If visiting the cafe at the front of the building do not order a mocha. It was awful and I had to change it for another drink. I had forgotten that I’d had one there ages ago that was awful too and had to go back. It had virtually no froth on top and was just a cup of dark brown liquid. Not the usual tempting mocha at all. I suspect it was made by hand without the use of a mocha machine perhaps? I usually use the restaurant /cafe in another part of the store and mochas are normal there.

Went in to browse at jelly cats and their vegan food then went around the rest of the shop only to find a candle/soap/scented oil section and as I usually do I smelled the testers with my twin sister. We usually tell each other to smell really bad ones and it’s fun but a lady working there thought we were stealing and proceeded to follow us around the shop for half an hour although we said many times we didn’t want their old people smelly oils and then walked around with our pockets turned inside out. Not to mention we have previously been in a car collision in the car park of this garden centre and were offered no help from the staff there. Anyways we got polenta and paid for it the only things in my pockets were my inhaler epipen and phone not any stolen goods that stink like incontinence.

My family and I were fishing on the Dee and I contacted Raemoir to ask if they could provide a take away picnic lunch and some bakes for afternoon tea for our party which they said yes, they could do. It was top notch! Absolutely delicious quiche, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, salad and a myriad of other goodies. I have lunched several times at Raemoir and am never disappointed at the quality of the cuisine and great value and this was the same. Well done to their management, chefs and catering staff, bravo!

Very nice glass sided restaurant within the garden centre. You have to wait at the door until staff fetch you. This area is subject to rain and you can get wet in the queue.Very pleasant cheerful staff and a lot of them. We wanted coffee and a light lunch,it was 11.30am,so ordered the prawn cocktail. One of theses had to be GF and was produced. Also Earl Grey tea and rhubarb lemonade. It was really nice and tasty. The restaurant filled up very fast so would suggest booking a table. It is waitress service including the bill.

Breakfast roll of 2 local sausages with a fried egg. My wife had the bacon equivalent. We were in a bit of a rush as we were staying on a nearby caravan site with a fixed departure time. (Bank Holiday Monday) No problem. Shown to a good table promptly. Order taken efficiently. Surprisingly the rolls arrived before the Americano’s. And the egg looked freshly fried, it was quite runny. Which made eating it a bit tricky, but I enjoyed it. We expect to return to Deeside in the future, and Raemoir would be one of our default eating places.

Very disappointing. Didn't wait long for a table especially it was Easter Sunday. There were plenty of staff so promptly took our order . The baked potato I had was the worst I've ever had, was cheese and coleslaw, hard to find the cheese on it! I like to eat the potato skin but this was impossible as it was like leather. We ordered cappuccino and waited around 10 /15 mins before I had to remind the server and she promptly seen to it herself. Over priced and no pensioner or child menu. I preferred the café before they done away with it, it was always busy and had a better atmosphere. worst thing they done was to do away with it. Wont be eating there again .

If you want to queue outside when we have below zero temperatures this is the place for you. No information about how long it may be before a table would be free. So off we went to the cafe area where there was a short wait for a table as advised by a very polite and pleasant member of staff. However the quality of food was in our opinion very poor. Very disappointed customer who in the past would have always recommended Raemoir for lunch.

Visited the restaurant at Raemoir garden centre with friends for a light lunch however, it was difficult to find anything plain on the menu. The "Lite Bites" menu seemed to contain so many ingredients so if you didn't like one you were stuck. Sandwiches and baked potatoes all seemed to contain mayonnaise, coleslaw, onion or pickle etc, and if you cannot have cheese you are limited. Even the chicken salad contained bacon, caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese topped with croutons. "All salads are served with red onion or avocado with a dressing on the side." Difficult if you don't like any of these ingredients. If you want a heavier lunch such as fish and chips then this is the place to go. My friends had a full meal which they enjoyed and judging by the queue to get in, this is a popular place. The servers were polite and pleasant.

Had 2 cappuccino's and both were more milk than coffee. Couldn't actually taste the coffee and it was almost boiling making it very difficult to drink. Victoria sponge and rock cake were OK, although I would have preferred fresh cream to buttercream . Was very expensive for what we got.

