Wings Wednesday scam, service so bad.

The home of Brewdog, stayed in a hotel about 2 miles away. Beer was ok, unfortunately they hadn’t updated Untapped for a couple of days so some the beers I was expecting were not on. But the service was excellent, beers weee good, I have the cauliflower buffalo wings and they were really moorish.

Always Excellent service from friendly staff. Always a good place to eat and a really tasty menu.

We attended the beer school. The staff were lovely - Ewan really knew his stuff and was an amazing guide who presented a really informative session. The staff were very accommodating - we had our elderly dog with us and they allowed him to use the lift, brought him water etc. Very dog friendly and there are lots of accessible options.

Thank you souch to all the staff at Dogtap for looking after us today. Absolutely brilliant, table of 12 and nothing was touch trouble for them. Made our family outing so very special. Big thanks to Erin and her team

Good food, great company, would go again

I had a Hazy Jane and the Spicy Meaty pizza. The staff accommodated food intolerance by switching to vegan cheese. I attended on crutches and found that the restaurant was very accessible, featuring a lift to the 1st floor. This is a dog-friendly establishment, with dogs allowed inside.

Fast friendly service. The Beyond Burger was fantastic. Now they have a different burger, also great. The Vegan Pizza I had recently was very good. Punked Vegan Jackfruit Pepperoni. Also the Cesar chucked salad was excellent according to the wife. Dog friendly too, which was vital for us as we were in Ellon in our camper from Oxford.

As an EFP shareholder I was major disappointed, here. It was my birthday today (which now lies in ruins having made a wasted journey) as I was looking forward to an all round experience, especially as I had travelled from Inverness today, where I'm based this week, to see the place. The distillery looks impressive enough outside. Still, hardly any sense of engagement with me as a customer. Why aren't customers given a glimpse into the brewing process outside tours ? Eg, a transparent view of the brewing area ? There wasn't any more choice than my local Brewdog pubs in Glasgow. Some of the same beers on tap, as there has been for months in other pubs !! A major disappointment was the almost lack of imaginative merchandise I want to see being sold to advertise the product. The Museum was practically non existent as well. Never tried the food, though I dare say it woud've been good. Can't say I'll be back, certainly not in this Brewdog. Unacceptable.

Such a cool brewery! We loved the vibes, food, and merch!

Frequent here quite often but the past few times I have been very disappointed with the service and experience. Staff don't have the same enthusiasm as they did. During one visit we had asked for two drinks which were taking over 15 minutes. The place wasn't busy and we were sat outside. I went in to see where they were and two members of staff standing behind the bar, arms crossed and yapping while my two drinks were poured and just sitting on the bar. I took them myself. Just very disappointing as the staff used to be one of the highlights of the visit.

Good food, excellent beer, kid friendly and very relaxed.

Food was delicious! The vegetarian Burger with pumpkin and quinoa was the best we ever had. The coleslaw was too mayonnaisey. Only thing was service was slow. Likely because the place is huge and staff have to walk long distances.

We really enjoyed our tour here. Our guide Ewan was knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot about the history of the company, and enjoyed some very tasty beer along the way. We enjoyed dinner afterwards as well. Highly recommend.

Great family dining experience. Booked for a Saturday night, managed to get a booth table downstairs. Very busy but plenty to see and people watching soon past the time. Ordered food and drinks.. Good choice of food , great choice of beers. Both arrived in due course. Really enjoyed the food, beer even better. Tried the 15%+ beer( it was very easy to drink considering the alcoholic value) Actually had a 2nd one too.. Great time, staff amazing, atmosphere top drawer. It's not cheap, but it's worth it for the whole experience. Definitely be back, shame it's 350 miles away.

Won’t recommend, run out of beef burgers so we go chicken burgers and it was extremely dry… service very slow and waiting very long for food

Finally visited the home of Brewdog The brewery tour was interesting Craig the guide was wonderful I was lucky there were only 3 on the tour but he didn't skip or rush through any thing 👍

Drove up from Glasgow dropped in because they have gluten free options for wife who is coeliac absolutely no options 😅there menu has nothing apart from salad everything else has traces or cooked in beside gluten products don't bother if you have coeliac

Not a fan of Brewdog as I was dissapointed with the Captain and his alleged treatment of staff. However, Elvis juice has turned my head.

More place to drink than to eat

We waited an unreasonably long time at arrival in Dog Tap to be seated. Waitress said she'd check if the table was clean then took us to the table. It had been given a cursory wipe over but still had food on the floor as well as on the table and seats. We asked for it to be cleaned properly, again another wipe over (withe the sale cloth used to wipe the floor) but wasn't clean. Eventually got given a different table which was just about acceptable. Food was edible albeit overpriced. £14 for a pretty mediocre salad which is padded out with salad leaves is a bit of a rip off. Thankfully had a voucher and glad I didn't pay full price. The whole place felt dirty and needed deep cleaned. Service was slow in general. Asked for bill and waited about 10mins before being told I need to go to the bar to pay. Live locally and hadn't been in Dog Tap for about a year. Will be another year at least before I'm back. A shame that a place which started quite well is going downhill. Following a similar pattern to the previous iteration of the original Dog Tap.

