Worst pizza I have ever had. Poor flavor and overall quite bland. The staff was nice enough, but didn't make up for the pizza just being terrible and undercooked. The salad was good, great dressing. Too many other good places in the area to waste your time and money here.

Decent pizza. Got the greek style. Had to wait around 30 min to get a table.

Welcomed as entered by very friendly front of house, answered a question on a food intolerance and was shown to a table. Took order for drinks and food and didn't have long to wait. Very friendly staff, great food, well priced. Recommended.

The pizza was very good. The service was quiet fast. I guess that the personal was all correct, but nothing more.

There are basically two things on menu, pizza and hamburgs. I went to order Hamburg on a Saturday night visit, but you could not order it. They were short cooks, there was only 1, and he was only making pizzas. So we had a Hawaiian and a Seniorita pizza. Lots of cheese. They were good. Hostess and waitresses were friendly.

We had an amazing dinner here. It was busy but we were offered a bar seat while we waited for a table. The service staff were excellent and it was clear they worked well together to take care of a very busy dining room. The pizza was incredible, shared between two people. The salad was exactly what we wanted. It's a small menu but well executed. Thank you for a lovely dinner!

Great place to stop by and grab a pie! I'm impressed with the pizza they'd made in Scotland, very good. Make this a must go when stopping in Inverness!

Great food and service, the pizzas were tasty and fresh. The small (wee) salad was a perfect size and the trio of ice creams to share (chocolate, strawberry and vanilla) was a perfect finish! The staff were so friendly and accomodating, we had a relaxing dinner and would highly recommend!

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! The food was good, pizza was successful. Positive point of the restaurant although the supplements are almost obligatory and expensive. The downside was the service. The staff was rude and very unsympathetic. Haughty on certain occasions with certain people in our group, and they finally imposed a 10% tip when paying without warning us! I do not recommend PS: they don't have classic San Pellegrino

While pizza is clearly their specialty, their large salad (with chicken) was the meal for me. They had excellent cocktails and the wait staff was fun and helpful. Initially they advised a 20 minute wait for a table, but it was more like 5 minutes...bonus!

Delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere, it also made the children happy. Good music too, from Moby to Elton John and classic rock

Mixed feelings about this place. Went there for the pizza, because burgers were not available. We arrived at 05:30 PM and had to wait. The queueing system is very chaotic. The queuing mistress was born without the ability of smiling. While waiting there some people were asking about a take-away, but even if the site said it was possible, well, it wasn't. After 30min or so, we were guided to our table, where we ordered 3 pizzas at the waiter who was very friendly. After a while only 2 pizzas arrived with the question if we needed another sharing plate. This was corrected after another 5min of waiting. The pizza dough was very good, but there was no seasoning on the topping at all, it would benefit a lot from some oregano or basil. When we left the place, no one said anything to us anymore. So only 3 stars.

The spicy pizza was actually spicy. The garden salad was very fresh with a good dressing. We enjoyed this restaurant very much.

Service without a smile. Pizza is actually quite good, but the staff is so indifferent to you being there. Never smile, and anything you ask feels like it’s annoying them. I’m not completely sure if they treat locals the same way, but as an outsider you feel so unwelcome. And I actually believe if they read this review they’ll just laugh and not care.

Staff was completely rude!! We ordered a pizza and salad for take out we asked for napkins, the girl told us napkins were only available for dine in customers… she told us we couldn’t have any dressing for our salad even if we were willing to pay for it! She rolled her eyes at us and was totally rude. I can’t believe a restaurant would allow such trash to work the front!! Pizza was ok at best

The service was very good and pleasant. The place is very nice to be with friends and enjoy. The pizza was good, perhaps the mozzarella would have needed a little more heat to reach the table more melted.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker (The Spicy), der Salat war eher lieblos, nicht kreativ zurechtgemacht und ohne interessantes Dressing. Das Essen wurde recht schnell serviert, die Bedienung freundlich, lediglich der Barkeeper kam definitiv nicht vom Fach (Lärm, Umgang mit Gläsern und Flaschen)

Great pizza and a good selection of whisky beer and wine. An excellent choice in Portree. They don’t take reservations but the wait wasn’t very long would recommend.

