Great food. Friendly service. Well worth a visit.

Food is absolutely delicious. Very reasonable priced if ordered from store or north Ayrshire eats. Always fresh, warm and tasty. Never had a issue with timing nor getting my order wrong.

This is the first time my wife and I have had a home delivery from this restaurant and I can't compliment their food enough, I had a beef curry which was so good, the beef melted in my mouth, my wife had a chicken korma which she said was the best Indian meal she had ever eaten, high praise indeed as she is a very fussy eater, we also had veggy pakoras and they were fantastic crispy on the outside and so fresh inside, we will go to this restaurant next time as the food was so good mmmm

The lucky star has changed management, it's now called hot wok and has a new menu. It used to be a fantastic chinese but sadly we weren't impressed with the food. We ordered a chicken curry, fried rice, chips, onion rings, a chicken Maryland snack meal and battered salt chilli chips. The curry wasnt very nice, it was like gravy and the chicken Maryland was just 1 peice of chicken with chips, not worth the money and certainly not a proper chicken Maryland! The battered chips were ok but nothing like I've had elsewhere and delivery took 1 hour and 10 mins, when I was told it wouldnt take long and they weren't busy. Doubt we will be back?

Great pub, with a very relaxed atmosphere, spotless inside always a great pint, Ian & his staff are different class & nothing is ever a problem for them, I will definitely return.

My fiance and I traveled through from Glasgow after seeing pictures on social media to get the garlic naan with donner meat, chicken chasni and cheese on top and it was delicious! We will definitely be back.

We went on the Sunday after the big storm, and there were 5 adults and 2 children, one 5 and the other was 10 months. It wasn't their usual menu, but it was still good, and the kids' menu was ok. The waitress was helpful when asked about the menu. It worth going.

Ordered tonight as we usally do,was sent out the 2 boxes of chips rice and sauce both portions of chips were uncooked got another sent out and was worse than the first phoned up again and the guy who answwred couldnt be more unbothered, i did say i didnt want another replacement and never even got an appology, wkll not be ordereing again

I ordered a delivery at 10:30pm and they closed at 11pm. I was told it would arrive within the hour. It is now 12am and there is no sign of the delivery. The girl that took the order on the phone was not friendly nor professional. Sitting waiting on an order that is never going to be delivered. Shocking customer service, will never give this place a second chance………..crap!

This is probably the worst Chinese I’ve had, curry sauce like water no tase, ordered battered salt and chilli chips didn’t get battered only thing battered was the boxes the food came in, chicken all soggy too much soggy onions in it and lumpy curry sauce

Attempted to order fritters but was informed that they can't make them? Sliced potato in batter and deep fried in a vat of hot oil for 3-4 minutes. Now as a chippy, you might, as a pre requisite expect, potatoes, batter and a vat of hot oil to be present on site- apparently not! - or perhaps they just couldn't be ars*d. This is the standard I expect unfortunately from this chippy.

My favourite Chinese, I order a lot & it's always perfect & scorching hot when delivered! 🫶

Had a chicken chow main as I have had many times before but tonight it was full of grease, had to use kitchen paper to soak up as much as I could ended up in the bin….still hungry. Don’t know what happened tonight different chef maybe??? Won’t be back

Heard good reports from people I know and decided to try. Food was really good and will definitely go back . Live about 6 miles away but that won’t deter me to travel for really good food . Staff very pleasant and helpful with the menu choices.
