after that! Mr Corrieri himself was very nice and accommidating, he sat with us and gave us a few lessons about the Scottish ways he told us about William Walace and Sir William Scott. He gave us a few names of places to go visit as well. The food was really good, the drinks were amazing as well and the Gelati was super yummy. Our friend Jessica is also looking forward to her future job as a Gelati maker at Corrieris !😁😅

Lovely restaurant at the foot of the Wallace Monument. Would recommend the Salsiccia Pizza. Parking is challenging on main road and is restricted.

Went here when i met with friends, the pizza is absolutely gorgeous. We also had gelato and even for someone who doesn't really like desserts i was very impressed. Staff were excellent at dietary requirements

A good place to get out of trouble. The food is not out of this world, but they serve you wonderfully and it is very close to Stirling Castle.

We visited on the recommendation of the owner of the B&B we were staying in. We were not disappointed, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We enjoyed lasagne and tagliatelle, both were tasty and authentic. Staff were welcoming, decor is a little tired but that almost adds to the atmosphere and feeling of being in a family run business. I'd heartily recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Nice place where time has stood still with a jukebox and nice paintings. Food was simple but fine. Good price-quality. Service was very enthusiastic and friendly.

We were on our way to the William Wallace monument. It's pretty good, and reasonably priced for Scotland. Plus they served pretty quickly. I liked it and I recommend it.

Visited here today for lunch with family including x2 toddlers. Had a really lovely lunch. Would definitely recommend going here as it was our first visit. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The food was so tasty and all homemade. We had a selection of pizzas, pastas, fish and chips. The carbonara and slag bol were both delicious. The chips are chippy chips as well, which we loved. The pizzas all look like they are homemade from the counter. Reading the last review I’m honestly a bit shocked someone gave it 1/5. The decor of the restaurant is traditional, I don’t see how that affects the food. It looks like a small family run cafe. They have velux windows on the roof in the seating area which has a stunning view of the Wallace monument. We also had an ice cream from the counter. The chocolate and strawberry flavour were so good. A great little cafe with authentic pasta, pizza, ice cream and coffee. Closed on a Tuesday. Expect school kids rush at lunch during term time.

Lovely meal of pizza and pasta - you can mix and match half portions as you like so I had a 7 " spinach and walnut pizza with half portion salmon and dill pasta. Both wonderful. Then canoli to finish. Super. Although the ice cream does look delicious. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat. 🥰

Corrieris was recommended to us and, I prefer to go to an Italian restaurant that is, actually, Italian-owned and not ones that profess to be Italian. So, I was full of hope. The restaurant, itself, looks as though nothing has been done to it since the 80s and, considering how busy they are, and the money that they take, one would think that some money might have been invested in it. As soon as we were seated, I noticed that the cutlery was dirty and asked that they be changed. They were. We ordered drinks and my glass was dirty. When i asked that it be changed, the owner smiled. It was but, there was no apology. We both ordered lasagne. When they arrived, they were both cold in the centre. They, too, were sent back. It wasn't going well. Waiting for things to be changed gave us the opportunity to look around and watch. We were plagued by flies and a restaurant, of this size, needs more than the one pest control unit that it has over the bar. The paint, on the walls, is peeling and the dirty floor has broken tiles. A young woman, behind the bar who dealt with the drinks orders, was constantly wiping her nose on the back of her hand and, I observed a dirty-looking man with long, greasy hair (not tied back) working in the kitchen area. I note that Food Standard ratings, in Scotland, are graded either; Pass or, Needs Attention. Corrieris is awarded Pass but, had this restaurant been in any other part of the U.K. (which are graded 1-5), I doubt that they would achieve higher than a 1. I have read other reviews on this restaurant and I find it hard to believe that they are reviewing the same establishment. I will say, however, that the lasagne (once it arrived hot) was very nice and exactly what I would have expected from home-made, Italian food.

Absolutely fantastic place to go. We have been a few times and have never been disappointed. The coffee is great, the ice cream is really good and the staff have been fantastic. Will definitely keep going back.

A strong favourite for many years. I have been coming here on trips to and through Stirling for at least 15 years and the place has always been brilliant. I visited again recently and the staff were lovely, cheerful, helpful and very happy to help. We bought tea and big mugs of coffees with biscuits and cakes, and then pizzas to take away. My tomato, garlic and green pepper vegetarian pizza was delicious and the perfect portion for one person to eat on the train!

