The Bannockburn Coffee House in Stirling

Unfortunately the waiter made a series of mistakes then started talking about us within our hearing saying we were rude. This was patently untrue, we stated to leave and he showed us the door. Up until now our experience has been excellent and it would have been 5 star.

We only stopped in for coffee but it was very good and the owners were fantastic.

Was in the Bannockburn area one Saturday morning, and was in need of something to eat, so popped into the Bannockburn Coffee House to grab a breakfast roll and cafe. Little bit on the pricey side, but was tasty enough and staff were friendly and inviting. If in the area I would probably revisit and eat-in as for a Saturday morning it was really busy.

I cannot even begin to tell you what an AMAZING experience and breakfast we had! I cannot recommend this place more! The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and the staff were just so so so friendly! My sister and I had driven for around 2 hours to test drive a car and really had no.idea where to go! We googled restaurants and this came up! So so grateful it did as we will absolutely be back! Michelin star 🌟 🌟 ⭐️

Looked for somewhere for lunch on Tripadvisor & found the Bannockburn Coffee House. Had eggs benedict, very good - the eggs were perfectly cooked. Staff were very attentive.

Real little jem of a coffee shop in Bannockburn. Food and coffee were tasty and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of options on the menu for lunch and our dietary requirements were catered for without complaint. Will definitely be stopping by again on our travels.

0 stars. First time I went the elder lady was rude. Place wasn’t shutting for another hour and she was eyeing me and my friend up as if we were to leave. Started hoovering around us and we just didn’t feel welcome. A few weeks later me and my friend decided to meet for a coffee and I parked in the carpark and was waiting on my friend to arrive. Most of the woman staff were peering out the window staring at me, then a lady came out, stared at me for a minute and told me I couldn’t park there even tho the car park is for customers, would not recommend to anyone as they make you feel uncomfortable.

This was the friendliest service ever! Alison and her husband are wonderful! The food is excellent, great atmosphere, and there’s a lovely gift shop at the back. What a great experience, in a beautiful town!

Husband and I were on a day trip to Scotland, from leeds. We've been to this lovely cosy little café before. Today we had a Scottish breakfast, with Haggis! All produce is locally sourced, very tasty meal. There are also home baked cakes, scones too. This café also caters for gluten free and vegetarian on asking. Our meal was delicious. The ladies in there are so warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly rated! There is also a little gift shop and sells some beautiful items of jewellery made by a local lady. We'll be back again soon.

So we left Glasgow very early in morning and the Bannockburn coffee shop kindly opened there doors to feed us all at 7am and wow what an amazing breakfast definitely the best I’ve tasted, the owners were so welcoming definitely will be back can I just say I never liked black pudding until I came here thanks again Anyone going to rewind next year or just want a we drive for lovely food definitely recommend going here

First visit but definitely not the last. Lovely atmosphere and as has been commented before staff are a delight. Good selection of dishes to choose from (makes it difficult) My friend and I chose 2 different meals both were delicious and had been prepared freshly for us. Beautifully clean and welcoming..Food well presented. Owner Alison is lovely and made us feel right at home. Got soup to takeaway really tasty. All in all looking forward to my next visit.

First visit today and already can't wait to come back. Had a lovely lunch, homemade soup was delicious and the sandwiches so tasty. Good gluten free choice too for my sister. Staff were lovely and the place is spotlessly clean. Thank you 🙂

We enjoyed a fabulous Scottish Breakfast and French Toast. Food was first class and the surroundings were intimate and distinctly Scottish. Carol and the staff were all welcoming and very helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to return when the opportunity arises.

What a lovely place. The food was excellent as was the service. Delicious home made cakes and other goodies. They also cater for gluten free. Treat yourself to a visit.

Food was tasty, staff were pleasant, decor was lovely. The basic price for breakfast was OK, then it got silly. I wanted extra toast and beans and got charged an extra £1 PER SLICE of toast and £1 for a portion of beans. So my breakfast cost £10. I am all for supporting local businesses but couldn't afford to be eating here at these prices.

