Best local cafe recommendation I have had in a very long time. Lovely atmosphere, extremely welcoming staff, nothing was too much bother and I ask alot of questions about the menu 😆 Quick service to the table, well presented tasty food. Not a morsel left at the end and the stunning array of homebaked sweet treats were irresistible including the best gluten free cake selection around. We will 100% be returning. Thank you for filling my belly whilst warming my heart 💛

Robert and the crew are awesome, awesome service, cakes to die for (I'm diabetic and how never put myself in a coma is a mystery, way too tasty and moreish), coffee tasty and all the other stuff on menu equally good.

This is a fantastic place for an afternoon tea. The quality and quantity of tray bakes, cakes and sandwiches was amazing. We started with a lovely bowl of soup and then had a yummy homemade sausage roll. This was followed by sandwiches, delicious scones and numerous types of cake. This was extremely good value for money and the customer service was absolutely excellent. This is the second time we've had an afternoon tea at Cafe 11 and we'll definitely be back for more. It's unlikely you'll find a better afternoon tea within a 50 mile radius of Tain.

This is a social enterprise cafe that offers training to youngsters who wish to embark on a career in hospitality. The proprietor Robert is well known to me from visits to other restaurants where he was employed previously. A top-class gentleman who I know will make a success of this venture. Cafe 11 is located in Market Street in Tain and has a good range of breakfasts, light lunches, etc. Prices were reasonable, and service was quick and friendly. Recommended

Excellent food. The portions of the snacks are filling. Traybakes could be bigger. Service is good and discrete. Fun atmosphere.

Not only a great cause, training local young people, in catering/hospitality, but the food and service was outstanding! I messaged on FB about our friend's dietary needs Gluten intolerant, Lactose intolerant(Vegan). Nothing was a problem. We arrived to our reserved table( lucky we booked the place was packed!). They remembered which option our friend had chosen from the list offered(but she could request other things and they would sort for her). My partner a Veggie had the lovely Quiche and I already knew what I wanted, one of my favs, the Croq Monsieur. It was all delicious, but my Croc was as good as any I'd ever had! We had a couple of cakes after(all home baked), all washed down with two Oat and one Milk Lates. All served by such friendly, helpful accomodating staff. Being locals, we shall be back.....regularly.

Absolutely amazing, service was brilliant and the food was phenomenal. Definitely recommend! And if you like a good burger then this hidden gem is worth the drop in!

I had soup, cheese scone and a cappuccino. They were all delicious, especially the cheese scone. I would recommend the Cafe (& I’m very picky!).

Been in a few times now and it has always been good. Very tasty soup, a great selection of cakes and lovely coffee. Service with a smile & a big shout out for Robert who oversees it all, we will be back.

A lovely cafe in the quaint town of Tain. No 11 is social enterprise that trains local youngsters in food, business and hospitality. An added bonus for me is their range of yummy GF cakes! (And GF bread rolls for my egg and bacon. Definitely worth a visit!
