One of the best Indian takeaways I've ever had. As a group we had two curry's, a kebab, and a pickle tray. Both curry's were delicious and the pickle tray was good, but the kebab was the highlight, as it actually was seasoned which I can't say you would see at most takeaways, and the Donna meat was really nice, would recommend
Great experience overall. The service was great. The food was great. The manager and staff went all out to make sure my elderly mother was assisted into the restaurant and made comfortable. I will recommend to everyone i know.

Super cute bar in a wonderful part of Edinburgh! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about alcohol and unique drinks. They were very informative and made custom drinks based our individual palettes.
This bar is worth a visit for the the staff alone!
This was booked as a Sunday lunch for six people. Marcus, the host, is excellent and very quick with his Irish humour. We all opted for either the roast beef or roast chicken, which came with all the usual trimmings you would expect. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and Marcus's humour. I would certainly recommend a visit.
What a find! Very welcoming and a friendly atmosphere adds to the experience. The background music was fantastic. Not too loud that it hindered conversation but added to the ambiance. Now for the food…perfect. Good sized portions, good choice on the menu and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be returning
A fantastic brunch today. I had been given an itison voucher for my birthday for 2 brunch dishes and either 2 hot drinks or non alcoholic wine. We opted for an Americano and a tea, fantastic big cups, and an apple juice for my son.
Ordered the Gourie Goucho and the travelling Scotsman for eating and my son insisted on Mac cheese which the kitchen were very accommodating with, even at 10am!
All food was delicious and you can tell the quality in the ingredients as well as the banter.
A fantastic place, where you you wait for quality fresh food.
Brilliant, quirky spot.
The comunity bakery is a must if you are in Dunbar, every time we are in the area we use it, the selection of hot pies/sausage rolls/pasties are very good, the selection of filled rolls is also very good especially the BLT, the service is always done with a smile.
Thank you Dunbar comunity bakery
For traditional home baked pizza this is definitely the place to go, amazing value, and selection of toppings, friendly service, and if you still have room, great selection of home bakes for afters. Well worth a visit.
Love the ice cream but todays service was just bizarre. There was a mix up with my order, then I was given a cone right ice cream wrong type of cone, I asked for the correct cone and watched the server scrape the ice cream from one cone to the correct one then I was passed the correct cone with half a scoop of ice cream. I highlighted this and was told by the owner “well is just give you a refund” now I am not sure if you have kids but the whole reason of our visit was to reward my two for a fantastic parents and a half scoop would have been a bit of an insult. I requested a different flavour which took another 5 minutes, when the owner hand it over he was obviously not pleased. He gave me a look as if to say you got what you want now go away. I asked if I didn’t justify an apology and was told no as he had already offered me a refund. As stated a refund was no use.
I thought this level of service was long since finished, The arrogant proprietor who thinks if people’s aren’t happy then don’t come back.
Maybe get some empathy, it goes a long way.
We went here for an impromptu lunch today. We both had fish and chips. I'm not a chip fan so asked for a jacket potato with butter and this was not a problem. The battered fish was the best we've tasted in recent times. Beautiful and sparkling fresh with gorgeous big flakes. The owner told us it had only been delivered at 12 noon and it showed. The jacket potato was delicious and so were the chips
The tartare sauce was great and so were the mushy peas. Completely flawless. For 2 generous portions and 2 diet cokes it cost £26 and it was worth every penny. We'll be back