Immature staff. Was made redundant here and replaced with another member of staff with no prior warning. Not very accommodating for an autistic person in their first job!

Unbelievable that it has taken me this long to visit this lovely coffee house. I am a local but tend to go into town, that will now change. Super friendly welcome, good craic, lovely coffee and lovely breakfast. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Delicious. I was also there as my friend tagged me in their Facebook competition and I did the same for other people. I was so lucky to win some beautiful jewellery and I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous rose gold bracelet and earrings. John is very funny and his wife Alison is also lovely. She also has beautiful gifts in the shop which are hard to resist. Definitely a place to stop if you are looking for a friendly welcome with lovely staff. A winner. ❤️

Popped in today after finding them on Google as was in the area. Friendly welcome from when we arrived and seated. The selection of cakes was fab and we opted for the warm apple pie with custard which was delicious! Cosy wee place which we would definitely return to!

Me detuve aquí en mi camino hacia el Battle of Bannockburn Center. No puedo comentar demasiado sobre la experiencia de sentarse, ya que solo vine para llevar. Un amigo me llevó a este pequeño lugar fabuloso el lunes por primera vez, y me encantó, así que volví esta mañana con mi esposo y mi nieto de 5 años. Era una hermosa mañana, así que nos sentamos al sol afuera y tomamos un desayuno increíble, y a nuestro cockapoo se le permitió sentarse debajo de la mesa, lejos de otros comensales, y la encantadora dama que nos servía le dio un cuenco de agua y una salchicha. Así que en general, comida deliciosa, servicio fantástico y estoy deseando volver.

Mi familia y yo almorzamos aquí ayer y fue una gran experiencia. Había una gran variedad en el menú y opté por salmón ahumado abierto, que era increíble, y la guarnición de ensalada y la ensalada de col estaban deliciosas. Mi marido tenía pescado y patatas fritas y dijo que estaba cocinado a la perfección. El ambiente era muy agradable y dos camareras vinieron a nuestra mesa para comprobar que todos estábamos bien. Tomé un desayuno delicioso aquí el domingo, tuve aguacate con tostadas y mi esposo tenía salmón ahumado y huevos revueltos. El único problema que tuve fue que ninguno de los miembros del personal llevaba máscaras y cuando alguien entró en el café, el caballero que servía (no estoy seguro de si también es el propietario) no dudó en estrecharles la mano. Todo el personal era amable, pero no parecía preocupado por el distanciamiento social o por tomar precauciones en relación con el covid, lo cual fue sorprendente dado que había desinfectante de hsnd en la puerta e incluso tenían máscaras a la venta.

Went here this morning for breakfast with my friend had a lovely time, well spaced out and very clean. Our food was fresh and hot and the staff were friendly and helpful theres nothing more I could ask for apart from the rain to have stopped!

Mi madre y yo hicimos un viaje a la cafetería Bannockburn para almorzar y, tan pronto como entramos, uno de los que parecían ser los dueños soltó un suspiro exasperado y nos dijo que no podía molestarse en hacer algo que pudiera funcionar. le tomó mucho tiempo hacer ya que el café se cerraría en una hora. Luego nos dieron un menú que parecía ser un caballero encantador, el menú era confuso de leer y no tenía opciones de rellenos para panninis. Después de casi 10 segundos de ver el menú, nos lo arrebataron y nos apresuraron a elegir qué comer. Cuando decidimos, dijeron que llevaría mucho tiempo y nos dijeron que eligiéramos otra cosa. Hubo mucho más. En general, su actitud fue espantosa y bastante agresiva. Nunca volvería en un millón de años. Y nunca antes había experimentado algo tan horrible en un café y les aconsejo que todos los demás hagan lo mismo.

Standard cafe menu that consists of everything you could possibly want. We came in only for a little break, so not sure what food is like but the cakes were exquisite. I had red velvet,the tastiest ever, my son had apple pie first time in his life and loved it and partner had strawberry tart,also loved it. Staff exceptionally friendly, welcoming and hardworking. Over all,defo recommend.