Picky American Paradise. If you don’t like seafood, or are just feeling like some pizza and drinks, give this place a try! We ordered the Spicy Pizza (amazing, better than a considerable amount of pizza I’ve had stateside. Their pizza is wood-fired), mozzarella sticks, chicken sandwich, garden salad, smash burger, slaw, cajun fries and another pizza, along with Non-Alcoholic and Alcoholic beverages. The burgers and chicken sandwich are very good, and have a secret-sauce like spread on top, which you can also ask for and have it with your fries. Everything tasted good, except for one of the pizzas was burnt pretty well on the bottom, which wasn’t great, but still a solid meal. Would recommend!

Great spot! We went here after a long day of driving around Isle of Skye and it absolutely hit the spot. Great pizza (we got the funghi and señorita) and some gin and tonics and it was all delicious. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table for 2, but it was worth it. Would recommend!

Fantastic food for a reasonable price in Portree. We had a couple of pizzas, fries as sides and mocktails - everything was delicious and the service once seated was exceptional. Only loses a star due to a lack of a booking system, which left us queueing for over an hour to get a table. The music inside, while decent, experienced regular skips with the sound cutting out for a second at regular intervals, which I found very distracting during our visit. If you can get a table, though, the food and drink is absolutely worth it.

This restaurant is very popular and it is often very busy. Sometimes you have to queue to get a table. There are a lot of tourists who come to this restaurant. I enjoyed the quality of the pizza and recommend it.

Good place to have few cocktails and pizza. Ordered skinny fries, truffle fries, garlic bread, and mozzarella sticks as some sides. Garlic bread was disappointing as it came out in the shape of a pizza. I was expecting small pieces of bread sprinkled with minced garlic but garlicky pizza was not appetizing. Ordered a couple of pizza for take out - beautifully done and hot honey drizzle was amazing. Not a bad place if you are craving for some good pizza.

Best pizza I've ever had outside of Italy! (Price a little high, but being in Scotland I'd say it's ok) (yes I had it with pineapple and ham, very well done, excellent dough and high crust and delicious) The cocktails are also excellent, very special! I tasted the one at After Eight

Hey , we are really disappointed . We ordered a cesar salad for 10 pounds and got only lettuce. Pizza was fine but burned.

Nice pizzas good burgers reasonable prices

We lucked out and scored a table in the bar area (dining room was busy although ten-fifteen minutes would have yielded us a table there). We split pizza and small salad and a bottle of wine. Prices were very reasonable and the quality of pizza was great! It was a good sour dough, thin crust with great flavour. The wine (a Shiraz) was good, too! We had a young lady and a man (owner/manager?) assist with our order and they were very professional. I’d go back there in a heartbeat!

We spontaneously got a table for 5 people there. The store was completely full in the evening. Ordered 5 pizzas and various beers. Everything was super tasty and we were satisfied. The only drawback: with 5 people it was super cramped to sit and eat.

Surprising find! Brilliant pizza and burger restaurant in the heart of Portree. Great selection of toppings on pizza with lovely crust and thinness. Great food, lovely staff. Would definitely go again!

We went for dinner and I must say that the pizza is really good and the guys at the service are very, very kind! Absolutely recommended!

The pizza was delicious! I loved the crispy/burnt edges and the crust was just right. The flavors tasted amazing. Very fresh and the pepperoni was delicious. We had two different pizzas, beer and some whiskey to top. Great value and very nice service. The sour beer was a huge highlight. Highly recommend. It was nice to be able to reserve a table online too.

After a day of travel, my husband and I stopped in for dinner. The drinks and pizza were great! If you want leftovers, order 2 pizzas, but 1 would certainly have fed both of us. A wonderful surprise during our visit to Skye.

My hubby & I visited this evening and we both had Mushroom pizzas and shared some cajun skinny fries, super tasty. There is the option for vegan cheese which I had & it was really nice. The restaurant was quite busy and the staff were efficient before and whilst we were eating our dinner but once our plates were cleared we sat for about 10/15 minutes trying to get the attention of any passing staff member to request the bill. We eventually went directly to the bar to pay our bill. Please don't let our experience put you off, the pizzas are great.

Delicious stone baked pizzas! I created my own and it was fantastic and huge. We also had garlic bread and parmesan and truffle fries. Couldn't finish it all! Definitely recommended!

We were very early for supper so we had our pick of tables and sat in a window booth. It was quiet and relaxing... we were quiet and relaxed... so much so the servers forgot about us for a few minutes! They were VERY apologetic and we all had a chuckle about it. Food... she ordered the margarita pizza with a Gin and Tonic, I had the Chicken Burger with French Fries and a Seaweed IPA. Pizza must have been good because she finished the whole thing. The chicken burger was very good. It was fresh and hot, had cranberry compote on it and the fries were the best in the Isle of Skye. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided recommendations for our next day of activities. I recommend giving this restaurant a try. Get the chicken burger!

