Great wee gem in Bridge of Allan. Great coffee and great food.

Total gem of a local cafe! 💎🇮🇹 Coffee is excellent. Pizza/bruschetta/filled rolls are damn good. Staff super friendly and welcoming. My only wish would be that they open later in the evening, because we would totally come by for dinner and I’m sure lots of others would too! I know they offer part-baked pizzas to cook at home which is a great idea. Anyway, lucky to have this brilliant place in the village and would highly recommend to all!

Great coffee and selection of pastries/sandwiches/pastas and salad: always have fast and friendly service. And dog friendly which is ideal for a hot drink mod dog walk!

The finest Italian coffee shop in the country, by some way. The epitome of a genuine Italian coffee shop/food experience, great coffee, pasta, pizza. gelato, cannolis, pastries, bacon rolls (extraordinary), deli. An amazing bustling atmosphere in mornings eases into a great wee meeting spot for a catch up and people watch. Been coming here everyday for years, for good reason. 10/10. Johnny

Ciao is a great asset to Bridge of Allan. They serve a wide range of Italian lunch bits and bobs. Nice baguettes, pizzas, tiramisu, amazing cakes… their brownies are to die for!!! Love the cannolis too! It’s just a lovely snug little takeaway cafe. Not much seating inside because of it being a fast paced takeaway place. Staff have always always been so lovely. They really go the extra mile with their customer service - each time I go they’re super nice and kind. They used to be open later till 8pm for dinner and pizza orders - this was really handy but has since stopped. So it shuts at 4pm. This is a bummer but I understand it’s probably to allow their staff a break and a life because it was always super busy at nights! Really recommend going there if you’re in the area!!

We love this place. We drive from Rosyth at least twice a month for a pastry box, the Cannoli are delicious & we've just had their Lasagne....it's gorgeous 😍 They have a lovely range of Italian foods to try & the staff are absolutely lovely. 100% recommended 😊

My friend and I visited today for a quick lunch Pepperoni pizza was just lovely Service was exceptional quick and really friendly. Nice vibe to the restaurant! Will definitely return when I’m next in Bridge of Allan !

Delicious Caesar salad, kids has 1/2 pizzas ans partner had vegetarian panini. Rounded off with lovely cannolis.

What a charming place. Product, staff, ambience all great. We were in and out in the quickest time with our picnic which we enjoyed by the river. So friendly, great coffee and good value. It's obvious why this place is buzzing ❤️

Great coffee, lovely fresh pizza and the counter staff fantastic. I did however witness the chef/possible owner/little bully speak to a member of the staff in a manner in which I’ve not witnessed for years. He was instructing her on how to arrange the food but quite frankly his manner was intimidating, aggressive in nature and was swearing. Shall not be back as no staff should be treated this way and I hope the young lady moves in quickly to bigger & better things.

Insanely good. Everything from the food to the atmosphere is great! They do the BEST pizza, all sorts of pasta, lasagne (incredible lasagne…), around 5-7 different filled baguettes (one very good vegan one), bruschetta, pastries, brownies, cannoli, homemade gelato, pasta sauces, and the list goes on! If you’re vegan, they have a convenient menu to the left listing your options. Another aspect I love is that they sell their pizzas part baked as an option, which is great for finishing off in the oven later for dinner or if you have people round. Just ask the staff how to heat or prepare any of their dishes and they are very helpful. Personally never sat in to eat however they have enough space for a fair amount on their high stool seated areas. Very welcoming. You won’t regret your visit. Very happy I’m only a 1 min walk to this Italian gem.

You got to try the salami and gorgonzola baguette, it's amazing!!!

I have nothing bad to say about Ciao. The family who run it are great, all the staff are lovely, and all the foods and drinks are delicious (I'm trying my way through the menu slowly and nothing has been bad yet!)

Has to be one of the best little carafes I’ve had in a long time. I spent most of my lunch breaks at ciao. Everything I’ve had is outstanding. Especially there brownies and Nutella hot chocolate that is to dye for. Highly recommend

We came here after having an unpleasant experience at another local cafe, and were pleasantly surprised by how good quality everything was. The staff, the service, etc. Incredibly glad we made the switch and decided to visit Ciao. We eat out very rarely, and so this was a nice treat.

I love this place and often drop in on my way to work for a coffee - flat white, always, and honestly it's brilliant. Good value, lovely staff, and quick service. Whats not to love!

A great wee Italian cafe on the main street through Bridge of Allan, very popular with locals and visitors, and also with the cycling fraternity. Great food, ranging from hearty minestrone soup, all kinds of pizzas and a wide range of pastas, to a great choice of coffees, pastries and the cafe's own home made gelato ice cream. Often busy and not a lot of sitting-in space, but that's a sign of its popularity. Fair prices and great quality food. Today I had soup and took away several pasta dishes for my freezer. Also a load of delicious canoli pastries. I certainly recommend Ciao.

