Had a very good late breakfast. Highlight though was the very efficient, cheery, friendly young lady serving. Totally brightened up my day.

What a lovely, friendly place with great quality food. I am gluten free and they were able to adapt many of the items on the menu to make them gluten free so I didn't feel like I was missing out. They also had the choice of TWO gluten free cakes, which is unusual in many places. Definitely worth a visit!

Gorgeous location for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The cafe is clean, friendly and welcoming and the service was incredible. We came in as a family of 6 for breakfast, including my 2 year old daughter. The staff were so friendly towards my daughter and patient when she wanted to talk to them. The food and coffee was incredible and set us up for a day of adventuring around Campeltown. We also spotted their specials menu on the board for lunch whilst in there and all of the food sounds incredible!

Outstanding breakfast. All cooked from scratch, eggs spot on, and good coffee too. They even served fried bread (which wasn't on the menu) as we had been talking in the car about how long it had been since we had some. Oh, and they cooked a sausage for the dog (we sat on a table outside). So good, we ate here twice in three days. Staff were chatty and efficient, and it's right on the seafront. Lunches sounded good too. Highly recommended.

Been here many times for lunch or breakfast, even though I live less than a mile away! The big breakfast is a bit of a challenge - are you up to it 🤣? It's outstanding! It's all freshly cooked and the service is wonderful. The sisters and their staff are the best people you can wish to meet. Top tip - check the specials board for your lunch and make sure you're not going to be too busy for a while afterwards haha! Personally I think the tea is better than the coffee, but really it's all fine. Wonderful cafė, 100% recommended. Should also mention the home baking. The sisters know their way round an oven for sure! Easy parking on both sides of the pier and nice outdoor seating area in the good weather. It was a cash only business until recently. Never been a problem for me but I went yesterday for breakfast and found they are able to take card payment now.

What a lovely warm welcome to this gorgeous place! We arrived after trying to find somewhere for brunch. The lady who greeted us was sweet, friendly and knowledgeable. Although a slightly chilly day, it was warm and clean. The specials were inventive - my husband had a lasagne in a toastie and he loved it. I had a Wee Breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. No complaints from us whatsoever. I would recommend anyone come here and sample some genuinely friendly Scottish fare.

Quick summary: lovely range of soup, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Moderate prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice quayside ambiance. We stopped in for lunch while touring the area. There are delicious-looking cakes and pastries, but we were focused on our usual style — each get a bowl of soup and split a sandwich (we like the combo, but most restaurants serve sandwiches that are too large to have both at a sitting.). The menu has a nice range of light but fillin lunches — sandwich paninis, toasties, soup, quiche, burgers, etc. We had the soup of the day - tomato and pepper, which had a nice veggie taste with the hint of sweet pepper, and came with very good bread. We split the chili panini panini special, which came covered in cheese, and included a side salad, and homemade salsa. All was fresh and tasty.. This is also the kind of place that gets creative. Other specials included Mac-and-cheese with haggis; lasagne toastie (toasted in garlic bread) The cakes, scones, and pastries look delish. More elaborate teatime can be booked, I think. Perhaps another time if we are in the area. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Lovely quayside tearoom atmosphere. There are also some outside tables. Thank you for a lovely time!

After a memorable trip in Campbeltown we stopped here for some lunch on our way home, from entering Tea on the Quay the staff could not have been more polite and helpful. Service from the staff was exceptional and they were interested in what we were saying, food absolutely delicious and all home made, and certainly plenty to choose from! Would highly recommend a visit to this cafe either on the passing through Campbeltown or on your stay here… hope you all enjoy as much as we did 😊

We ate here two nights in a row in early August. The menu changed each night so there were new things to try. We gelt some of the food, such as the starters, were over priced for the portion (£8.50 for two small croquettes) but they were delicious. However, the slices of cake we got for pudding were easily big enough for two (the picture shows two half slices on one plate) and each only £6.50. The cakes and puddings we had were all top notch A*** (esp choc ganache) so worth coming in just for coffee and cake even if you don't have a meal. We booked in advance via WhatsApp for 6pm dinner: Wed night it was quiet but the Thursday was heaving so glad we booked. The food we had was c. £20 for a main course and was really well made and delicious. Portions aren't huge but were sufficient. There isn't a kids menu so the first night we shared two meals between the three of us and had pudding, but the second night we had a main each. The Island Cafe is cheaper than the Coll Hotel and has a nice home made, welcoming feel to it with local art and two linked rooms, one with sofas and tables and the other just tables. The serving staff were nice young people. My partner also had coffee and cake here and the cakes really are very good (I hear the Chelsea buns are to die for too) and my coffee-snob partner says this is the best coffee available on Coll.