This was our first time here and parking was very easy , a table was pre booked and we were given plenty time to decide what we wanted to eat , three of our party ordered ceasar salad and there was far too much greenery and not enough chicken , i had the pancakes and there could have been more maple syrup , when our coffee came , all had to be returned because they were all cold and i mean cold , as far as value for money , i would say a bit over priced and it may be a while before we go back if at all .

Great place to enjoy a beer at the heart of Brewdog. The venue is welcoming with comfortable seating and plenty to look at and do! Big selection of beer as fresh as it can be straight from the brewery next door

We found a Brewdog pub in Tokyo! Every bit as good....the beer travels well.

Been wanting to visit here for years and finally took a few hours drive to visit. Very disappointed. I visited the Berlin brewery a couple of years ago and loved it and expected HQ to be even better. Nothing really here. Just a bar and tables with a little seating area as you walk in. Went in the museum bit but nothing in it apart from few pictures on wall. Berlin had shuffleboard and other things. Nothing like that here. Service was poor. Had to wait for table as you go in but no one on desk so stood there for nearly 10 mins. Lots of tables with dirty plates just sitting there. Very slow service getting food etc. Food was nice as was the beer but the service let it down. I asked a member of staff who served me if I had missed something as I thought be more to see here but she said no just the museum but she said she doesn't normally work there so didn't know the place, would think being HQ the staff would be passionate about the brand. Place is OK if your local but don't bother making a long journey to visit as you will be disappointed. Won't return and really put me off the brand I've loved for so long.

Was looking for a place to eat nearby and decided to give it a try. I never tried BrewDog before and it was a great surprise. The service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious too. I like how they have many vegetarian options. I tried the Temple of Seitan wings with the blue sauce and it was delicious.

Vast choice of beers on tap from the old legendary craft beer. Possibility of tasting four different borres. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The idea of ​​the store is good but I expected more choice that you can't find elsewhere.

Drink black heart and cider lovely stout mixed .have from super market £4.72 for 4 cans.lovely and smooth with a one of its own taste .

Super cool place, don't let the industrial park fool you this is a great place to relax with friends and eat. They have plenty of things to do and dogs are welcome.

The best brewdog. Been let down by other venues but the ellon dogtap is consistently good with good staff and great seating areas.

Popped in for a few beers, staff very friendly and welcoming. Proactively offered me a few samples, clearly very knowledgeable about the beers being served, which seems to be the norm at BrewDog bars. Easy enough to get to from Aberdeen, buses run frequently. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again.

As always, the food and beer were spot on.

Really nice food and service. Sat upstairs which was really nice. Played one of their boardgames and was able to take our dog. Staff very friendly and attentive. The men loved the beers.

Went here via the X60 from Aberdeen which was very handy. If you go via this method ask for a return as this will save you some money. The BrewDog itself was very large but still had a nice feel to it. We had pre-booked so we could take advantage of buy one burger get one for £1 which is a brilliant deal and the burgers were delicious. Great selection of brewdog beers and a few guest craft beers. Attentive and friendly service. Lots to look at and they have planned activities which you have to book for in advance.

Not visited. I live in Derbyshire and just enjoying my first ever Brewdog at home. A very nice drop indeed! Good luck to you👍

You think you're loosing money now, wait until you cut your staff wages, your key staff will leave effectively stressing the business, I've seen it before, look after your staff that's the priority. Your beer is good and one of my favourite drinks but there are other producers out there 😜

Really great place for food and drink. Whole family very welcome (including the dog!) Upstairs is particularly good with the bar games and the like. As a side note, if you're in your mid-30s, the music is on point 👌

Nice place, staff very friendly and attentive. First pint of punk ipa was flat, like it had been poured 20 minutes previously. Second pint had some life, but not as good as I get in wetherspoons. Last of all I ordered buffalo fries. All I can say is, drop the cheese sauce stuff, its horrible. And the food was luke warm, arrived 3 minutes after ordering. Nice place, but I won't be back, thanks...