This is a great little family restaurant with tasty reasonably priced food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I imagine a good percentage of the business at this cafe comes from tourists hungry after visiting the Wallace monument. That is a category into which I fall, and I am extremely happy I went here. The welcoming Italian charm of this place is palpable, and it made me think fondly of my own escapades around Italy about five years ago. I appreciate how the service is warm and welcoming without being overbearing, and the inside of the cafe provides an abundance of space. A certain pleasure and delight emerges from simply being in a place that is run well and run thoughtfully. There is nothing particularly distinctive about this cafe, but there's nothing wrong with that: it is simply trying to be a comforting Italian cafe, and in that ambition, it succeeds.

It's good near National Wallace Monument

Was in couple of weeks ago (was often here 60 years ago). Bright, friendly, nice food, good coffee, reasonable prices. Got impression tourists came to sit in, locals popped in for a chat and a takeaway: maybe?

Lovely Italian restaurant,pizza is amazing.

Our group of four has a person (me) who is gluten free and dairy free and a vegan. We stopped in on our way back from the William Wallace monument to see if they could accommodate both gluten free and dairy free options and they said they could. We ordered both pasta and pizza, and the food arrived more quickly than other places and each of our meals was quite good. They listened to our request to have the bills separated and they did this for us acting like it was the easiest thing in the world, which is not something we’ve experienced other place. All of us quite enjoyed our gelatos, including the dairy free options. All of us would go back for sure. This was one of the best lunch experiences we’ve had in Scotland.

I'm a vegan and they made a special veggie penne with mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and olives. Also had wonderful peach sorbet. Host/owner let us sit early and everyone was friendly.

Excellent food and friendly service

Visited Corrieri's for breakfast on Sunday and we were not disappointed. The Lido breakfast was outstanding as were the cappuccino's. Perfect final breakfast in Scotland. I was there with my family because we were having our first vacation in Scotland and wanted to eat fish and chips, sadly the time we went there fish and chips weren’t able to be picked up yet, so we had some pizza and pasta instead, the food was great. The owner also came up to us to have some small talk ask us where we are from and had a good time with us. Great place!

Corrieri's offers a nostalgic trip back to the 60s with its charming decor and vibrant atmosphere. Eager to try their offerings, I opted for a Hawaiian pizza, which impressively arrived in just 8 minutes and 37 seconds. Despite the swift service, the pizza itself was a bit of a letdown. Overloaded with oregano, it overshadowed the other flavors, resulting in a rather tasteless experience. However, the aesthetic charm of the place and the friendly, efficient service somewhat balanced the scales.

I went for a drive up this way with a friend and purely by chance found this place. Pleasantly surprised at how good it is inside. It's clean and airie with warm friendly service. The food was great and recommend the seafood pizza and fish and chips 👌 Definitely recommend this place if your passing through on a journey for dinner.

EASILY BEST FISH & CHIPS/PIZZA/ICE CREAM PARLOUR IN STIRLING. Authentic Italian cuisine and simply the best takeaway in the area. Has a huge audience and recommendations from locals. Everyone likes to go back. It’s the trusty, reliable option. Fairly priced unlike some chippys in Bridge of Allan/Stirling area. Nice to sit in the restaurant too, very Italian feel to it! Worth the money. Excellent quality pizzas, crispy chips, crispy fish 👍👍

Itilian immigrants to Scotland are reponsible for some of Scotland's best food - fish & chips, ice cream and, of course, pizza. Corrieri's is a traditional place, still run by the original family, and they deliver good, enjoyable food in a bustling cafe with cheerful service. The fish & chips are excellent and I always finish with an ice cream dessert.

Nothing much to review here. Average pizza, miserly portions. Service staff who couldn’t care less. It felt like it was trading on its reputation tonight, Far cry from my last visit here. Could do much better..

My work required an overnight stop over so treated myself to some Italian. Tagliatelle marinara, very pleasant, could have done with a bit more chilli, but that's just my preference! Had apple pie and cream for dessert, very nice, home made looking and tasty. Coffee to finish. Was reasonably busy but service was good, food hot, a nice atmosphere if here with friends I imagine. Staff friendly, nice and clean, reasonably priced. Worth a visit if out this way.!

Great place to eat before heading up to the Wallace monument

Had not been for a while but pleased to say standards remain excellent. Tagliatelle Pietro San Antonio for me and the No,7 Pizza for my wife , both first class. Staff very friendly and efficient. Great value for money.

Bought carry out fish and chips for the family, we have been many times, but last night the food was awful. Waited 15 for what we thought was freshly cooked food,not so, the fish was under cooked, it looked like it was not cooked in hot oil. The chips were mostly just scraps very few full chips, we had to put them in the bin. Very disappointed. Won't be back.

