One of the best cafes in Inverurie. Regularly visit for coffee and cake or a snack lunch . Lots on offer is home made. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous coffee shop…the best in Inverurie. The homemade scone was outstanding and the coffee was the best I’ve had in a while. The service was also excellent and it has a lovely ambiance. Worth tracking this coffeeshop down on Platform 1 of Inverurie railway station even if you are not catching a train

The worst cafe in Aberdeenshire since they just provide tap water only for people who buy their food; tap water is basic human rights to survive.

This was a great find. Had an amazing scone and chai tea latte. Definitely recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Scones are great but came served on tray with tea pot but no plate. Very small, cramped cafe on the train platform. Prices a bit higher than average.

Went here with friends for coffee, tea and cakes. Everything we had was lovely and served by friendly staff. We sat inside which was nice and relaxing with nice music playing in the background. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

The food (well the muffin I had) and coffee was good, albeit £6.50 but my low score here is for service. Not sure if the lady was having a bad day but she was pretty rude to me when I went in. I turned up at 9.35 and was advised they were not open yet (even the door said 'open') and she said she could only offer takeaway coffee. "Yes thanks, but can I use home bathroom whilst you make it?" "Yes ok", she said. Without graphic detail, I was in the loo a bit longer than normal and eventually someone came to get in, which given what followed was presumably her checking I was still here and not left. After feeling rushed to get out, she then looked rather irked at me about how long I'd been in there (not entirely sure what harm it was doing her and she didn't rush in to the loo after so she wasn't obviously desperate herself nor was there anyone else in the shop). She then made a dig about how long I'd been in there which seemed quite unnecessary and just generally I was given the impression I'd done something really wrong and was annoying her. I then asked for a muffin which she gave me with a face like death and then I asked for sugar for my coffee, which it hadn't occurred to her to offer as part of my expensive and rather small coffee. And that's another thing, when you ask for a large cappuccino, one would assume it would be so or you would be informed they only do one size but she didn't feel the need to advise me as such. It's a nice coffee but can't tell if there is a double shot in there but some clarification would have been nice although given how upset she was that I used her toilet for so long, God only knows how upset me challenging the drink size would have made her. Living in Aberdeen, frankly I'm well used to poor service and being made to feel like merely wanting to buy something is a massive inconvenience for staff, so this was nothing new. I just didn't like ger attitude and it undermined what seems like a lovely looking wee coffee shop and my initial positive vibe on going in.

Visited Cocoworks, Inverurie Station on Tuesday 23rd May on my annual 3 day Grampian & Highland railtour from Edinburgh via Aberdeen, Inverurie, Keith, Inverness & Stirling. Cocoworks was the best food and drink experience found at any of the railway stations. Fabulous food, friendly service whilst sitting in the sun on the station platform at Inverurie....great!

What a delightful little spot! Was here with my girlfriend yesterday the food was very good the panini and salad very tasty finished up with coffee and cakes run by two nice ladies.

Nice chicken toastie with cheese and apple/brandy chutney. Nice to have something a bit different than the norm. Also bad a coffee and scone which were great too. Busy wee place and the 2 ladies did a great job of managing this.

An intimate and bijou cafe located on concourse of railway station with railway themed artefacts harking back to a bygone era. A good varied menu however, nothing badged as vegan or vegetarian 🌱 friendly for me and whilst showing me the ingredients list useful, much easier if the universal V or Ve symbols used to badge menu items: a journey that I would recommend taking to get me fully on board! My wife, who thinks she’s the ‘Station Manager’ and not V or Ve said “ we’ll come back here.” 🚂

Nice and cosey Coffee bar at the station. Lovely service and delicious paninis and sandwiches. Our little dog was also welkom.

Just caught them before they closed 1/4to 4 still got a friendly welcome first time nice place good atmosphere we ordered the millionaire,s cappuccino and Easter egg traybake boy was that rich had my sugar intake for the day lovely though the lady that served us was very nice we certainly will be going back earlier next time!!

Bit of a last minute decision but we decided to pop in past for lunch and thankfully it was quiet so we managed to get a table no bother. We both had a panini and they were delicious, I also had a nice ginger beer and my wife a tea. Lovely pleasant staff too. Highly recommended,

A beautiful wee café, expect a cosy train station vibe, friendly staff and food and drinks are served on wooden platters which I thought was a nice touch. They offer food and drink to go too if you're in a hurry..there's seating inside and out ,plus a W.C. inside. Would highly recommend.