Very disappointing and ruined our night out. We visited one evening between Christmas and New Year. Whilst it was busy there were still empty tables. We ordered starters and drinks and explained that we would order main courses based on how full we felt as we had no idea of the portion size. We then decided to share a pizza and more drinks with a view to buying a bottle of rum, but no-one came near our table. We sat with empty plates and glasses for an hour before someone finally came to our table and asked if we would like more drinks. We explained our unhappiness, asked for the bill and left. For a place that's as much about the experience as the food and atmosphere there were seriously lacking in service. Staff don't appear to have allocated tables and nobody looks around to check for empty plates and glasses or to allow you to get their attention. The only way would be to get up and stand in front of them. Some table appear to have QR codes that can be used to order and pay.

First time we have been and would recommend. Nice atmosphere, great your dogs are welcome. My granddaughter loved it and we will be back for sure.

The staff was extremely helpful. We missed our tour so they offered compensation for our meal instead. And definitely recommend checking it out for the food and beer selection. Amazing place.

Terrible meal at brew dog ellon today I ordered triple pancakes and only one was edible the rest were raw x awful

Accidentally realised we were near here so decided to pop in - ended up having a meal with drinks. Excellent menu and of course if you like beer, welcome to your heaven.

Called in because we love the dark ales. Trendy place, friendly staff. Bit loud as many families with small children. Dog friendly.

Kids eat free was an absolute winner!

Storm Babet reduced customer number, but still a great 'steam punk' vibe. Food excellent, customer service top notch.

The Patriot burger not great very salty and a bit overcooked as opposed to previous visits where food has been good. But the worst thing was the smokey air and going home stinking of a bonfire ☹️

Food was very slow in arriving and I actually had to ask at front desk, how much longer it would take! It was only grilled brunch. My friend's eggs looked like something from a joke factory. He commented that they also tasted like something from a joke factory!! His "Bacon" was more fat than meat I chose the vegan option but sourdough bread was hard, cold and would have required a hacksaw to cut it. The whole experience was ruined by the the continuous barking of 2 springer spaniels with their irresponsible owners. In retrospect, we will not e returning any time soon. I appreciate brewdog is a dog friendly establishment but this of mixing pets and food and soft furnishings does not constituent a pleasant nor hygienic dining experience. Won't be back to this rather overpriced pub grub place, any time in the near future.

Fantastic ideas, unforgettable atmosphere, something different

We are regular visitors, but took family visiting from NZ here, unfortunately the Caesar salad was very small, sad and tasteless. Again another visit where food was cold/tepid, fries, burgers, pizza, Korean chicken, etc for a cover of 7 people on a Monday night this could have been a bit better.

Disappointed with the food. My chicken cold in the buffalo burger. Partners hoppy meal had to go back as burger pink!! Chips cold. 2nd one hot & cooked thankfully (in fairness offered a free drink as an apology) Drinks good, staff great & our server very friendly & helpful. Food not great. We would visit again but not eat! Branding good. Need to check toilets more as no toilet roll

We got the bus out of Aberdeen to visit the BrewDog Dog Tap. It was well worth the trip. We had a good choice of beer and food as you would expect,as it's the H.Q. for BrewDog.

This place has topped our expectations. Coming from Italy, I can confirm that the calabrese pizza was authentic 👌 burger was simply amazing. Staff are super friendly and nice. BTW we won a dessert playing rock paper scissors ... 10/10

It's a great place to visit & enjoy the best atmosphere

We visited for a brewery tour. Staff were friendly on arrival for our tour but then we were forgotten about. Anyway we got that sorted and got on the tour. The tour was excellent with Dan. We sorted out the missed pre-tour welcome drink and all was good. Unfortunately we were told no available tables to have some food and none bookable until 9pm. Our fault for not thinking to book for a Saturday. Luckily the weather was conducive to sitting at the outdoor tables to eat and the food was great. However in all the time we were there, several tables had nobody sitting/eating at them. I find it bizarre that we couldn’t have had one of those. Hence marked down a star for service.

Great staff who knew their beers and gave excellent recommendations. The tasters led to purchases, especially the Rum & Raisin Stout, like Christmas Pudding in a glass! Spicy Deluxe and Buffalo Chicken burgers were excellent.

Great choice of food, but unfortunately it arrived to the table cold, not sure what the problem was maybe a shortage of staff getting food out when it's ready, good atmosphere but was cold on not a particularly warm morning

Essen ok, stylisch nett angerichtet, geschmacklich durchschnittlich. Burger leider zäh. Interior passend modern industrial - hat mir gut gefallen. Die gedruckte Karte gibt mehr her als man via Tisch-qr-Code ordern kann, also dann doch oldschool bei einer der netten Damen bestellt. Merchandising Artikel neben der Bar leider nur begrenzt Auswahl. Schade dafür den weiten Weg nach Ellon, das war dann etwas enttäuschend.

We hadn't booked a table but they managed to find us one (sorry didn't catch her name), we were starving after the tour and were not disappointed. So many vegetarian and vegan options, my tummy was very happy

Amazing site, with a huge taproom, and regular brewery tours which were informative and interesting. 10/10 will go again.

