The best restaurants in Scotland

First time in The Bon Vivant for me and it was perfect. We went for lunch and the menu was enticing. Our son and daughter in law know the place well and pointed us to the small bites. It turned into a VERY long lunch as the small bites kept arriving and we hoovered them up accordingly,with a selection of beers and wines accompanying them. No way could anyone manage a main course after what we got through 😂 Thank you to our attentive waiter and waitress for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Now I'm off to Google to find a fasting regime!

This is a hidden gem in Perth. Beautiful setting, impressive building with attentive, friendly service. The menu had some intriguing specials along with panini, soup and sandwiches all very well presented. Prices as you would expect for this sort of fare. Lunch time booking would be recommended although coffee and cake in the courtyard would be a lovely alternative.

Popped in for a flat white. Lovely coffee and service. Great views.

Went here for dinner multiple evenings when in Troon, absolutely loved the food and would highly recommend

Éramos un grupo muy benigno pero nuestro servidor estaba muy apagado - mano. No sé por qué, posiblemente solo estaba teniendo un mal día. Uno de nuestros invitados no quiso decirle que su pedido de bebidas estaba mal para no causar un mal ambiente en nuestra mesa. Comida bien, pero no volveremos.

The place is lovely, and the good is a Must. And the services was great. It was a wee treat as it's a bit pricy.

They just don't have grappa. Otherwise unreservedly recommended.

Difficult to get a table here as restaurant is small. The restaurant is first class and reasonably priced. Food excellent staff excellent.

Lovely cannoli, nice buzz in the place so we popped in again the next day after the Alloa half marathon for a pizza and another cannoli 😀

The first service person seemed annoyed at something and it certainly came across in our interaction which was a bad start but the second server had a much better temperament and made us feel more welcomed than our initial experience. The shop has lots of interesting foods to buy on the shelves as well as the food from the deli.

Food is amazing, manager Simon is an absolute legend, best customer experience ever.

Great pub! Great drinks, and more whiskey than you could shake a stick at. Nice atmosphere

The food was not delicious, but I’m giving a 5 for the excellent service. Very kind and pleasant waitresses. Also nice music.
