Toller Pub im Herzen von Sterling. So, wie ein Pub sein muss... Nette, freundliche Bedienung, Gute Bierauswahl... Live Musik ab 21 Uhr.... Was will man mehr...

This and Porters sat opposite each other for decades. And unbelievably this one survives today, it always was a small (wet) drinking pub. Use it or loose it! Tell me where you can get an excellent and well kept pint of Tartan Special nowadays? Next time I’m in Stirling I will be making a beeline for this pub to give it some justifiable time. No fancy or fake atmosphere just real people going about their business and having a drink

I’ve been here a few times mainly before getting the bus home as it’s not far from the the bus station. It’s recently been refurbished and they have introduced a good range of gins. Very welcoming, friendly staff and customers. Reasonably priced and the best measures of gin in crystal glasses you’ll see anywhere in Stirling. Get yourself along. It’s a traditional old style independent pub with a fan base of regulars! It’s been here for years since my uncle Michael used to run it and I’m pleased it’s still on the go.

In the heart of Stirling this is a great little pub. People are very friendly and they toss out any louts so safe and sound. Great drink specials and the locals are friendly. Met Arthur there who bought us a nice scotch just because. Our second time there and loved it both times. Came be packed at times and a early close on Sundays

Siamo passati in questo pub per una birra: classica atmosfera da pub scozzese. Ottima scelta di birre e personale molto gentile e cortese. Sicuramente da consigliare.

There's not many independent pubs left. Donna and Gary run a great pub, brilliant customer service and fine selection of beers, gins and malt whisky. Best place to meet with friends for a blether and enjoy an peaceful drink. Bar service is excellent particularly the detail when serving one of the great selection of Scottish gins.

Read Donnamacs review & visited the Port Customs Bar in Stirling. I couldn't believe the Gins on offer - try the Brockmans with pink grapefruit & blueberries - superb. The beer is great & the staff really nice & cheery. Anyone who knows The Grill in Aberdeen this is like a smaller version. Try the Port Customs they will make you welcome.

I'm inclined to make it my Local, cos its got something for everyone, despite its Limited Beer/Wine/Liquors selections. Service, Atmosphere, Age Mix of Customers, and sports screening etc. well makes up for that! Staff are "Special"! :-)

There aren't many of these old style bars left and that is a shame. The service and beer in here is good. Just dont expect luxury

A family run business with amazing staff full of local regular customers who go back for the excellent beer on tap and some of the best prices in the town on spirits with great service from staff( who remember exactly what they drink so get served quickly) and a clean and friendly pub. There is 3 televisions which mostly show all games of football, racing uk and at the races, a great wee place to get tips for the bookie lines !!!!! This pub recently introduced an amazing range of gins( around 14 types all only £2-30)with fevertree tonics as well and they all get served with the appropriate garnish eg- ruby grapefruit and blueberries in the brockmans gin. They also have a fantastic range of top shelf vodkas only £2-50 including grey goose (my favourite) and a good selection of malt whiskys. They also do a house vodka and house whisky for only £1.35 and if you double up on any drink you get a free draught mixer, their smirnoff is only £1.65 though so thats still great value.SO WHAT YOU ALL WAITING FOR,GET ALONG THERE AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF !!!!!!!

If it's a real pub you are looking for this is it, it may be small but it packs a punch. No frills but what you see is what you get, proper bar with real people all friendly and informative. Worth a visit.

My wife and I had just walked down the hill from the Stirling Castle and were looking for a pub as we had some time to kill. A man in a suit came along so we asked him for a suggestion and he mentioned that this pub was a "blue collar" type of place. As I grew up above a "blue collar" bar in Brooklyn New York and my wife was the daughter of a "blue collar" teamster and dock worker we would give it a try. We had a very nice experience meeting and engaging in conversation with a local couple. It is small and narrow and has been around a long time. There were mostly all men there watching horse racing and football(soccer) on several TV's. One bathroom and no smoking. When I paid my bill with too much local money the bartender returned my overage. That is called being nice to strangers.

Taking a quick Motorbike tour in the Highlands and decided to use the quieter roads beyond Glasgow into the Trossachs. This lovely Tearoom is on the North side of the Loch and it's definitely a find! Vast range of teas available, home baked cakes and scones (delicious btw) plus a range of food on the menu if you want something more substantial (I was content with the scone with jam & cream & a pot of Earl Grey). On a cool, grey September day, it's warm, spacious and cosy interior was a delight as was the owner/proprietor! 😊👌 She (Kay, I think?) runs the place singlehandedly and efficiently, even when 10 different visitors all turn up within 15 minutes of each other... well done for managing the heavy demand 👏 & pleased that everyone appreciated your super effort in making sure that everyone was served in rotation with the minimum delay possible. 😊👍 Btw, the pic is from the south of the Loch looking toward the north 👌

Happy faces all round as this cafe served snacks, cakes and drinks to a satisfied mix of customers. Saturday lunchtime crowd said everything and my order was spot on for what I needed. Highly recommended.

Imagine you come back by train to stirling after a long day in edinburgh. Tired, grumpy and hungry walking through the streets. All you want is a coffee from unorthodox roasters. But the place is closed and the vinyl shop beside also. Then you meet a guy walking to his car and saying „how are you?“. You have a little chat about coffee and other things, ending with a present (grinded coffee) to take home to germany. Happens only in stirling, scotland, in front of unorthodox roasters. The guy we met was Neil, the owner of the place (unorthodox roasters), who reopened his place just to give us this present to save our day! Unbelievable! Thank you so much, my friend, we enjoyed the coffee a few minutes ago back home in germany freshly made with our little espresso maker! Or, as Neil would say: „Life is good!“ Greets, hope to meet you again, Willy&Sarah

My mum and I recently decided to try out this cafe for lunch and we were very impressed with the tapas/small plate dishes, and with the cake. The food was fresh and delicious. Today I went back with my baby and found it to be a lovely cafe to breastfeed in as well - there is a small family area at the back which is lamp lit and affords some privacy. The staff are very friendly, and were particularly good when I was flustered with a hungry baby today. This is just what Stirling was needing - my new favourite cafe!
