Golden City in North Ayrshire

I ordered a delivery at 10:30pm and they closed at 11pm. I was told it would arrive within the hour. It is now 12am and there is no sign of the delivery. The girl that took the order on the phone was not friendly nor professional. Sitting waiting on an order that is never going to be delivered. Shocking customer service, will never give this place a second chance………..crap!

Terrible place, placed an order worth £45 they forgot the starter box and 3 portions of chips, upon calling the restraunt we received abuse from staff who wouldn't send the rest of the order nor provide a refund, instead told us to call back the next day and only have half a dinner tonight. They also pretended they couldn't hear us on the phone but had been answering everything we said prior and upon telling them we know they're pretending they went straight back to answering everything we said again ofcourse after giving us more abuse.

Ordered at 8, phoned shop 3 times to be told my deliver was going out on the next delivery but never arrived. Will not be using again and definitely don't recommend.

Not long moved to irvine area . And honestly out Chinese takeaways tasted this one was far best out them all. And can 100% say would recommend anyone to try here. Food tasted amazing and was first time ordering tonight from them. Will definitely be our family go to Chinese takeaway going forward 😊

Spent £44 and received only 6 prawn crackers which was a bit cheap. The food wasn't the best and they forgot my 3 orders of fried rice so had to wait for that but they were really quick. Don't know if I would be in a rush to go back.

Best place in Ayrshire, top food doesn’t even compare with any another place. Price is also very competitive and service is top notch even if some mistake happen they can happen in any place. Mistakes were easily and effortlessly sorted

Second time visit and was pleased with the speed ,service and friendlyness of the staff.

Great quick service food is great and prices reasonable good selection of dishes aswell

We get 1 every 2 weeks and my family come all the way from kilbirnie to have it never had a bad meal and tonight is our meal night can’t wait keep up the good work

First time ordering from here, cant say it was great, it was just OK, dont think we will rush back, not as good as silver City like I was told.

Chicken fried rice was boiled race with plain chicken. Suspect it was as they were about to close, pretty dire.

had 2 meals as an individual, they were lovely. so i recommended to a friend and family. it was drowned in salt. really bad!

Love a beef curry and fried rice, and salt and pepper chicken balls with chips. 👍

First time visit, as usual one closed. 1 dish good the other was super vinegary.

Always look forward to a mixed grill when I visit Scotland was disappointing 2 pieces chick 2 pork chops a link and but of ham with mushrooms n onions in a chicken gravy never again
