Enzo's Pizzeria-fish & Chips in South Ayrshire

Best takeaway in Ayr. The stonebaked pizzas are absolutely delicious, as is the pasta. And the chip suppers are excellent. Fast and HOT delivery, can’t beat it.

This little insignificant restaurant provided the best meal of fried clams and fish ever. The interior is plain and old. The waitress was accommodating and fast, but had to do everything by herself . Go for the excellent and generous sea food meals . Thumbs up!

Text: Amazing, fresh, hand-made traditional Italian pizza. A friend recommended Enzos and I wasn’t disappointed. 10/10 for pizza, flavour, texture and freshness!

This place was recommended by a local and very near to where we were staying. The fish was nicely seasoned and the batter was crispy. A single portion of chips was a generous size and tasty. Very good value compared to the south east England prices I’m used to, where the cost of the fish on its own is the same as the cost of a fish supper at Enzo’s. Will definitely go back and maybe next time, we’ll try the pizzas or pasta.

Ordered selection as we had friends over, lots to choose from, opted for a selection of pizzas and pastas, all delicious and delivered within a reasonable time!

Amazing Enzo’s pasta ! Have tried it several times now . Cooked perfectly al dente, chicken , broccoli, mushrooms and cream . And prompt home delivery by very pleasant people. Can highly recommend.

We have been using Enzo's since they reopened during lockdown and they have become a firm favourite in our family since. Their pizzas, pasta and chips are fantastic and the fungi fritti is to die for! The service is great too and deliveries usually on time (I really don't mind waiting a bit extra when they are super busy!) We'll definitely be regular customers at Enzo's from now on!

Ordered the usual takeaway at 6.45pm to be told it would be approx 1 hour and a half. Phoned back at 8.30 to be told it was on its way. Phoned again at 8.50 to be told ours would be next. Takeaway delivered at 9.10 driver seemed to be unaware of the time delays but said he would relay my concern when he got back. Phoned back at 9.25 to complain about the double single fish which was over cooked and dry with the feeling it had been cooked earlier and then reheated prior to delivery. Girl on phone insisted all food was cooked fresh and everybody had experienced the same time delay. If that was the case surely the drivers would have been aware. Most disappointed when the fish had always been top notch before. I also don't believe everyone waited nearly two hours and a half for their takeaway. Loyalty obviously does not matter and maybe they will be happy to have a few less customers if they are too busy.

This is the 4th time we have used Enzo's but was even better than before. Pizza is authentic Italian pizza with proper herb flavours and rocket. The fish is amazing. Considering the current crisis the fact it was all delivered hot was a feat in itself. Quality is outstanding. 5/5

Just had a takeaway from Enzo’s for the first time! I can say it won’t be my last! Everyone loved their dish, and the portion sizes were massive for great prices too! Food tasted so fresh as well. The girl who served me was lovely and it was obvious they were busy but she was still super kind and I wish I’d had more change to give them a better tip!!! All in all a 5 star experience and we will definitely be back.

Visited Ayr for Burns Night weekend after a dreich day doing the sightseeing in the end was too tired to go out for Burns Night! After reading reviews of Ayr takeaways I opted for Enzo's having also missed out on going in the night before after a night in the Twa Dugs! I love lasagne so couldnt resist, went for the meal deal for one. Portion of chips, garlic bread and a pasta or pizza sorted!! It was delicious, very large portion so I munched my way through the excellent chips , and garlic bread, and decided to just have a wee bit of the lasagne as already full, and take it home with me on the train the next day!! Photo below! Really recommended Enzo's cant wait to get food from there when I'm next up!!

Everything I've had ,has been brilliant ,and staff really nice .everything cooked fresh.have tried all the chip shops in ayr and this is the best value for money

What a brilliant surprise, came in one night for some pasta and fish and chips with friends and was absolutely blown away! Amzing food and great atmosphere too even got chatting with the frier, he made it extra crispy for me. Will definitely be back.

Been in this shop many many times. Never had a bad meal,everything is so fresh,tasty and would highly recommend it to anyone. The best chippy in Ayr. The staff treat you like family lol. Maybe as I'm a very regular customer,cant find fault with anything. Keep up the good work

This was on an app. Absolute bargain new deal prices. We ordered a bundle of food and it was under £15. Really impressed with the speed, quality and taste.

Was looking for something to be delivered due to weather. Ordered pasta and could not believe the generous portions. Delivered hot with a smile and tasted great. Would certainly order again

It's the best, Italian tasting pasta and pizza. Can't fault it! It was a lucky find! We have tried Enzo Pasta, carbonara, arrabiata and the pizzas. All were so delicious and very generous portion sizes too.

I have been a regular customer in Enzo’s since they opened in September and I have NEVER been disappointed by any of the food or service provided yet! A welcoming antmosphere and very friendly and hard working staff who are always happy to help. Authentic Italian pizzas and pastas and fish and chips always made fresh when you order and are always delicious and full of flavour- I think I have tried most of the items on the menu now and have never been let down yet. Chips always so tasty, special fish- amazing, Enzo’s pasta is lovely and Focaccia Della Casa from the pizza menu is so light and fluffy and perfect as a side order as well as the other Italian sides menu. The pizza is incredible, nothing like I ever tasted before! All Food is to die for, Enzo’s is exactly what the town needed. Keep up the good work guys! Very satisfied customer.
