Vito's in South Ayrshire

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food incredible, fairly priced and the staff couldn't be nicer. A lovely atmosphere inside with trendy decor.

2nd visit to vito's. Looking forward to returning. The food served here is top class, with a lot of attention payed to presentation. 2 courses for £12.95 is fantastic value for such quality.you realise your having a special meal that has been thoughtfully prepared by a talented chef. Have to mention also that the service provided was excellent on both occasions that my wife, and I have attended.wish I could have complimented my meal with a nice glass of wine, but unfortunately have to drive to get there.worth every mile, and every penny. Well done vito's. Very rare for me to say I'm impressed.

Awesome family meal at vitos. Great service that was only excelled by the food. The goats cheese pizza was fantastic and my daughter demolished the tempura. Will definitely be back ASAP

We visited twice last week and it was first class. Food was tasty, well presented and hot. Service was first class and the staff were very warm and friendly...highly recommend. Hope they will be soon back up and running again as they so deserve to be.

Visited Vitos in Prestwick last night after reading recent reviews about how good the food was. I was a little disappointed... staff were great! Very attentive, even allocated us a table early as we arrived 30 minutes before our booking....it was the food that couldn’t live up to the previous reviews! I ordered piccanto pizza and it was just ok. Bit water logged from cooking the fresh peppers... my partner ordered the grilled chicken with garlic butter and his was presented beautifully. Chicken a little over cooked though and he had a side of chips which I’d have expected fries but got chunky chips that were undercooked. Id recommend that if your staying in Prestwick and looking for places to eat I’d give this place a go but don’t expect amazing food as the previous reviews lead you to believe!

Lovely place for lunch, very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Menu had a great and varied selection. I opted for pizza with some sides and it was brilliant, able to cater for dietary requirements and the portion sizes where very big so no complaints from me! Staff where very helpful and welcoming and were not pushy at all - would love to go back.

The food was amazing. The crispy poached egg with wild mushrooms and garlic toast was delicious. Carbonara really authentic and tasted Devine. Homemade chilli chicken pizza superb.

Stayed at the nearby Crofthead Holiday park and was looking on trip advisor for nearby good eats decided on Vito’s! 2 adults and 2 children arrived on the late Saturday afternoon was busy and we got sat at the back where it was quiet which we enjoyed with kids! The staff were all so lovely even my oldest boy commented saying everyone was so nice! Great value for money we ordered from the 2 course for roughly £13 menu! Absolutely amazing value!! 2 adults cleared their plates! Kids meals fresh and tasty!! Restaurant was modern and relaxed atmosphere! We both commented that we would take the drive back one weekend with the kids, rare to find somewhere that both adults and kids enjoy for dinner!

I often start with minestrone soup at Italian Restaurants as it is often a reasonable guide to the rest of the food. There must be various recipes used as this particular variant was only average at best. Pleased to say the main pasta dishes were very tasty, two with beef, one with seafood, although it wasn’t possible to have the beef cooked to medium rare probably as it is already prepared as a single meal. The staff were friendly and efficient. I am always suspicious when adverse reports are made as the first report on trip advisor. You must reach your own conclusions.....Potentially vulnerable groups by age/medical conditions should really enquire as to the specific arrangements before booking.

Took my mum and partner for a meal. We were treated like royalty and they made a big fuss of my mum as it was her birthday. It’s so hard to find a good Italian but this restaurant is the real deal. The food was authentic, fresh and you can tell they take pride in the presentation and quality. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. You need to try this restaurant. We traveled from Glasgow on a recommendation from a friend and we are so glad we did

What can be said sat down asked what drinks we wanted.was given a bottle of bud with the neck snapped off and was told sorry tried to open it didnt realise it was a twist top.it be ok no glass went in it . Cannot believe it was actually bought to the table.to top it a dirty glass followed by a few sarcastic comments from staff because i complained.i didn't mention the broken stake knife .the half served meal with no rice was met with the comment i don't no if that comes with rice i never took your order.customer service absolutely shocking customer facing staff need a reality check.its not even like it was busy the place was half empty.will not be returning any time soon.

We had an excellent meal with great service and care allowing for Covid restrictions. Menu is varied with good choices including a set two course excellent value. Food was well prepared and served.

My husbnd and I went for a late lunch, meal was so good and portions big I had nothing else the rest of the day. Would fully recommend

We went on the eat out deal and had a lovely 2 course meal and soft drinks for 2 for £17 which was amazing value and delicious. I had the bruschetta to start and macaroni and chips for main . Huge portions and struggled to finish it . Definitely recommend and felt safe staff had their masks on and were very friendly

Decided to go to Prestwick beach with my 2 kids and we came across this restaurant on here. It has a lot of good reviews so decided to have an early dinner here.Service was good.Food was very fresh and flavoursome.Value for money: Not the cheapest place to eat but cheap doesn't mean best!Would I go back again: yep definitely!Would I recommend you visit: yep definitely!

