Attempted to order fritters but was informed that they can't make them? Sliced potato in batter and deep fried in a vat of hot oil for 3-4 minutes. Now as a chippy, you might, as a pre requisite expect, potatoes, batter and a vat of hot oil to be present on site- apparently not! - or perhaps they just couldn't be ars*d. This is the standard I expect unfortunately from this chippy.

We got a delivery from here which arrived very quickly and the food was piping hot. The food was good and good sized portions for the price. Definitely worth a try!

WE are new to the area and were looking for a decent chippy. The girdle was recommended by friends and OMG what a chippy. Special fish is to die for and the chips are always fresh,hot and never reheats. Should apply for chippy of the year. FAB

A huge thank you to Irish Liz who makes our family birthday brunches amazing. She is a credit to the owners. Her service is professional, friendly, kind, courteous and attentive. Her jolly jovial personality turns a good service into a great service. Our food was also amazing and the coffee, tea and cakes that followed were also lovely. All of the staff were great. However Liz just makes our day at GG s. Highly recommend.

71 Main StWent in, and girls ran off their feet, and had a sausage supper, and a half standard/half special fish supper. Girls were lovely, and the food was outstanding. Best chippy in Largs by a mile. It's a bit chaotic, as all good traditional Italian chippys should be. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 star from us.

Cardiff St.Good honest food at good honest prices. Great service and great atmosphere. There’s nothing not to like here. A warm friendly welcome from helpful staff that can’t do enough to help makes it a ‘must try’ when you’re on the island. You won’t regret it!