Corrieri's takes me back to the Italian cafes that used to be in all Scottish towns in my youth. Authentically Italian for 50 years - wonderful. Listening to Paverotti on the jukebox with an excellent pizza and some chippy chips 😄 The desserts are so good too, like the strawberry cheesecake. Staff were really friendly and the service was quick. Will definitely be back 😄

Went for tea, shared a faccacia to start, had Spaghetti Puttanesca (Olives, capers, anchovies in tomato sauce) for main, Oh yes and shared a portion of their "chip shop chips" then shared a hot caramel shortbread with their home made vanilla ice cream " Gelato" for dessert, then a wee Irish coffee to finish. Relaxed informal atmosphere with very friendly staff can't speak highly enough about the place. 👏👏👏 Recommended.

Corrieri's is a much loved institution! The food is always delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. I love it here 💗🇮🇹

These guys really need to up their game with regard to staff training in basic food hygiene. We sat at a table facing the kitchen and what we saw was pretty gross. The guy with the long hair was repeatedly wiping his nose with the back of his hand, then wiping his hand down his trouser leg. Then the hand was plunged into the pizza cheese and other ingredients to make the next pizza. I was so glad I wasn't having pizza.

Visited on recommendation and so glad we did. Super fresh food, excellent service and retro vibes. We especially enjoyed the brushetta and spaghetti puttanesca. We were on a tight schedule and the service was fast and efficient. Will visit again when next in Stirling.

I would go to Corrie's every week if I could, everything about it is wonderful, food service atmosphere, you just can't go wrong here. We will be back. Thank you to all the staff

Fantastic place with great food and great staff

Went with the family (6 Adults, 3 Children ) for my granddaughter's birthday treat as she wanted pizza. I am Celiac, had checked the online menu & phoned prior to going to ensure I could eat there. The server was very good advising me although the options were very limited (No pizza, carbonara or lasagne). I ordered the spaghetti Bolonaise however was very disappointed when it arrived ??? No spaghetti but pasta tubes ?? The rest of the family including the children enjoyed their food & wine however when it came to sweet time I asked the owner what my options were as there is no guidance or mention of allergies on the menu. I was informed Ice cream or sorbet !!!!!! On checking the menu myself there was jelly, banana, fruit & prob other options I can’t recall as well as the ice cream & sorbet. When informed the cashier removed the bolonaise from the bill however I don’t understand why NO SPAGHETTI in an Italian cafe ?? ( every supermarket in the town sells it) Overall disappointed, especially in the owners response & attitude WAS IT THAT MUCH BOTHER I couldn’t just take what was on the menu.

Great food & service, yummy rhum baba desert. However don't try and order food from the chippy section because they obviously close 30minutes before there meant to..

Haven’t visited in years but the standards were just as good as before. Tasty pizza and lovely ice cream. The young staff members were attentive. Cafe is clean and welcoming. Would recommend.

Great food, friendly service and a varied menu! Prices are fair, portions are nether large nor small. Cantine style inside which can be slightly loud at times. Parking nearby isn't easy. However I do recommend and go again with pleasure!

Always great. Authentic Scottish/Italian

Visited with young family for the first time. Had a wonderful fish and chip tea, kids had freshly made pizza. Couldn’t miss the the wonderful ice cream, finished off tea nicely. Prices were very good, unusual to see such fair pricing pleasant surprise. Staff were brilliant, young, friendly, efficient. Nice touch to play the juke box, it was our wedding anniversary and being able to play some of the oldies was heart warming. Thank everyone for making our day.

First visit post covid and still as good as ever! Traditional Stirling family and student pizza parlour and fish and chip shop combined. Corrieri’s is still an institution. All the favorite pizzas, real fish and chips and ice creams. Rapid service, juke box, good well priced Italian wines. Everything. I really cannot wait to go back.

Highest standards of service, quality food and good value. Carbonara always great

Looking at previous opinions seemed much better than in reality: carbonara tasting like baby food (no spices, pasta overdone) and medium warm, lasagna sheets overcooked but nice temperature when served straight from the oven. As it was nearly end of the day, staff was filling condiments between still dining clients, the dishes used for sugar weren't cleaned and still worn signs of previous coffee (spots), waitress was filling bottles with half of ketchup using already opened and partially used other bottles. Not very pleasant impression. But staff, starting from waitresses and ending on the owner, absolutely amazing listening to clients' wishes and flexible. Half portions available. Prices? Acceptable but leaning toward higher side considering quality and amount Atmosphere similar to busy fast food: lack of any Italian climat- one of the many. Despite disappointment I'm going to come back in hope it was just unlackwhen looking how busy the place was during our visit. Must be something therewhat I haven't found here.

Great atmosphere and good food at a decent price

Top class cafe food. Great service nice relaxed atmosphere. I had the half chicken chips and salad as a main and a super knickerbocker glory for dessert both were to die for. We will return here.
