Braise o Mar in Aberdeenshire

Waitress greeted us as if we'd trailed in dog dirt on our shoes. 'Sit anywhere' face of thunder demanded with a dismissive flick of her wrist. Then off she thumped through the swing doors to the kitchen. 'That's anither two in' she barked. That was when we decided to depart. Avoid this place, the welcome is atrocious.

Went to the Braise this week for our meet, I had a roll filled with bacon, sausage & black pudding. Very tasty & efficient service. Accompanied by a nice cup of tea. Lovely relaxed location with a view over the driving range & the hill around Banchory.

We had a great time at the weekend. 9 golfers looked after all day with lovely delicious food. Service was very good and nothing was to much trouble.

1st visit and delicious breakfast in lovely setting also great service by 2 really lovely young waitresses. Hope to return soon. Very good price too

Visited for lunch this week for 2 days on a business trip. The first day I had pan-fried liver with crushed potatoes & a wonderful sauce. Very well cooked & I enjoyed it so much, that I had it for the 2nd day's lunch too. if I lived in Banchory, I'd go there every day!

Returned here as last time when it was the Tee room (beside a golf centre) it was fab. Quite disappointed. Higher prices and lower quality. My wife’s bacon egg and chip was greasy and my poached eggs hollandaise was poor. The black pudding was good guality but under hooked and soggy Only hi note was the Mocha was superb

We were there for a staff golf competition followed by a meal. The service was great and the food was excellent, the Mac & Cheese was the best I've ever had. Worth the visit!

We had been staying with family in the Inchmarlo Villas and had eaten in this restaurant before. Three of us were vegetarian so we tried the "nae meat" breakfast which was excellent. Freshly cooked and delicious. The meat eaters thoroughly enjoyed the meat breakfast. Service was excellent, very friendly waitress and we were able to get a large enough table to accommodate the six of us. The views from the restaurant are stunning looking over the golf course. The breakfast was reasonably priced and on our next visit to Inchmarlo we will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Fantastic wee gem all day breakfasts and fantastic other choices on menu. Very pleasant staff and very attentive. Delicious food and reasonably priced. Will Definitely return. Beautiful settings looking onto the golf course. It’s a must try.

Fabulous meal and great ambience! Beat meal in all of our travels. Beautiful view of the golf course and surrounding countryside! Must give it a go!!

We had a 65th Birthday Meal and it was an excellent night! The food was fantastic, everyone at the meal absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We couldn't have asked for anything to be better

Went for a friends surprise party approx 70 guests. 13 of us had a lovely meal before all the guests arrived and it was great that we were able to decorate our table before. The Food was delicious, my Thai salad was amazing, great flavours. Keith was great allowing us to play our own music and making it all so personal. The venue was a perfect size for the amount of guests. Highly recommend for food and for parties. Thanks

I was lucky enough to be taken hear for my mother's day meal. My daughter and I were shown excellent service, very polite staff who catered to all of our needs. I had the 3 course meal deal, which may I add was excellent value for money. My taste buds were certainly satisfied. Look forward to returning again in the near future. I noticed that they had tables out in the terrace over looking the range with a beautiful view of scolty Hill, so I'm hoping on my next visit the sun is shining so I can enjoy my food outdoors.

We contacted the restaurant at Inchmarlo to book brunch for a group of 18 adults and seven chicldren. From the first contact they were extremely helpful and sent us menus and discussed options. The food was fantastic - one of the best brunch menus I have seen. Service was also very good and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant has a lovely outlook over the gol course and the icing on the cake was the children had fun on the golf range. We will definitely be back.

Welcoming staff with a lovely view over the driving range! Food was enjoyed by all, my burger with all the toppings was delicious followed by a bowl of sticky toffee pudding and ice cream 👌🏻 Definitely recommend a visit

First time at the Braise O Mar Great restaurant and it was great! In such in a beautiful setting. The food is great. We had sticky pork belly salad from the specials menu. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Afternoon tea. Bright, airy with fine views and friendly service. The cheese scones the best I have had in a long while and carrot cake moist and flavour some.

We came across this newly established restaurant by chance and were so thrilled with our delicious dinner. Lovely wine offerings, hearty mains and a scone & butter dessert to die for. The service was also impeccable. We will be returning!

Had a lovely lunch, menu selection is excellent and the prices are great value. Everyone is catered for, kids menu, breakfast, brunch, lunch, soup & sandwich, pensioners halfs. Everything we had wad lovely and the chips are really excellent!!! Cakes/traybakes are nice.

So much amazing food for such great prices! Had a 3 course meal and for all the food that you got I felt like I definatley got my money's worth! Brilliant food, excellent service and a very relaxing and calm atmosphere! Would highly recommend a visit!

We have eaten here twice since opening day, have had an amazing brunch and superb evening meal, couldn’t fault a thing. Friendly staff, great food, reasonably priced what more can you ask for. Would definitely recommend 😊