Stopped in for a late lunch takeaway, came out with some tasty bruschetta, a bottomless Caesar salad and some Tuscan fennel sausage to make some pasta at home tomorrow. Lovely little spot with tasty and authentic food at reasonable prices, great value

Stopped en route to Glasgow. What a find! Delicious sit in or takeaway Italian ciabattas, Pizzas and bakery items. Great coffees which account for busy trade... and noticed National l coffee shop next door empty.

First time here today and I had a half slice of pepperoni pizza which was honestly fantastic. I ordered a chicken salad for my husband bit unfortunately it has a spider in it. Understand these things happen but would obviously hope all salad is washed before being made.

Best real italian pizza in Stirling area, specifically in Bridge of Allan. You will have no regrets, and not only about the pizzas, their ice-creams are the best, plus other desserts like the brownies. Its a must if you are in the area.

So, although there was a costa next door, we decided to do as they said. The outcome was a ‘cappuccino’ that turned out to be a cup filled to the top with warm milk, no froth element whatsoever, plus a barely discernible taste of coffee. We walked 25m along the other side of the road before depositing both our cups, full, into the bin. My wife likes a weaker coffee than me but she had to bin it. So £5 charity to the local purveyor and lets hope they use it to train the staff to the same level os those lowly national chains.

Amazing little gem of a place! Fresh homemade Italian based food, great service, great desserts. Have been twice now and honestly cannot complain about a thing.

Fantastic Italian ice cream with lots of interesting flavours to choose from, including a delicious fig and mascarpone and a sumptuous crema (slightly lemony). Quality decaf coffee too.

Excellent coffee and ice cream in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our very specific requirements (decaffeinated coffee & hot oat milk) were no problem and the ice creams were generously portioned, served in proper waffle cones, and delicious. Stand out flavours were “crema” (vanilla custard made with eggs and a slight tang of lemon), fig & mascarpone and Colombian chocolate. Very highly recommended - we will definitely be back.

Long overdue review of Ciao. So friendly and truly Italian - run by a Italian Scottish family who are passionate about their business. The food is delicious. And not pricey. This is probably the most authentic piece of Italy in the Stirling area. Once you’ve tasted what a pizza should really taste like, you’ll not go anywhere else. They have delicious naturally gluten free brownies (white chocolate & pistachio; choc & orange) alongside the others; amazing homemade Italian bakery items, and genuine Italian gelato - a wonderful alternative to ice cream. Most of it is naturally gluten free, and it is in great flavours like Nutella, Tiramisu (not gf), as well as vanilla, and strawberry (which can be made into dairy or coconut milkshakes. Yum). They are so friendly towards their customers. It’s a pleasure, always, to visit this place. Great for take out. And some bar chairs at a long high table by the window, to sit on during the day for a tasty coffee, or a home made Italian lunch of salad, meats, pasta, pizza slices warmed up etc.

Saturday trip to Ciao following a hike with my partner and his 2 daughters. I said to them after that I thought the pizza was easily the tastiest I had ever had in UK and rivalled many I've had in Italy! Truly delicious. The staff were on an absolute roll-it was super busy and they were professional, polite and speedy-the whole experience was fab. Oh...and of course the brownies are to die for. This trip made our Easter (much better than chocolate!!)

This is very late - so apologies! On valentines day I was struggling to make anything exciting (Covid) and I thought why not try and get a heart-shaped pizza from her favourite pizza place! I called for it to be picked up 30 minutes before closing. I was so surprised and happy to open my box to an actual heart pizza; I thought they would have been too busy and I said no worries if not, the pizza is good enough on its own. Ps, staff are so lovely and polite Thank you CIAO :)

Have tried to order on Just Eat several times, Ciao always decline the order after it's been placed. It's a waste of everyone's time being on the app if you have to decline such a high proportion of deliveries. Can't review on Just Eat as have never managed to place an order!

Throughout lockdown Marco and the team have been fantastic, and continue to be! When all you can do is walk the dog and look forward to a good coffee this is the place to walk to! Great food for takeaway also. Pizzas are a must! Especially diavolo and the pastries which are all made on site are to die for! There was a cinnamon bombelino the other week which blew my mind! Support local, shop local!

I'm an Italian from Sicily and also a chef and I highly recommend this place for a true Italian food experience! Best place to have Italian food in Scotland in my opinion!

Pizza is thinner than a piece of paper almost no cheese on it. Was cold within 2 minutes. Pasta was terrible cold and dripping with oil. Will never be back.

Fantastic pizza, coffee with brownie and topped with Ice cream. Everthing was delicious and owner and staff are lovely. What topped this off is that we had an old voucher for their restaurant Bologna and they honoured this which was very very nice. Certainly will be back as we are locals.

