Our first visit to The Marigold cafe and it won’t be our last. It’s a beautiful cosy restaurant and the food was amazing. Full of flavour and the portions were a great size. It’s so nice to be able to have so many gluten free options on a menu. The fact it’s dog friendly is an added bonus. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to return again.

We took a group of 10 German visitors plus friends for the £10 lunch deal. We had given our menu choices in advance, but with such a wide range of choices it took a while to work out who had ordered what. However, it got sorted, the sandwiches were excellent and everyone was very satisfied with their choice. The staff was attentive and, since we were given the dining area all to ourselves, the atmosphere was quite intimate.

We from wales and decided to give this restaurant a try, very nice steaks and every dish was perfectly presented and prepared, even with kids plenty of options Would highly recommend

Gent behind the bar offered great cheese recommendations to go with our glasses of wine, clearly knew his stuff!

Great little hotel in Glencarsie, very close the the Byrne Inchyra wedding venue (5 min walk), perfect if you are attending an event there, as then you don’t have to worry about trying to sort a taxi late night! Rooms were warm, very clean & modern, shower water pressure was great. Breakfast was included and very good! There’s also a bar here, which is great for having a drinks with friends before walking over to the wedding venue. Bus to Edinburgh airport is a 10 min walk away as well, so very convenient location. Absolutely recommend this place!

Outstanding burgers at this place,beers a winner too,and the motivational speech was a winner with me,not sure it sunk in with my two though,but definitely appreciated 👏

We went in for a snack. It's average. It has a large bar and tables and chairs. The portions are satisfying, the prices are reasonable, and the taste is very good.

By far the best choice for dinner in Kirkwall. The lamb curry was one of a kind. Service staff super friendly and great selection of beers and surprising cocktail variety. Make sure to stop by!

Exceptionally nice service! I asked for an ingredient I was allergic to to be removed and instead the entire meal was prepared especially for me.

Service was very slow. We were in for 1.1/2 hours just for soup and pudding and coffee
