Very quaint homely cafe, run by a lovely lady. Very good americanos, we had the carrot cake, which I can highly recommend. All cakes are home made by the owner. A must if in the area.

I love this wee cafe. The cakes are scrumptious and the tea is extra nice because it’s served in vintage china teacups. Ros, the owner is lovely and we always have a good blether when I go there. She even provides water for my dog.

Extremely friendly family run cafe. We had had our lunch previously so just had tea and tray bakes which were really worth the drive to get here. The Malteser tray bake is definitely worth the trip alone. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ clean plates all round

As usual a lovely welcome from Rosalind at this quaint tearoom, this time my husband and I took my mother in law for a light lunch and cakes, with a proper cup of tea. You never feel rushed and its always nice to chat with our hostess who has lots of local information. Jams and Chutneys for sale as well as some hand knitted items. We will be back again. What a find! Such a quaint little cafe, welcoming owner who is more than happy to share stories. Very reasonable prices and servings, delicious homemade cakes and bacon softies that will be spoken about for ages to come. If you have little ones that are getting impatient while waiting there is a play park just behind the cafe :) will definitely be back

This place is a little gem. Small but has such a quaint feel to it. It's clean, tidy, the food is simple, delicious and satisfying. This place oozes character, history and is a cosy wee eatery. A must visit if you're in the area and certainly worth going a little out of your way if not. Five Star.

Visited today with my 87 year old mum and 86 year old aunt. Was welcomed by Ros and customers already there Everything freshly made with lots of conversation so not as quick as some people may like BUT that’s the very thing that makes it special. Felt like we were having lunch in Ros house, so friendly, excellent food at amazing prices. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped here for snack lunch. Not very big 16 seats but close together. So we sat down looked at Menu of Sandwiches/Toasties/Bacon roll and various eggs on toast and Drinks [5-7 different teas]. We ordered 2 Ham and Cheese Toasties & a Tuna mayo sandwich with chioce of side salad or crisps [we went with crisps] and to drink a pot of tea for 2 and small glass of milk for around £12 can't remember the right price. Also on offer for sale Jams etc Paintings Knitting etc.

Dusty can of coke. Had something awful in my tea once. Grandchildren sit there while off school sick with god knows what. It more like granny nursery than a cool coffee shop. She argued with me that it did not matter that I had been sold black mould on butter - really? You would have thought she senile as she in the food industry????

The tea room is not well signposted but is found next to the Macbeth hotel in Lumphanan. The lady has ran the shop for years and always gives a warm welcome. The tea shop is excellent for a cup of tea or coffee and a lovely home bake.

like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Watched as a child was dragged out one Sunday by an awful woman - as some people were deemed unsuitable to be around , i think.. OK I watched too much tv and films over the festive break. Nice coffee and £2.00

Very good low prices £1 for mug of tea. £2.20 for egg sandwich. Ros (owner) was watching her grandchildren do homework when we were in. Council pay her to let public use her toilet but she friend/lyhelpfull and would not wish people not to use her toilet if they were in need

My two friends Annita and Bill, introduced me to this lovely tea room.THe 3 of us love visiting Roz for tea and the best ever toasties you could taste.Annita loves the bone china crockery, tea tastes better from a china cup. We all agree that Roz is very friendly and welcoming. While waiting for our tea etc.we enjoy reading the local church magazine and other reading materials.Bill gets treated to a jar of the locally made jam, very tasty indeed. There is lots of local information about walks etc.Our greatest delight is when Roz comes to our table with the special toasties and salad.Oh what a super treat, you really must pop in and meet this lovely, charming lady whose aim is to please.God bless you Roz,keep up the good work ,you are so precious!!!

I was passing through and had no idea there was a tea room in Lumphanan, so I thought it would be worth a try. It was mid afternoon and I was the only customer at the time. The owner seemed a little bit distracted and soon went off to collect her son from school, leaving her father sitting at a table. I had tea and millionaire's shortbread, which I have to say was alright but not the best I've ever had. I would have to give this one an average review.

A quaint place for quiet cuppa. We called in during a lengthy bike ride for refreshments . A great selection of teas, good coffee and a small but wonderfully delicious selection of "home" baked cakes. Other options were available but they weren't the focus for us. The tea shop was also a great source of local information.

Accidental find and boy I'm glad I did Ros was very welcoming and her baked scones and the Victoris Sponge was obviously made with love. Coffee was good and price wise very reasonable. Will be back for sure. I went here with my sister and she also loved it. This is my first trip back to Scotland from Australia in 28 years and this has been a highlight.

We were visiting Craigievar Castle when I asked the tour guide there for a recommendation for somewhere to stop in for a cup of tea. She suggested the Meet Again Tea Room, so we headed there. When we entered, it was obvious that the place must have been busy as our table needed to be cleaned, but we didn't mind waiting as there was only one person running the place, and there were other customers in front of us. This must be a popular place because the Scones were gone and she had just sold her last piece of Victorian Sponge. So, we opted for the lemon drizzle, which melted in our mouths. Fabulous! The proprietor was welcoming. We had to wait until she finished making a toastie for one customer, and delivered tea and cakes to another, but, honestly, why be in a hurry when you are on vacation? We found the woman running the place to be delightful! This is probably one of our best memories from our trip. I highly recommend stopping in !

Brilliant tea room just off the main road in Lumphanan. Home-made scones and cakes, excellent coffee and/or speciality teas. Pots of home-made local jams for sale. Very warm welcome from the owner - Ros Buckingham. We recommend visitors try the local rambles devised by Ken (Ros's husband) which take in local sites of historic interest. Its a very good stopping off place before/after visiting local castles (many of which lack refreshments). Strongly recommended