En general, me decepcionó bastante mi experiencia con la CIAO después de escuchar grandes cosas. El hombre que me atendía ni siquiera me miró mientras me servía y respondía mis preguntas y continuaba conversando con un colega. Pensé que reconocer al cliente es el primer paso de cualquier buena práctica de servicio al cliente. Mientras que el cannoli que pedí estaba muy sabroso, la pizza que pedí tenía un largo cabello castaño incrustado dentro. . . ¡qué asco!

Las pizzas estaban al siguiente nivel, no encontrarás una pizza dentro de Escocia que sea mejor. Base de pizza tradicional italiana con una magnífica selección de ingredientes cocinados por un verdadero italiano, el hombre principal Marko. ¡No podría ser más italiano incluso si le rociaras parmesano! ! ! A menudo vamos a Caio en un día soleado también para tomar un café. Gran selección de deliciosos cafés, sándwiches o ensaladas. Siéntese en o junto al río Allan para disfrutar de excelentes vistas. ¡Caio por ahora Adam! ! !

Probably the best pizza 🍕 we have ever eaten. A total contrast from Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc. Good value too.

We are pizza fans... now that Mimmos in Callander is no more we needed a proper Italian pizza. We have found it here. One of the best pizzas we have ever had, and very well priced.

Ciao offer the nicest coffee in the area, in my opinion. They also serve fresh pizzas and homemade gelato, both of which are lovely. The service is always efficient, and the staff friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The coffee here is one of the best I could find in the Bridge of Allan, My favourite is Nutella Hot Chocolate with Cream The snacks are delicious as well and above all the staff is very good and friendly

Regularly stop in for pastries, coffee and lunch. Food is always amazing! Always greeted with a smile. Recommend the fig gelato!

El café es delicioso, y siempre están felices de aceptar cafés exigentes, bebedores como yo (ni demasiado caliente, ni demasiado frío, ni demasiado lechoso, no es un problema). Deliciosos pasteles recién hechos: opte por el croissant de nutella. No te arrepentirás. Cannolis y toques de chocolate también son impresionantes.La oferta de tocino y café para 4 habla por sí sola. Usan mantequilla (no marge barata como greggs) y deliciosos panecillos frescos. Probé las pizzas por primera vez esta noche y fueron fantásticas. Hermosa masa italiana ligera, coberturas clásicas y no demasiado dura para el saldo bancario.

Food and coffee look excellent. Unfortunately a large sign (over a metre square) says if you have an allergy DO NOT eat our food. A terrible attitude but in line with other reviewers (who I assume did not have an allergy)

Been to Ciao several times and tried a range of the products. Always been extremely good and can't recommend them enough!

Pide pizza por un tiempo fijo. Llega a tiempo y me haces esperar 20 minutos fuera de la tienda ladrando órdenes después de haber pagado. Luego sal y pregunta por qué estoy esperando solo para regresar 1 minuto después con pizzas tibias y (imperdonablemente) sin disculpas. Lo siento, pero has perdido tu oportunidad y has vuelto a Dominos (y sus pizzas son mejores en mi humilde opinión). ¿Quizás aprender servicio al cliente? ? ?

Compré un grupo en oferta y usé esto y me informaron que no lo aceptarían aunque mi cupón no había vencido y yo estaba de visita en los horarios especificados en el cupón. Según el grosero miembro del personal, habían intentado ponerse en contacto con el grupo y el trato se había extendido. Siento que esto es solo aprovechar la situación actual con la mayoría de los cafés / restaurantes cerrados. Terminé comprando pizzas que costaban 21 además del grupo de 10 en el cupón. La pizza estaba bien y prefiero apoyar a las empresas locales, pero me ha impedido volver. Quizás mejorar la forma en que el personal habla con sus clientes sería un comienzo.

First visit was told they were too busy and I should phone to book take always- refused me a pizza. Second time tried and tried to call but they did not answer . Turned up and was told I should have phones first. When I questioned it they said they were too busy to answer a phone - what am I supposed to do to get a pizza then ? Third time - was made feel bad for trying to use a Groupon. Last time they refused to take my Groupon despite still happily selling them. Not very friendly about it either.

Nutella hot chocolate is the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my life. I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s life changing but it’s certainly life affirming.

My wife and I visited this fabulous cafe after walking nearby. One of the things that attracted us here was it is dog friendly! We had 2 pizzas to share and they were delicious. Having visited Italy numerous times I can honestly say these pizzas are on par with the best over there. Fresh ingredients and homemade dough make them authentic. We followed our pizzas with 2 cannolis which were delicious and the perfect dessert. I agree with other reviews in asking why they don't get a bigger place! We loved everything about the place from the Italian radio playing to the truly authentic food. We will definitely return!