Stopped off in Inverurie today. Nice enough place but if you're looking to find a good old fashioned cafe rather than one of these places selling tofu coffees & avocado sandwiches...you'll be lucky. We did eventually find Cocoworks at the railway station though. Lovely place, clean, great food ( toasties, bacon rolls, soup, cakes etc) friendly staff & great atmosphere...what more can you ask. And not an 🥑 in sight! 🤫

Perfect! My amazing partner and I found this wonderful place and so glad we did! Fantastic, different tasting latte. My partner had yummy fruit tea We both had Bacon Rolls, mine with chili jam. Way good value for money brownies, muffins and excellent weekly specials. Staff friendly and ever so efficient. They even maintain a groovy railway vibe. I am falling to describe how awesome this place is. Remember very doggy friendly, love this place.

Really lovely cafe latte and home made scone, beautifully presented with butter and jam served in tiny cups. Rather expensive though at £6 for coffee and a scone. But delicious.

Friendly staff, very helpful and on top with their covid discipline. Coffee is Caber, my favourite and whilst there the owner had arrived with freshly baked goodies. All in, a very nice place to go.

We always choose to go here for coffee and cake or lunch when in Inverurie. Excellent service good food and lovely coffee. Speedy take away if you’re getting a train too. Always good to support these local businesses that managed to keep going during lockdown.

Sat at an outside table (inside tables available too) on the station platform and enjoyed lovely cappuccino and ginger cake! Staff lovely and great for a wee relax!

A great little cafe which is also dog friendly. Went in everyday with my dog while in Inverurie for a few day. The orange sponge is the best I’ve ever tasted. Lovely friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Always guaranteed a good service here. You can pick up a coffee to go when you’re taking the train or meet a friend for coffee and cake or enjoy a hearty lunch. Best in town.

Lovely little coffee shop with one amazing cup of hot chocolate. I will say it's a tad over priced but I understand it 'artisanal'. Would also get put extra spready on bacon roll as is a little dry. The lady that served me was lovely, really trying to give customers the best experience. Perfect for when you just get of the train!

The coffee shop was very understanding we were sitting outside and the staff came out and asked her to come inside because my wife was disabled she was in a wheelchair my wife did not want to go in but they insisted that she goes out the coat and it's very much appreciated thank you very much for your hospitality we really appreciated

Ordinary, plain and slow service. A pity as the building itself is quite atmospheric. Probably would be better if staff had their own lunch out of sight of customers who are sitting around waiting for someone to take their order. Probably ok for coffee though but personally won't be going back.

This place makes train from Inverurie much better. Take coffee on to train or sit in better than chilly waiting room. Well done.

Thought I would try this place due to its very good reviews. Wasnt disappointed and will certainly be back. Bacon bagel was a bit dry (should have had the cream cheese with it) but was tasty nontheless. Loads of bacon in the bagel. Washed down...

Fantastic spot for lunch with great background music. The carrot and coriander soup was delicious, as was the bacon and brie panini.

A return visit to this wee gem at Inverurie Train Station; having lunched there once before. A cheery welcome from the over-worked chief cook and bottlewasher. It was really busy but the wait was worth it for a top-notch bagel and bacon plus a cuppa...

I decided to have a coffee waiting for my train to Aberdeen. From the beginning to the end the staff were friendly and approachable, and my coffee and raspberry scone amazing. The atmosphere was good and the prices even better, around £4.50 for a large coffee and super scone.

Visited here a few times in the last week or so and found it very welcoming. Large mug of coffee with superb fresh bacon rolls. The bacon bagel is large enough for two. All in all it would take some beating to better the value for money.

I have always liked this café. I went there today, 27th April, and decided to order a croissant. That was the best croissant outwith France I have ever tasted. While enjoying this mouthful of beauty, I took in the wonderful menu - Bagels WOW! Home Made Soup WOW! Sandwiches, Wraps, Paninis, none of which were boring or twee! This of course will now have to become my local watering place! What lovely people!!!!!

What a lovely cafe! Especially considering it’s at a train station. Delighted to spend an hour here waiting for our connecting train. The tea is served on a fancy tray what even comes with an hour glass timer so you know when to pour. Would recommend!

Nice enough cafe, handy for a coffee and sandwich if you are waiting for a train. The staff are pleasant and the food is well presented. The seating area is quite cramped. It is a small room which is more than half taken up wth big chairs on one side of the room. They could do with smaller chairs for that size of room.

On a wet grey November day this was the perfect place to have lunch. The soup was home-made, hot and delicious accompanied by great bread. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming (&warm;). Didn’t have time for cake but they looked amazing.

The food was absolutely delicious and the luxury hot chocolate was the best I’ve ever had! This cafe has a lovely feel to it with very friendly staff. A must visit!
