Une cuisine innovante et originale, une très bonne ambiance. Il est préférable de réserver une table. Surtout essayer le haggis revisité, je ne me souvient pas du nom du plat mais sous forme de croquettes avec une émulsion de pomme de terre ! Incroyablement bon... Les autres plats aussi sont excellents.

We usually have the fish at Victorias, unless the roast beef special is on ... and that really is delicious. Most recent visit we opted for the burgers, one of them with pulled pork and the other with cheese. All very filling and finished off with fresh home baking for dessert. There's a warm family feel in this restaurant, which is popular with visitors and locals. If you haven't time to wait, they'll do a takeaway, and there are outside tables as well as the distanced ones inside.

Lovely clean wee cafe with all COVID rules being followed . Had a lovely plate of hearty home made soup with warm bread and a great latte and chose a “ rocky road” From a good selection of cakes and scones to go with it . This was a big disappointment ( basically crushed biscuits and cooking chocolate on bottom with a few mini marshmallows and two squares of chocolate on stuck on top then drizzled with whites chocolate. ) wished I’d opted for another cake or scone. Pleasant service and reasonable prices for the tourist area it’s in. Also has an outside seated area which dogs allowed in.

We visited Victoria’s today for an outdoor lunch and it was absolutely superb. I had scampi, chips and salad and my partner had a cheeseburger with chips and coleslaw. Everything was cooked to perfection and these were proper chips, like chips used to taste! Lovely friendly service, beautiful location and best of all, food that tastes how you hope it will but rarely does. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice food and friendly staff. I had the soup of day (vegetable broth) which came with break and butter, and the hand battered haggis. Both were spot on. To round up I had a hot chocolate. Good service and nice friendly atmosphere in the cafe.

Popped in for lunch today after a walk around Ballater. Found this wee gem of a place. The food was good, service quick and polite and prices excellent. Lovely wee place, quiet even though it was very busy. We’ll definitely be back! Too full to try the baking but it looked fab too. Try the battered haggis starter - it was fantastic!

Needed a light lunch and chose Victoria’s. Cute little shop in downtown Ballater offering a hot lunch or coffee and a cake. We tried the Apple Cinnamon Scone with a Cappuccino. The coffee was great and the Scone was amazing, fresh and filled with apple and cinnamon. Service is friendly and attentive. Great light lunch.

We had the best breakfast in here for a long time. The breakfast was freshly good as we waited and the young girl serving us was very friendly and nothing was to much bother. Your breakfast also includes toast, tea or coffee and is very reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend it for breakfast.

So pleased this place was open during the quiet season. I've never passed without stopping off some some food. The staff are lovely and on my visit before this one, I was on the motorbike and I was experiencing the British summer.....sheltering from the torrential rain the time passed by quickly thanks to a friendly fella manning the gift shop and some nice food. This time I just made it in time for a full breakfast - very welcome after being blinded by low level morning sun all the way from Inverness then dodging the ice in minus 6 degrees C once I hit the ski roads. Bloody marvellous! proper sausage, the black pudding was really tasty and everything was hot. I managed to bag an extra fried egg after many apologies from the lady serving me that the chef had managed to burst my yolk twice so they put both on as an a sorry. I ordered a black coffee which was one of those espresso machine jobbies I really hate for their harshness but this was pretty god. I didn't realise they did cafetieres until the very well spoken gent on a nearby table asked for one! Next time then. Love this place, makes the dreadful quality of the roads seem worth it...in such a remote area it's a gem and the prices are good, too!
