Best nachos in town and the girl on the desk has amazing customer service. She is supper chatty and cannot do enough for you.

Recently left a dissatisfied review for original india due to a delivery I recieved last night . The restaurant kindly called me last night to apologise for the dissapointment with my order , they left a voicemail for me to call them which I did today . I spoke with restaurant owner who very quickly turned my dissatisfied review into an extremely satisfied one . As a customer service manager myself I found their response excellent and quickly resolved the issue . Food is first class in flavour and extremely satisfying . Thanks again Frances

Used this place last night for the first time - superb! Great flavours, good portion sizes. The guy on the front desk, with his grandson, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He suggested we phone ahead next time to save us having to wait. We will certainly use again.

Amazing customer service … went above and beyond for me. I accidentally ordered from Original India Bridge of weir instead of Bearsden. I didn’t notice till my order had been placed n paid for. The guy I spoke to from the takeaway in Bearsden handled it amazingly. He called the other restaurant in paisley on behalf of me trying to get me a refund and got shouted at by the other restaurant. The guy from Bearsden had offered my meal for nothing as I had mixed up take always and the one from Bridge of weir was not offering me a refund. Would highly recommend ORGIGINAL INDIA BEARSDEN ! Also my food was amazing.. always order from here🙏

First visit and the food and service was wonderful. This is one of the best take aways we have ever had. We will definately be back.

Ordered our food just before 6 and never got it until just before 8. When the take away accepted my order they said it would be with me between 6.40 - 7 which was acceptable. What wasn't acceptable was to be lied to by the lady on the phone when I called up to enquire where it was. I never got an update telling me the driver was on his way, however, Just Eat seemed to think it had been delivered. I told the lady this and she didn't really know what to say, then told me the driver hits a button to let me know its on his way. I said I understood this, however, that hadn't happened and it looks like its been delivered. I asked if it had actually left the shop yet to which she hesitated to and said yes. I asked when it left and she said "eh not long ago", again I could tell she was lying. She then told me to call back if it wasn't with me in 5 minutes, this made me laugh. If I hadn't already paid online at the time of order I would've told her to forget it. So sat for another half hour and nothing, then I get a chap at the door and it's my delivery. The driver apologised (I assured him it wasn't his fault, but the service was terrible and I don't like being lied to). He told me there were having a very busy evening which I understood, however, don't mislead people with timings then or most certainly update them! If I had known it was going to be 2 hours I wouldn't have ordered. The food was piping hot which just proved it had just been made and not actually out for delivery like the lady told me! They are clearly looking after customers in their own area and bumping outside areas down the queue?? Who knows........ It's such a shame as we order from here regularly, especially when we have visitors, so always a good order put in, but this has just put us off. Original India have lost good customers.

This is our favourite take away and I have tried nearly everything on the menu now. Really, really good food and the people who work there are very nice and helpful.

I ordered a set meal for 2 and a portion of chicken pakora via Just Eat. This was the first time I have ordered from Original India but will not be the last. My order arrived pretty much when expected, and smelled delicious before I had even unwrapped it. I ordered chicken bhoona and chicken mushroom. Both were delicious. The sauces were thick and tasty. The chicken pakora was also delicious. The pieces were bite-size, as opposed to some of the huge chunks you get elsewhere. Portion sizes were good. Not too little: not too much. Everything arrived piping hot. Would definitely recommend.

My parents were visiting for my birthday & we ordered the set meal for 2 with a few extras (rice, nan & mushrooms). We ordered the chicken bhoona & the chilli chicken. More than enough food to go round. We were all well & truly satisfied. Again fantastic prices & delivery time!

First time ordering. I had a mixed kebab and it was one of the best I've ever had.. Fresh salad.. Pitta on the side.. Excellent. Cheers

Our “new” favourite Indian take away. Found this place about 4/5 months ago. Not a bad word to be said about it. The set meals are terrific value for money. The food is always piping hot and fresh and full of flavour. Portions are also huge. We always get a home delivery and the delivery times are super. We understand just now it is a lot busier but still great delivery times. Our favourite dishes are the bhoona and madras. We sent set meal to my parents house a couple of weeks ago for my mum’s birthday. We sent the set meal for 2 with a bhoona and a dopiaza (which we’ve not tried yet). They absolutely loved it and highly recommended. Defo top on our take out list!

Top class takeaway, we have just recently found this place and it is now our no.1 choice in the area, i can highly recommend the Spicy chicken pizza, Mixed pakora and also The Istanbul Kebab

Having just returned from Goa, we were craving for curry, our usual was closed, so we tried Original India for the 1st time,,,, absolutely 1st class service and the food was to die for can’t wait to return ,,,,,

Had another meal tonight from Original India and have to say service is great and the food fantastic. Great safe service especially at the moment with coronavirus. Saves going out not that I would be. Can't wait to order again which will probably be tomorrow.

My husband and I thought we would have a mid week treat and got an order from here yesterday. 10/10 for us. The food is amazing for the kids they got a mix kebab to share and loved it. We got the lamb biryani (wow delicious) and we also got a chicken tikka South Indian and a lamb bhoona (amazing) best takeaway by far great portions we have some left over for lunch today. Our new local we can’t wait to go through the menu ❤️

Ordered take away last night and it was fantastic. Really fresh tasty meal. Would strongly recommend. Easily the best in area. Will be ordering in the future.

We have eaten from here several times. Everything has been exceptional. They are especially good at vegetarian options. The chef even came out to discuss how I would like my saag paneer. He suggested chopped ginger on top, which really lifted the flavour. The rest of my Family eat meat. My husband especially likes the kebabs. It seems to be run by a family, but the manager Dean is so lovely and friendly. We have lots of take away options in Bearsden, but this place really stands out for me.
