The best place ever! We had an issue with data and the phone didn't work ( problem with different country numbers) and couldn't take the order, but the kitchen chef made it for free. 🫶 Food is Great! Love it.

Found this place after a morning of fishing and so glad we did! Great takeaway set up, super friendly service, cakes clearly made with passion, they were to die for! We couldn’t decide which to buy so bought all 4! Was going to save two for later, but they were too good to keep, so ate all 4 with a lush cuppa overlooking the sea - mmmmm delicious! Thank you for sharing a little slice of happiness with us!

Unexpectedly good strong coffee at the Ardmhor ferry terminal on Barra. The sausage and Stornoway black pudding rolls were stuffed full and encased in the lightest flakiest pastry. In addition there was a good selection of cakes. There is an outdoor deck overlooking the Sound of Barra. A hidden gem and definitely worth arriving early for your ferry to Eriskay.

Great stop and wonderful offerings. The clerk went out of his way to take care of us. We loved the ice cream and the cannoli. Don't hesitate to ask for the waffles

Love this place. Astoundingly good patisserie, great coffee, warm and friendly staff. I usually just pick up cakes to take away, but I had lunch here today - the freshly made lamb shawarma wrap with hummus was delicious with well balanced flavours

A quick stop off after our tour at the centre. Our wee boy enjoyed his pop dots with chocolate sauce. All OK but not as good as Aviemore. I was queuing at the till point and then people who came along after me got served first, at the ice cream counter. If there is a clear way to queue please put a sign up!

A very good latte and easy to get to via window on outside of station. Friendly service and no issues with order.

Tucked away on Orbiston Street (behind Windmillhill Street) this is a cafe you could easily miss but well it's worth seeking it out. Parking is available and there's an outside seating area for those sunny Motherwell days. Run by Hope United Church, this welcoming, family friendly cafe space serves excellent freshly prepared food (paninis, wraps, baked potatoes, Scottish breakfasts, home made soup) and some of the best coffee in Motherwell. The only downside is... it's currently only open on Fridays and Saturdays. A great spot for an end of week treat.

THE BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had. Okonomiyaki on the menu which I’ve not seen on menus anywhere outside of Japan so far. They do huge pizzas too which look delicious. Fun and relaxed place to hang out. Good and drinks CHEAP drinks menu. Really interesting looking cocktails I’ve not seen before. I’m looking forwards to coming back. Every so often I like to treat myself to a little meal on my own. Nice to sit in the corner watching Naruto. I noticed families eating there as well as some other solo customers who sat at the bar, the staff were all cheerful and friendly without exception. Seems like a cool place to hang. The vibes were immaculate. They also cater to veggies. I’ve been searching high and low for a Japanese/chicken place. Really authentic food, lovely atmosphere, huge portions and unbelievably good prices. It’s well worth the minuscule 2 minute walk away from the main drag where the restaurants are all either over priced and/or quite shoddy. Visited the cafe for an imformal meeting with friends. I was really impressed by the furntiture, fittings and decor. Warm welcome from staff. Excellent bacon roll with coleslaw & salad on the side and great coffee. A gem of a cafe in St Clair Street. We will be back again.

La comida en Sen Viet Vegan fue con mucho la mejor comida que hemos comido en cualquier restaurante, nunca. Casi lloro lágrimas felices por los hermosos sabores. Recomiendo encarecidamente el picante pho - fenomenal! Personal encantador y cálida bienvenida también : ) una joya absoluta de un lugar y no puedo esperar a volver cuando visite Edimburgo.

Phoned up last minute for a burger & cake. Station bistro did not disappoint 🤤 I got a chicken burger with halloumi, bacon with slaw & maple syrup with sesame seeds for on my burger. The bun was toasted just the right amount, chicken was cooked too perfection.. Bacon was just the right amount of crisp and the halloumi was also fab (usually halloumi can be a hit or miss and quite rubbery anywhere else) but I would highly recommend getting it on your burger. I have a very sweet tooth and the biscoff brownie hit the spot. The staff are so lovely aswell. Will 110% be back ❤️

If I lived in Nairn, this would be my go-to café every day. The freshly made food is extremely tasty and the selection is extensive. The naturally endearing charisma of the owner, and her staff, add an extra satisfying portion of decadent spice. High streets everywhere need a place like this..