So disappointed. I have previously submitted rave reviews for Vitos. Tonight was my first "to go" experience and it was not good.I ordered spaghetti bolognese and cheesy garlic bread. What I got was tagliatelle bolognese and doughy garlic bread. I'm not a fan of tagliatelle so the whole lot ended up in the bin.Really disappointing. Maybe just an off night but I'm not sure I would order to go again.D

3 of us popped in for dinner, we chose the £12.95 2 course menu. Starters of pate, tempura and ham Hough fritters and mains of carbonara, lasagne and macaroni. All were hot and tasty, we ate everything. Shouldn't be too long before we pop back!

Sunday lunch for my son`s visit from down south. Lovely food freshly prepared and tasty. Wife picky on lasagne but well pleased. Calamari and burger for me. Cannot remember the rest! Staff attentiver and nothing a bother. Thanks for a pleasant afternoon.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and really liked it. Lovely welcome and attentive service. Menu in my opinion a little limited but really enjoyed what I chose. Would recommend

Fantastic service and delicious, authentic food once again. Food was hot, fresh, and full of flavour. Pizza, pasta, steak, deserts, coffee, wine, all contributed to a perfect experience.

The problem I have with many Italian restaurants in the UK is their inability to cook pasta correctly, with one waitress even asking me what I meant by "al dente". This is (thankfully) not the case at Vito's, where I was served up authentic Italian pasta that was perfectly cooked and packed with flavour.

My wife and I went today 18/10/19 for a 2 course lunch. This is our first time eating here and certainly will not be our last. The staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We chose a 2 course option and the food was excellent. The soup which we both had was very tasty, never felt rushed and the pasta main courses were very nice also with a very good portion size. Would highly recommend and we will be back very soon.

Had a lovely evening here on a Friday. Atmosphere good, the staff were friendly and efficient without being in your face and the food was very tasty! It’s been my place of choice since the demise of Elliots, and I will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Been to Vito's twice now. I can't fault anything about it. The food is excellent, fresh-tasting, a good choice and nicely presented. The staff are attentive and friendly but not intrusive. At last, a decent Italian restaurant in Ayrshire!

Had a surprise visit to Vitos and it was fantastic. The food was delicious. All our party had different meals and each one was delicious. The service was excellent. I don't think it's as popular as some of the bigger restaurants (The Vine), but I'll tell you this the food is better.

Visited at 5pm and enjoyed great 2 course meal from specials menu. Food was fresh and tasty, good value with excellent service.

We booked in advance after recommendation and we were not disappointed. Welcomed by friendly attentive staff whose service did not falter all night .They were knowledgable about their menu with excellent recommendations. Once the food arrived it was excellent as were the drinks.

We went here on a quiet Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised. The tapas menu had a varied selection and vegetarian friendly options. The food was delicious and service was good. Will definitely return.

As a nearby business, this is our Tuesday (and sometimes Thursday too) takeaway treat. The £4 lunch takeaway menu has only six or seven items but the penne pollo, rigatoni salsichia and rigatoni piccanti are always full of flavour and well worth the money. Go onto the full menu and rigatoni romano and the double pepperoni pizzas for £6 are still great value.

Went on Saturday afternoon with our kids and grandparents. Food was all good. Great portion sizes. Kids pizza was almost as big as the adult. Everything was really fresh. Our only grievance was with the bell from the kitchen. It was totally relentless, so off putting and quickly became incredibly annoying. Would have hated to be in the restaurant when it was any busier and it was ringing more frequently.

Went here recently for dinner and were greeted by pleasant staff and seated in a large booth.

We had lunch here. They offer a 2 course set menu which looks really good but we chose from the a la carte. Great service and amazing food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely welcome on entering. No one else in the restaurant when we arrived but that soon changed.

My sisters and I were on a girls day and started here for lunch. The 2 course special lunch was great value and lots to choose from. All thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly and efficient

Arrived Friday evening 7pm without a booking. Warmly welcomed and shown to a table. Immediately got the vibe this was a very friendly and relaxed place. Food was delicious but the real stars of the show are the staff. Very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back.

I’m a hard critic when it comes to food/service, both were great. We had the 12.95 menu which was fab. No complaints service/food gets my points however the table of 6 people next to us seemed very fussy but the team handled them well, look forward to going back soon.

Took the family out for dinner at Vito's last night and it was fantastic. Great food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff, in fact I can't remember the last time I came across a restaurant staff as nice and pleasant as that.

I received excellent food and service in a delightfull environment also a waitress ran outside to give me my phone and lipstick which had dropped out of my handbag I will certainly return many more times and I feel sure you will receive excellent food and service also!!!!

My partner and I love visiting Vito’s. The staff are always warm, friendly and very helpful - nothing is ever any trouble. The food is always fresh and delicious. There’s nowhere I would recommend higher than Vito’s.

From the moment I called Vito's they were very accommodating as not everywhere accommodates parties over 12 people. I explained the group were on a Hen Night but that everyone would be on their best behaviour. The service recieved was second to none, from information regarding the menu to follow up phone calls to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night.

