The Blairmore was one of our best finds on our holiday in amazing Scotland. The owners and staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food is amazing, so much choice and delicious. We loved it so much it featured 4 times in our 6-day holiday! We miss you already! We hope to be back again. The Yorkshire/Hampshire 3 😁

Fabulous find in a lovely location. Service was brilliant, very friendly staff. Menu had great choices, all locally sourced ingredients and very reasonably priced. Cakes looked to die for. Toilets were very clean, couldn’t have needed anything more. If youre around the area, visiting Puck Glen or Benmore Gardens would really recommend a stop here.

Don't get to visit this place very often but when I do I'm never disappointed. Also every time I'm there the lovely owner seems to have made more improvements. This time it's the buzzer system for efficient waiting/queuing times which is really good. I take my hat off to the lovely lady who manages/owns this place she is totally inspiring and a great asset to the area.

A Stunning little find, would give more than 5 stars if we could. We were having a family holiday nearby and ended up visiting 4 times in the 5 days we were there. The food is absolutely delicious, both on the Breakfast and Lunch menus. The staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming, they catered for us all, a group of 5 adult, a sometimes stroppy toddler and our 2 dogs with no issues at all and nothing was too much for them. They all really make the experience fantastic. Such a shame we live 7 hours away or we would be popping in regularly, we certainly will if ever passing anywhere close.

Excellent. We stopped in for takeaway sandwiches (which came in a box with salad and dressing) and they were so good that we went back the next day for the same, with coffee, for the ferry journey back across to Gourock. I wish we had time to sit in as the menu looked great. It looked to be a very popular location for breakfast and lunch. Very friendly staff.

It's a real shame you can't give more than 5 stars for this outstanding restaurant. We spent our vacation close to the Blairmore this year and enjoyed lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and a special steak event there. We didn't have the time to go for breakfast, unfortunately, so no doubt will have to go back there as soon as possible. Great food, lovely owner and team, wonderful location with a nice view. Don't miss it if you are in the area!!

I went there because I was told it was dog friendly. I found it to be very dog friendly as they have a doggy menu with vets approved food, which to me was absolutely amazing. As for the food I ordered a scone and a latte. The drink was very good indeed. However, the scone, a cherry one, was massive and came with butter. I also, have to say, I have had many scones all over the British isles and this one was delicious and certainly in my top three. It was also very easy to park right next to the place. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, even though I have a lovely friendly Springer they made a fuss of him. I also understand that he absolutely loved the scone as well. Consequently, I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone with a dog and of course those who are unfortunately without one of our four legged friends of the canine variety. In conclusion, if you get the chance please call in and sample the food and service, one will not be dissatisfied.

We visited the Blairmore today for our first time in the area and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful from the outset. The food was phenomenal. We ordered a variety of foods from the lunch menu including a burger, baguettes, a sandwich, some cake and even some items from the dog menu. All of the food was superb, I wouldn’t change a thing. We also ordered coffees which were fantastic. All of this was ordered to takeaway and it was quickly prepared, really well packaged and brought out to us on the lovely benches outside. The prices were very reasonable and the service faultless. There is plenty parking outside and easy access to the beautiful premises. I highly recommend the Blairmore and will most definitely be returning again in the near future.

The Blairmore is fantastic. Run by mother and daughter Helen and Morgan, the attention to detail, the warm welcome the extensive and delicious menu make the Blairmore a must visit. If they are busy, which they often are, they have a pager system where you can wait in your car until a table becomes free. The views out over Blairmore Pier are lovely. The food is delicious and the selection of home-made cakes (which changes across the week) are fantastic. They also offer gift vouchers and have even posted them out to me at my home address (not in Scotland) for gifting to friends which I think is brilliant. Highlights of the menu include the support of local suppliers for coffee, venison burgers, cheeses and all sorts of other food items. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff are very willing to help and provide excellent service. They have a range of seating including tables and chairs and bench/booth seating with tables. They have highchairs and are dog friendly. The prices are reasonable too and meals are good value with excellent portion sizes. The team are also really good at answering questions about allergies and accommodating these. There is an excellent shop next door as well which sells some of the items they use or make on the menu eg, jams and chutneys. The shop also stocks products from other local suppliers in the area. I wish there was a Blairmore cafe in my home town! It is one of the highlights of coming to visit such a beautiful area on holiday. It wouldn’t be a holiday without at least two trips to the Blairmore! Thank you, Morgan and team 🩷

I'm sure it's usually better but it was Mothering Sunday and we felt rushed and unwelcome just having a tea and a cake because we were 90 minutes ahead of the booked out special lunch. We were happy to be brief and I get that there was stress before a busy afternoon but my 80+ year old parents felt rushed and flustered. Could do better or just don't open prior to big events.

We ate here two nights in a row in early August. The menu changed each night so there were new things to try. We gelt some of the food, such as the starters, were over priced for the portion (£8.50 for two small croquettes) but they were delicious. However, the slices of cake we got for pudding were easily big enough for two (the picture shows two half slices on one plate) and each only £6.50. The cakes and puddings we had were all top notch A*** (esp choc ganache) so worth coming in just for coffee and cake even if you don't have a meal. We booked in advance via WhatsApp for 6pm dinner: Wed night it was quiet but the Thursday was heaving so glad we booked. The food we had was c. £20 for a main course and was really well made and delicious. Portions aren't huge but were sufficient. There isn't a kids menu so the first night we shared two meals between the three of us and had pudding, but the second night we had a main each. The Island Cafe is cheaper than the Coll Hotel and has a nice home made, welcoming feel to it with local art and two linked rooms, one with sofas and tables and the other just tables. The serving staff were nice young people. My partner also had coffee and cake here and the cakes really are very good (I hear the Chelsea buns are to die for too) and my coffee-snob partner says this is the best coffee available on Coll.
