The best restaurants in North East Scotland

Nice enough hotel, comfy if rather warm room, breakfast was ok but having to order fried eggs and other breakfast standard items separately didn’t really work.

We stay regularly and it is my favourite hotel in Aberdeen. The staff are absolutely super. Really professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms are great (although I do prefer the shower to the shower/bath and shower curtain option!). A great hotel and Hilton should be proud of this one.

So packed in now and chairs cannot be pushed back to get in. Sharp practice of serving large coffees at obviously higher prices when only a coffee had been ordered. Yes, there are two sizes but the server should ask!

Great wee place, food was brilliant and waiting staff were very good with my little daughter. Good environment. Will defiantly be returning.

Came here for dinner recently. Macaroni was tasty, highlander burger as well was good, however the chips were a bit of a let down. Portion sizing for both meals was different, chips felt as if they were straight from a frozen packet you would buy at the shops. If not a fan of football, would not recommend going on a Saturday night and sitting in pub area if football is on. Overall was not too bad.

Quality food and service. Highly recommend!

THE BEST FOOD in Turriff they deserve 5 stars

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Tor-Na-Coille. It is an amazing place in a fantastic setting. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful and friendly . The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was amazing. We Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and we will be back .

Famous for a reason. Right in the middle of old architecture this small pub sports local taps that include several nitro and three cask conditioned. Also registered with CAMRA Their Whisky selection is incredible and the staff know a lot about their collection. Everything is reasonably priced and everyone was friendly. A must stop place.

Great staff who helped us celebrate a family birthday

God Atmosfære, og god servering. Maten var ikke helt til å rope hurra for. Vi bestilte eggnudler med kylling i østerssaus, den var god. Vi bestilte panang m/ kylling som veldig sterk( vi er vandt med sterk mat) og smakte ellers ikke noe særlig. Vi bestilte også pad thai, den var helt smakløs, ingen smak av tamarind eller sesampaste. Det smakte som gammel olje og luktet som et dårlig avløp.

Lovely tapas - cheese bruschetta was amazing. Burger plentiful and good ingredients. Good pricing Great friendly and down to earth service.
