This was my first visit to this establishment since moving to Mauchline itself , and I can honestly say it was a very pleasant experience ! FROM the minute I walked in the door, every single member off, staff were extremely welcoming and friendly ... so much so that I could have chatted with them all night 🌙! .....And to top it off ! My single special fish was absolutely delicious and definitely fried with love ! Job well done
We recently discovered CGulls in Troon when walking around the shops. It is on the street behind the main thoroughfare in the old Post Office building and is a hidden gem !
It is very well spaced inside and absolutely spotless which makes it feel safe and relaxing at the same time. The food and drinks are very reasonable and excellent quality - the homemade soup is our favourite. They also do non-dairy milk which is a pleasing change from many places. We can't fault the staff or the service - polite, friendly, efficient and all wearing masks and following all the covid guidance.
I cannot recommend it highly enough and would definitely say to people to just walk an extra minute around the corner for a real treat.
Table booked on 24/12/2019 for 9 people to have lunch on 5th Jan 2019. We were told when ordering our drinks that they had only one can of diet coke!! Bad start. One hour after our arrival no food had been brought to the table. Eventually starters were served. Food average. When we asked for salad cream for a salad it was to be told that they didn't have any! I ordered fish and chips and was told they didn't have any fish ' only scampi. Attitude to customers was take it or leave it! I felt they had let us down and Dalry down. We will not go back there again.
Lovely little dinner.
Friendly staff, nice food, fast service.
Clean and simple food, Greta for everyone of all ages, lovely with children they have a disabled toilet which would rate 10/10.
Nice breakfast with. Coffee with happy efficient staff with a good menu.
Only real downside is the cold wind that comes through when the door is open on a cold day
Very welcoming. Nice tea, cakes and coffee. Our small cycling group from Lanark were very pleased to find such a nice cafe for refreshments. We'll definitely return 😀
We had a lovely night we were served by Erin she was extremely helpful and made our night she advised us on the menu and on the wine and tried to get seats next door at the t bar
I went here with my partner for an evening meal and was very disappointed following the number of positive comments from other diners. The food felt extremely processed and the chicken was extremely tough and overcooked in both of our dishes. The decor is nice and the beer was good but the food was not. The staff are very attentive but overall I was unimpressed.
Katsu curry sauce was more like a Chinese curry sauce. Ramen broth wasn't of any standard never mind high. Everything expected warm was tepid.
Burger was delicious and fries portion was generous. Sushi was excellent.