The Cesar salad had no dressing and we asked for vinegar, the waiter told us they don't have it. After this, we asked for tomato sos, he brought us some small packages of tomato sos. It didn't work for the salad so we asked again for lemon. That made the waiter angry, telling us he have other customers too.

Reached Portree in the Isle of Skye, and here I am, having my first taste of Scottish black pudding (yes, pig blood) on a pizza! Caberfeidh Restaurant specializes in pizza, burgers, beer, and cocktails. Despite the not-so-extensive menu, we went for their signature Caberfeidh pizza, featuring black pudding and venison salami. The taste was... well, interesting! 🤣 But hey, it's all about trying the local delicacies, right?

Pizza ok, quick service, excellent value for money. Just one piece of advice: close the entrance door otherwise the table near the door will freeze and no one likes cold pizza!

Arrivati a Portree senza prenotare la cena , io e mia moglie abbiamo cercato qualche locale che ci accogliesse dato che in Scozia dopo le otto difficilmente trovi qualche locale che ti accolga.Sinceramente non siamo tipi da cercare la pizza o il locale "Italiano" ma necessita' ci ha fatto decidere per questa bella pizzeria, nella piazza principale di Portree,sinceramente eravamo prevenuti ma la pizza che ci hanno servito era veramente di buon livello sia come pasta che come cottura, il locale molto bello e lo staff molto gentile e premuroso

Great drinks and pretty good pizza. While the pizza doesn't compare to Cafe Sia (about 40 min south of Portree), it was still better than average, and the location is great in downtown Portree.

We were a little late for lunch so most of the restaurants were already closed, but Caberfeidh was still open. The Funghi Pizza was amazing! It had wild mushrooms on it, not just those mushrooms like usual. The rest was also very tasty. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the spicy sausage on the pizza. The burger was good but could use a bit more flavor and work on the presentation but overall good atmosphere and experience. The cocktail was good as well. We came in shortly after opening and were able to get a table, but it got quite busy soon after we arrived.

First night we wanted to go here but there was a huge line waiting outside. Today we went to have dinner here, but me and my partner both didn't finish our pizza because we didn't like it. I had a seafood pizza with maybe 6 mussels on it, it had burned edges and it just wasn't good. My girlfriend had the same, she ordered a smokey pizza with chicken, and had maybe 6 pieces of chicken on it. I would skip it to be honest, not worth the wait or the price!

Got takeaway from here and it was lovely. Got a burger and a pizza and we loved them. Reasonably priced for the area and staff were lovely.

A distinctly average experience which suggests inexperienced leadership and a lack of hospitality. Dined a few days ago and the service was shocking. It's not been open long and I guess I should give it a second chance but the experience has dissuaded me from taking another chance. I arrived at the wrong time...4.30pm I think. So neither lunch nor dinner and I guess the staff weren't in the mood. I was asked to wait for a short time for the table which was in the bar in the window. The lady said they had no menus but would bring one when they were able. I didn't get offered a drink which is the 1st law of restaurants right ?! So after 20 minutes sitting in the window listening to the next table being advised what was unavailable (including ketchup apparently!) I was left twiddling my thumb's. Staff were too busy chatting and greeting another employee who was probably a chef or a more important local. Eventually I decided to remind the staff and was greeted with " have you not seen the menu yet "? Obviously not ! I had to ask for a drink as it was not forthcoming. I soon ordered a venison burger & chips but by the time it arrived I really needed to be away ....I'd only allowed 1hr 15mins to eat lunch and I'd exceeded my time. The "squashed" burger arrived...in it's tin foil jacket and it was actually very tasty although looked like my sandwiches used to in my school lunchbox after I'd run to school. I accidentally knocked my coke over and the 4 staff standing behind me failed to notice. I asked for help and the girl kindly came and wiped the table but left the floor which was covered in the stuff. I quickly ate the burger and wrapped the chips to go then asked for the bill. I was told to go to the door station while the waitress took phone calls for reservations and tried to print my bill. Overall...it needs a proper front of house leader with eyes & ears in the back of their head. Customers should be a priority not an inconvenience and if you do t want diner's at 4pm..close ! We won't be going back until we see a decent number of reviews telling us how fab the service is because pizza ain't that hard to deliver....good service is.
