Lucky Star in North Ayrshire

The lucky star has changed management, it's now called hot wok and has a new menu. It used to be a fantastic chinese but sadly we weren't impressed with the food. We ordered a chicken curry, fried rice, chips, onion rings, a chicken Maryland snack meal and battered salt chilli chips. The curry wasnt very nice, it was like gravy and the chicken Maryland was just 1 peice of chicken with chips, not worth the money and certainly not a proper chicken Maryland! The battered chips were ok but nothing like I've had elsewhere and delivery took 1 hour and 10 mins, when I was told it wouldnt take long and they weren't busy. Doubt we will be back?

Amazing dinner salt n pepper chicken balls absolutely delicious even my son who's three loved them!!! Chow mein too wawee we will definitely be back😁😁😁😁

Been buying my Chinese munchie box out of this Takeaway for years now and they are still as great as the very first one we had. If you want to swap things in the box with something else then they always do it no problem and if it costs that wee bit extra it is worth it. The meals and everything else are also pretty good and I must admit I have personally never had a bad meal or starter from Lucky Star and long may it continue #LoveIt

Been here quite a few times, always good sized portions, food was hot and tastied good. Highly recommend.