Such a nice restaurant. Staff very friendly and accomodating and the food is absolutely amazing. The best pizza we have ever had!! Great sized portions and very reasonably priced. We will be regular customers

Went for lunch and decided to try the Chicetti menu ordered the chorizo and black pudding bon bons the calamari and the spicy nduja potatoes everything was perfectly cooked and delicious will definitely be back service was excellent as well

Relaxed calm atmosphere, staff very attentive and seem to enjoy pleasing their customers. The food is amazing! Very clean presentable restaurant. Me and my OH often enjoy a treat night here when we can afford it. Great choices on the menu but a bit pricey! You definitely get what you pay for though :-)

I booked to meet with friends and mentioned at time of booking I was Coeliac and was pleased to see the Gluten Free Menu was already looked out for me. I normally dine in Ayr Vitos where I am looked after by Miriam and Anita who knows I love Contadino pasta, I asked if on the off chance the chef would make it for me and was delighted when they agreed, it was delicious and I appreciated the extra effort. I was also offered Spaghetti Bolognaise as an alternative to Arriabiata. Food was well presented and tasty, staff were attentive and friendly. I would love to see more choice on the GF menu as I previously dined regularly in Vitos before being diagnosed Coeliac. My only critisism would be more choice of GF options particularly without fish, at the moment the menu is very restricting for me as I don't like fish. Well done Vitos!!

We had a delicious two course meal with a bottle of Chardonnay, excellent service and all in all a really nice dining experience. No negatives, ifs, or buts, HOWEVER !!! We asked on three occasions for black pepper as the young waiter said he did not think he was allowed to leave the black pepper grinder on our table. SALT was in abundance but as we all know it really does need to be regulated, as an intake. Not sure what the thinking was but yes would return no problem to this fine restaurant but armed with our own stash of fine ground black pepper instead of over-seasoning with table salt as provided... a mute point perhaps.......we’ll done on service, food quality and quantity and complements to the chef. Many thanks.

I have to admit that we visit this restaurant far more than we should. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Prestwick area, even more in Ayr, but we keep coming back to Vito's. Every time we have been in, the food has been perfection, with a great choice even on the set menu. We are always surprised when the bill comes, as it is always a lot less than we expect. The service is top notch also - the waiters are friendly without being too overly familiar. We have tried pretty much every restaurant in the surrounding area, but nothing has compared to Vito's.

A very pleasant and relaxed visit to a fairly new addition to the Prestwick food scene. This family run business has had an existing restaurant in nearby Ayr for a number of years, and both offer a very similar menu, with a range of well cooked and well seasoned dishes - they offer a couple of Veal options that are delicious, and the pizza is excellent!

Dropped in with friends while out shopping ....festive menu 2 or 3 courses..minestrone soup,salmon and daube of beef were all delicious .....followed by raspberry ripple cheesecake 😋😋 good service and reasonable prices .

Very mixed feelings about here and it is mostly down to the manager unfortunately. We asked for a booking at 8pm on a Saturday night, and was told it would have to be 8:30pm. Ok, that's good, it must be busy... When we arrived there were 4 people in the restaurant split between 2 tables, and around 15 tables empty. We decided to stay against the wishes of 2 of the group. The young waiter we had was amazing, very patient and chatty. What annoyed us was the manager was over looking every interaction we had, and basically grilling the waiter on what we said, "what happened there?" etc.

Have been to this new Italian in Prestwick a few times now, the service and food outstanding. There two meal deal is great value and with drinks and coffee, less than £40.00 for two.

Visited with my parents last week for a celebration meal. The service was fast and very friendly and the food was delicious. I often go to Vito's in Ayr for their lovely pizzas so I was delighted to learn they were opening up in Prestwick. The food is just as good as in Ayr - lovely, quality fresh ingredients. They do takeaway as well.

Visited the new Vitos in Prestwick with my family including 2 young children for my birthday. We got the early bird deal which was great value and a lot of food! As a massive pizza lover, I have always said that Vitos does the best pizza in Ayrshire and now there is a Vitos on my doorstep! I have been back since and had two takeaways and each time it has been brilliant.

A fantastic new addition to Prestwick. Despite being packed out, staff were friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious! Loved the decor too - would highly recommend.

We’ve visited this restaurant for years (used to be called Cecchinis) and always found the food good, well-priced, and really friendly staff. A big draw for us was the ‘kids eat free’ menu as it reduced the price of a family meal and made this a real destination restautant for family occasions. This has now changed and a kid’s meal costs £4.95, which isn’t unreasonable in a good restaurant but the portion sizes leave a lot to be desired. It’s meant to feed under-12s but my seven-year-old was left feeling hungry afterwards. Come on Vito’s, it’s only pasta, no need to be so mean with portions!

Fab food, fab staff, fab pizza! Tempura was also amazing, clearly made fresh to order as batter was so crisp! Will be back

Like the branch in Ayr, this is a very tasty take on Italian food. Delicious main and pudding when we've been. Definitely try the salmon!

Went for lunch today with my family, it's a nice we restaurant with pleasant staff. Was disappointed as it was not really much of an Italian restaurant the was actually very little Italian about the menu at all offering French bread instead of Italian was disappointing really expected to see more Italian food in an Italian restaurant.

Had an enjoyable family meal for 8 of us. Good service, good food and value for money. Would recommend.
