The best restaurants in Scotland

Actually a nice place, especially if the weather allows you to sit outside. Unfortunately, there were a few things during our visit that meant that our conclusion could only be average: The map is clear. You don't really need anything more, but if quite a few things from this clear menu are no longer available more than an hour before the end of opening hours, then there's something wrong with the planning. Plus, at the best time for coffee, a very (!) limited selection of cakes... The service staff were very nice, but rather slow. If half of the tables cannot be used because dishes have been used and not cleared away, then I would recommend questioning the internal processes again.

Food was great got the pulled pork burrito wife got salt chilli chicken chips kids got hotdog if you haven't been you definitely need to try it I usually go to the rigside shop for breakfast burrito on a Saturday great

The drinks menu is creative and extensive. Something for everyone. Our server explained the concept of the menu. The key is to look at hints chart: if you like 'this type of drink' try 'this' here. I chose Cheerful. It blew me away. I am not usually a whiskey fan, but it gave a kick to the champagne and the balsamic gave a depth of flavour unique to what I have ever had before. Definitely worth a stop. The bar is gorgeous.

I never write reviews but me and my husband booked at this little restaurant just over a week ago and all I can say is the food is damn delicious ,so delicious I have been back another 2 times since that. The staff are also so lovely and there to help if needed, music and vibe very chilled.This restaurant is small,only seats 5, so i would advise to book. I have walked past this little restaurant many times, and never knew of the delights inside, this is a must try!!!

Great wee restaurant. We had great coffees and delicious cakes but they also have a good selection of sandwiches salads and soup. Lovely staff. Well worth another visit. Ideal surroundings can eat inside or out.

Booked a table at the Cherry Tree the week before we were to travel to Scotland from Derbyshire. We needed a dog friendly pub which this is. On the day we travelled up, they had to shut the kitchen due to a staff injury, however they honoured our booking.. We’ve just had the best service and a lovely pub meal. The dog was brought her own water bowl too. Couldn’t have been more friendly. Good atmosphere too. Great value for money.

Great food, great staff, great prices

Went to the pub because it advertised food on the website but when we got there, it turns out that they dont do food and havent for a while now. They even have a menu outside. Very disappointed so had a quick drink and left.Update your website.

Had such a brilliant meal here! The owner and staff were really conscientious of my dietary requirements (pregnancy) and had things on hand to swap out for me etc. the food was phenomenal, perfectly seasoned and cooked with some really interesting combinations. Only thing I'd warn is it's not great for veggies.

A lovely place to visit with very friendly, helpful owners. They were very accomodating with food intolerances, and the meals we chose were excellent, good prices too, would recommend to others.

¡Qué maravilloso café! Asegúrate de probar el pastel de cereza Bakewell. Lo mejor que hemos tenido por un kilómetro. El café era muy bueno y realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita.
