The best restaurants in Scotland

Ordered the tandoori mixed grill, and it was so tasty! I asked for the curry sauce to be hot rather than the standard medium, and it was lovely. All the meat was well cooked and flavoursome, the rice and bread were great too. I will definitely be back when in the area again. Friendly service too!

Was in today was very quiet yet still.took 20 mins to get a drink .food very poor not restaurant quality wont be back

The food was not delicious, but I’m giving a 5 for the excellent service. Very kind and pleasant waitresses. Also nice music.

This is our favourite pub when visiting Largs. They do 1/2 portions on certain menu mains. It was exceptionally busy but they got us a seat within 10 mins. and our order taken very quickly. Highly recommended

The Sunday Roast ws very fatty. The service was slow and the waitress queried why we didn’t want to pay an inclusive 10% gratuity. On my comment about the slow service she answered that they were very busy. When I told her about the fat on the meat she questioned why I didn’t draw her attention to it when asked if the food was ok earlier ? This led to a rather unpleasant atmosphere after paying the bill failing to apologise for our less than sstisfactory experience or wish us goodbye when leaving. Disappointing also was the Sticky toffee pudding which was more like a syrup sponge and the ice cream was pretty tasteless. Dont think we will be returning in a hurry.

Poppi and Lily were outstanding - very patient with a group of pissed Dads - there is a certain skill to that . Really good food with excellent service - will definitely be back

Good pint, good beer garden, good atmosphere - all-around decent spot. Bit pricey but normal for these parts. Friendly staff, terrible portion size for chips.

Nuestra primera visita después de la renovación, se siente muy claustrofóbico ahora. Parece que la reforma se hizo puramente para abarrotar el mayor número posible de mesas y me compadezco del personal que tiene que apretar para servir bandejas de comida y bebida a los clientes. No es una visita tan agradable como solemos tener. El personal sonriente, amable y servicial como siempre.

Delicious food, great service, well worth a visit especially if you're headed to the theatre after.

Had spa treatments here last month followed by brunch in the drawing room. The service was exceptional, they really were pleasant, kind and attentive. Would highly recommend.

We had dinner here twice because it is very good AND they serve cocktails with dinner. Thus us one of the few places we found that do that.

Comí el queso manchego más increíble, cebolla caramelizada y quiche de tomate seco hoy. Servido con cuscús de coliflor y ensalada lateral. ¡Fue tan sabroso! Gran servicio y pasteles como siempre.