Enjoyed pizza and applewood poutine puffs with a few beers, while listening to some great music on Saturday. EGM day so was really busy however booked seats and got served quickly. Great choice of food and drink, immaculately clean, lovely toilets, ticks every box and not too far from the park and ride station.

Excellent food, excellent staff and excellent service. We were there on Sunday afternoon (ostensibly to get our dog's photograph taken) and decided to stay for a bite to eat. While we hadn't booked the staff were fantastic at getting us a table and looking after us throughout our time there. Will definitely be back.

I was up from Glasgow with my brother for the EGM and seen Fatherson, Dead Pony, Dancing on Tables and Honeyblood. There was an outdoor and indoor seated area for the band's then we went to dogtap for food and more beers, great selection and food delicious. Will definitely be back.

Lovely place with modern decor and nice food options. Of course, dogs are welcome, which is always a plus. There is a lot of seating space so even if you call and they say they are full, I'd recommend giving it a shot. We went on a Saturday at around 13:30 and even though they said they were fully booked when we called, and seemed really busy when we went, they were more than happy to accommodate the four of us as walk ins.

Food was good and came quickly although the portion size for the burgers was a little small. The halloumi pizza was very good and a good size.

De tour is zeker een aanrader. Terwijl je veel informatie krijgt over het bedrijf en het brouwproces krijg je eerdere keren ook een biertje om te proeven. Onze tour gids, Dan, deed het erg goed en vertelde alles duidelijk en was enthousiast. Hierna in de bar gegeten. Personeel zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Eten was heerlijk en is echt eten wat goed past bij het bier!

Very fun experience getting to see BrewDog HQ. We ate a ton of excellent food and got to try out various beers. The staff were top notch, so friendly and attentive and really made the extra difference. Easy access from Aberdeen and parking out front. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area.

On entering we weren't hosted by anybody. We found our own table (122) and preceded to both try use the app setup but it didn't work. Went to the bar with only one person at the bar but was busy cleaning/ making coffees but didn't acknowledge I was at the bar so i decided to try the app again. No luck so last call was bar so lucky enough I got served, finally!! Table service was good afterwards but maybe because we ordered onion rings!! As usual 1 pint isn't enough and being a share holder I thought I might as well enjoy another. App again didn't work so walked up to the bar to be met by 2 staff members working away but not serving! One was intent on filling the dishwasher and the other seemed to faf about filling PUNK IPA cans paying no attention to myself at the bar. This went on for a couple minutes until I was graced with an elderly gentlemen to my right. We both waited for a further 4 minutes with no contact from staff but we finally got word that they would be with us in 1 minute. That minute passed and we both looked at each other! We both started to think whats going on. A lady then approached the bar and asked for drinks while the barman was still sorting his IPA cans. The barman immediately served her with no consideration for the 2 gentlemen standing at the bar for 10 mins. I watched this unfold and decided to walk away and say to my wife "can we please leave" after our agreement we preceeded to the door where we found no staff. In our annoyance we found a staff member to settle our bill. We advised our disappointment but she didn't seem to care maybe because our body language was causing a scene! I have shares in brewdog and have always enjoyed the locations. Ellon should be the top location since its the home of Brewdog but it definitely doesn't live up to it on the visit. To be standing at an empty bar for 10 mins when there's 2 staff behind the bar is a joke. The staff might be busy but why can't they speak to customer and explain there situation! My wife and I have shares in brewdog for a few years now but I can't see the benefit if we can't get a good service or use apps. If I could get my shares back tomorrow I would !

Great place. Service is great, food is delicious and beer is awesome! Well worth pilgrimage to "Ellon the capital of Great Beer"! There is plenty to learn for brew dog pub we have in Huddersfield!

Nice place. Good food. Great pints. We bit overpriced drinks. The app didn't work for us but not a huge deal.

It is a really awesome place to have a meal with a great tasting beer. It also offers a nice tour of the brewery. A good place for bigger groups of people and not to mention you can bring your own dog with you, how cool is that?!

Arrived for our 1400 reservation on father day for lunch. We booked a table for 3 and requested a high chair for our son. We were placed at a really small round table by then entrance, really only suitable for drinks. Waited about 10 mins and then someone took a drink order. It arrived about 10 mins later and then no one else came to take our food order. We had finished our drinks and there was actually no one in sight of the area we were in. Tried mobile order but it didn't work. So just paid for the drinks via the app and left. I wasn't offered the Complimentary beer by the waiter either considering the fathers day deal was on and I was clearly with my family. Awful service. Won't be back again.

Super Ambiente, leckeres Bier und das Essen ist auch super. Nach unserer Tour konnten wir hier noch gut essen. Würden wir jederzeit wieder so machen.
