The Garden in South Ayrshire

I went here with my partner for an evening meal and was very disappointed following the number of positive comments from other diners. The food felt extremely processed and the chicken was extremely tough and overcooked in both of our dishes. The decor is nice and the beer was good but the food was not. The staff are very attentive but overall I was unimpressed.

Home delivery. Food arrived hot and was delicious, both the delivery driver and person who took the order very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Will be ordering again.

Good quality carry out. Nice people. Portions are large, three dishes enough for 3 to share, with a bit left, for more!! Recommended.

Having seen some great reviews thought I would give it a try. So disappointed. I ordered salt and chilli chicken wings and pad Thai chicken. Both were just stodge and full of onions with the pad Thai having no depth of flavour, just a pile of chilli flakes thrown on the top corner for heat. Didn't taste fresh at all and couldn't eat much of it in the end. They only take cash and when I spoke to delivery guy he said it would be quite difficult to do deliveries using card unless we gave details over the phone! And? (Where have they been for past few years?!) C'mon Troon there's a gap in the market for real authentic Asian cuisine, like I had recently in Morar in the Highlands of all places!

Really Nice Chinese Food, With Very Friendly Staff, highly recommended. The restaurant has really good theme throughout.

We have used this fairly new Chinese restaurant in Troon on several occasions for both carry-out and dining in. Each time the food has been excellent (the best we have ever eaten ) and the service prompt and friendly. Our most recent experience was really good and our friends were very impressed. Many thanks to Sherry and Caitlin ( our servers ) for their friendliness and attentive service.

Lunch for My Mother and sister and I We arrived here in Troon today and happened across this absolute gem of a place lunch was very reasonable priced, What a really warm welcome we got from Melanie friendly, helpful first class service. What a fantastic start to our weekend in troon

Visited The Garden on Saturday the 1st of July with four friends, and everyone of us left with a smile on our faces and fully belly’s. The food and service was first class and the restaurant its self was immaculate. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back.

Tonight we went to The Garden in Troon for a meal. The service is excellent, very attentive staff but not intrusive. The food was excellent with a choice of two menus. I highly recommend this place. Also great value for money. Good to have an alternative restaurant in the Town

The meal was lovely, chosen from the pre theatre menu but portions were very good. Service was fast and precise. Restaurant has a nice theme and is very relaxed. Great for taking friends too. Will definitely be back.

This place had just opened for sit in so decided to give it a try as a friend had a few take aways and recommended it to me.Although Chinese is not my favourite type of food decided to give it a go. The place is nice with friendly staff and when food came i have to say was fantastic i had fillet steak with black pepper sauce also had the duck with plum and a beef curry and everything was spot on staff were really good and friendly will definitely be returning in the near future.

Phoned to order a collection the lady on the other end of phone seemed friendly and pleasant and called me when my dinner was ready, which she did after 10 minutes. I got chicken and chilli with honey sauce and boiled rice which tastes fantastic. This is my first time getting food from The Garden it opened a couple of weeks ago will definitely be back.

One of the best I’ve had in a long time. The lass who answers the phone needs to calm down. If your taking payment for food, my food, don’t tell me to hold on and answer the phone ? !

We thought we would try this new Chinese restaurant as it has just opened, we phoned in our order for a collection but we were told it would be 1 hour before we could pick it up. It was extremely busy and the food was still piping hot when we got it home. The food was very nice and portion sizes were ok apart from 2 things, the onion rings were extremely salty, we couldn't eat them and we were given a tiny tub of curry sauce, barely enough for 1 person. It's worth giving it a go.
