Food always seems either warm or cold we pay for food so expect it to be hot not something that's been sitting in a warmer for hour on end!

The Creel never fails to deliver excellent food served in a great atmosphere. The food and service is beyond reproach. Last night a large party of rowers appeared expecting to be served drinks. The staff were excellent and ensured the regulars were looked after.

First time eating here. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Food not bad. Not overly flavoursome but does the job. Gravy quite bland as was the soup. Okay for a one off meal but not tasty enough to make a repeat customer. 😐

The restaurant and takeaway are both excellent. I am gluten free and the gluten free options on the restaurant menu are the best in the area. There are lots of options and they are happy to talk through the menu to make adaptations. We are also frequent visitors to the takeaway, again because of the gluten free options. I’m allergic to fish too but the gluten free chicken fillets are incredible! The staff are super friendly and the kids menu is great as well with lots of options for the smaller diners!

Absolute terrible service, slow and incompetent would be putting it mildly. Waited 40 minutes for our order and when it came it was wrong. My partner had to eat hers alone whilst I waited another 15 minutes for mine to arrive. Also ordered desert which came after I complained about 45 minutes later. Getting attitude from the staff when I complained. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent lunch, 3 of us seated when really busy. Staff couldn’t have been better and food delicious. We had fish in a bun , caesar salad and open prawn sandwich. Best humoured staff, including chefs, we’ve seen in spite of being rushed off their feet!

We went to Quayside for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and we really enjoy the atmosphere there. It is a simple place, but at the same time cozy and with a beautiful view to Gourdon harbour. Although the service was a bit slow between the children’s meal and the adults meal, we were delighted with the food: a simple meal very well cooked – we had fish and chips, the tartar sauce was very tasty. For desert we had brownie with ice cream and it was excellent. Definitely will be back.

We as a family of 8 went there for afternoon tea and boy it didn’t disappoint the service was excellent and the restaurant was busy. The tea itself was truly delicious from the sandwiches, savoury and cakes all very fresh quality bread for the sandwiches and homemade savouries and cakes and value for money. Would highly recommend

If visiting the cafe at the front of the building do not order a mocha. It was awful and I had to change it for another drink. I had forgotten that I’d had one there ages ago that was awful too and had to go back. It had virtually no froth on top and was just a cup of dark brown liquid. Not the usual tempting mocha at all. I suspect it was made by hand without the use of a mocha machine perhaps? I usually use the restaurant /cafe in another part of the store and mochas are normal there.

We wanted to like Raemoir. It seemed so nice to shop at the garden centre after a bite to eat. It is the most expensive in the area but we wouldn't mind if we enjoyed our stop+shop. But the staff are rude. We tried three times. Twice, some boy who was clearly just filling-in demonstrated his contempt. On the third such occasion, someone with more experience in being rude to customers joined-in. So we are not customers any more. Drumoak, just a few miles away is more neutral. Although the food is not quite as good, the overall experience leaves you feeling much better.
