We picked Aangan due to proximity to the train station, and were so happy we did! Such friendly people, and delicious food in generous portions. All was piping hot and well spiced. We ordered a chicken korma combo, plus a side of saag.

What a hidden gem, the restaurant is hidden away up a flight of stairs. lovely Indian food with lots of specialitys that you dont often find elsewhere, our waiter recommend the railway curry to my partner and it didn't disappoint.

Delivery was a bit late but the driver was extremely apologetic and clearly had been doing his best to get there on time, seemingly working alone.

The order was quite substantial but came with a rice missing and starters were lukewarm.

Hello. I just wanted to say thank you for such a prompt delivery. When the driver arrived, he had said about a £3 delivery charge. I am convinced I had added it and there seemed to be some confusion. The driver was very accommodating and I couldn’t praise him enough. Thanks again.

My husband and I went with an Indian friend on Saturday. He highly recommended it He was not wrong. The food was amazing. We kept away from traditional Tandoori, Briyani and the usual choices. We had Daal makhaai. Lamb Palak. Paneer. People need to explore. For desert we had gulab jamum. That was so sweet and lovely The service was brilliant. Even though they were short staffed The final bill was shocking low The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly We will definitely recommend and go back. Thank you to all the staff

As ever, great food and, despite us being a 25-minute drive away, it was delivered within a minute of the estimated time. The dopiaza was amazing, the masala was great and the peshwari naan is one of the best. Each of the dishes was packed with chicken so we had leftovers after two meals from it!

Fantastic quality food and service.

This is the best Indian I have had in years! Every element of the meal was fantastic from the pakora to the chicken bhuna. I would recommended to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Pasandas and korma were average at best, traditional curry was almost pure water with zero taste, tikka masala tasted more like a piece of chewing gum, nans were soggy, poor show for an £80 order if I'm honest.

This was our first takeaway from Angaan in a *very* long time, but having eaten it, I don’t know why we left it so long! Delivery was a bit later than hoped (but this was mentioned in the confirmation email), but the food was excellent and really hot too. We will certainly be making a return sooner rather than later.

We visited this gem on a family holiday. It was without a doubt some of the best Indian we have ever had, especially the buttered naans! The service was excellent and the atmosphere welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

Pre ordered for 8 00 at 8 00. I got a message saying it was on its way. At 8 30 I messaged the restaurant no reply l phoned them and they said it was on its way it finally arrived at 8 45 after being on the road for 45 minutes needless to say it was cold starter was inedible but mains were good after microwaving All in all not great

Food was unreal! Definitely be back! Only 4/5 for collection as App said food was ready but it's wasn't, however, it was only a few minutes wait😊

This meal was excellent. A Good price and great flavour. The Balti curry was great and the pakora sampler was very good. But by far the best thing was the garlic and coriander naan. I highly recommend and you should definitely try it when you're there!

Food was excellent as were staff.. We had chettinad chicken curry as a meal for one. It was lovely not too Spicy. Generous portions was enough for myself & my husband. We will certainly be back. Highly recommend this Restaurant

Food was delicious. However, delivery was 1 hour 45 min on a Thursday night.

Ordered a takeaway from here while we were staying nearby. Despite the positive reviews on here, and other platforms, I have to say this is the worst curry I have ever tasted - in saying that, we ordered pakora to start and it was decent - on a par with the best places we’ve eaten from. Rice, also fine - no complaints there. Naan and poppadoms, also decent - no complaints there. But the curries… oh dear… The South Indian Garlic Chilli is not spicy at all, and there was an underlying flavour of burnt garlic. That was not the worst of the dishes though… the madras was just awful. We intended to share both, and neither could eat the madras. I hope the overpowering flavour of salt was down to the choice of chillies (maybe they’d run out of ghost chillies and used jalapeños instead?) but it felt like the spice they’d created came from overuse of black pepper and insane quantities of salt. It was categorically the worst madras I have ever tasted - and madras is my go-to. I cannot recommend this place at all - they got such a popular dish so wrong, I’d hate to think what the rest of the menu is like.

The food was amazing, and so was the customer service from delivery staff. Food was cooked perfectly apart from the naan, in my opinion, wouldn't say it ruined the meal as it still tastes great, but personally I'd like it a bit more soft, but 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be ordering again.

Not one that I would recommend. We ordered a set meal for one and another main meal and Rice! All I can say is that the best part of the meal were the three sauces that came with the poppadoms for the set meal! Sorry won’t recommend this!

Ordered the ‘meal for 1’ takeaway tonight. The food was delicious- plenty of tasty tikka chicken and fresh vegetables in the curry & fresh and tasty vegetable pakora. Really enjoyed it. With the naan bread, popadom, dips and extra rice there was plenty for 2 people. Excellent value.

We were staying on a nearby campsite and decided on some takeout rather than eating out. The food was superb! Really tasty and more than enough for two. We had the Aangan’s special curry and Punjabi Lamb Palak. Fast delivery and no problem delivering on-site. Would definitely recommend!

Friday night takeaway as always could not fault. Very easy to order online and choose a time that suits for pickup (delivery also an option). We have ordered multiple times and the food is always hot, large portions and freshly cooked. Staff always friendly and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the greatest Biriyani we have had for some time. It is really good , and the vegetable curry was lovely. This restaurant feels likes proper home cooked food and it comes really quickly. Excellent - we use it quite a bit for take away. The wife is coeliac and vegetarian so this food is ideal , and the Bhaji and Pakora are really crispy and feel like whoever makes it knows what she/he is doing. Dont want to be sexist , but I feel this is cooked by my grandmother in the family kitchen.

Terrible service. Ordered at 7pm. Phoned after an hour (8pm) they said it was on the way. Food arrived at 9pm. Unacceptable. Tried to get refund through just eat but nothing. Food was cold. Driver was really apologetic, understand its not the drivers fault, but do not recommend and will not order from here again

It's been a long time since I went to a curryhouse and tasted new flavours. Every dish here had nice flavours I hadn't tasted before. Nice service too. Great experience.