We went for afternoon tea what delightfull time we had. We had a table outside. The wather was sunny. We had time to choose which fillings we wished in our sandwiches. Which was fresh made. As a group of 3 we shared our sandwiches their was Sausage roll as well . We had a scone with cream & raspberry jam. We also had the choice of caramel slices, chocolate kraknel, victoria sponge, baby meringue & strawberry tarts. 3 of each so we didnt have to fight over the choices. Plenty of coffee to wash it all down as well. We could not fault it at all. This has got to be one of our better choice of places to have afternoon tea. Im sure we will be back.

This was our third visit here but the first to the restaurant. The restaurant was busy (always a good sign👍) but we quickly got a table. All four in our party were rather taken aback when a lovely member of staff came over asking if we were unhappy with our table. Apparently a lady at the next table had told her we were unhappy with our table. We reassured her that was NOT the case. However we were impressed that the staff member took the trouble to check what was actually false information. After a bit of banter we enjoyed a tasty, well prepared snack lunch served by efficient, friendly, caring staff. A wander round the shop was enjoyed. Staff again were very helpful as we made several small purchases. An excellent retail and eating experience enhanced by lovely staff. 👍👍👍👍❤️

This garden centre used to have a cafe which was a nice place to have a light lunch rather than taking up a table in the restaurant just to have soup and a sandwich. Now they’ve take up three quarters of the cafe space with shelves of overpriced fancy goods, leaving 5 or 6 tables for lunch customers. We went there to have lunch and buy some items for the garden but all the tables were full and there was a sizeable queue waiting to pick up food from the serving area. We left to have lunch and buy the garden items at the excellent Mains of Drum and won’t be going back to Raemoir again.

It was good food and service BUT the barista was on her phone taken photos in front of us customers in plain sight as well as other staff members getting involved. This isn't the first time I've seen this, so must happen all the time. Was waiting on my coffee and relised it was running late because the barista was taken photos of it. Let's the business and atmosphere down.

Would not recommend this establishment to anyone. We encountered two terribly rude servers. Firstly after waiting in the queue for around 15 mins we were at the front of the queue and the server completely ignored our group (4 adults and a baby- so very difficult not to see) and went to the group behind. Once we went into the restaurant, said server dropped the door in my husbands face. No table was ready for us, whilst 2 extremely rude servers determined whether they could accommodate us! What on earth. These 2 particular waitresses were incredibly rude. We then swiftly left, absolutely shocking service. However we went to Scott skinners down the road and had a fantastic meal and were treated like royalty compared to this place. My advice go to Scott skinners rather than this place.

Raemoir has always been my 'go to' place for coffee, lunch and gifts. Today however while browsing, I noticed a ( frankly malodorous ) dog running loose, sniffing and slobbering over the merchandise on the low level shelves. When it's owner appeared I suggested politely that the dog should be on a lead. The man said in a rude and aggressive tone " This is MY place ! " Well, as a dog owner myself, I would never allow my dog to run amok in a shop. As a customer, I don't wish to buy soiled goods or expect be spoken to rudely by the owner of a business, especially a business which has regularly had my custom since it opened. I will not be returning ...

My husband treated me to lunch at Raemoir Garden Centre on Valentine’s Day - not the most romantic lunch but we’ve been married for 28 years so for him to whisk me off for the day was fabulous. Lunch was delicious! There was lots of choice, and the service was friendly and efficient. We visit Raemoir several times a year and it never disappoints. We bought some fabulous bulbs for the garden, a gift for one of my friends too so 10/10 to Raemoir and my lovely husband for his impromptu treat!

This evening my friends and I were out to enjoy ourselves having a lovely meal. But that did not go to plan, as we had to wait 2 and a half hours for our food! (one of my friends order a steak which was flavourless and the other order a starter which was completely disregarded when asked about) Although waiter was very accommodating and trying his best to make our meals come quicker, the whole place is severely understaffed causing backups throughout the whole restaurant. As our food was taking a long time we were told we could leave and not wanting to deal with us in that regard. Overall I am very disappointed in the service I received this evening, either this place has to cut down it customer intake or find a way to accommodate this volume of people.

Good things : This cafe is in a great location and offers plenty of seating outside which is ideal for those with dogs. Not so good things : The coffee was ok although pricey for the size of cup. Cakes were nice enough, but had too much buttercream icing. Bad things : The layout of the tables inside is a bit congested. The volume and choice of music appears to be for the benefit of the staff because we, and those around us at other tables, to raise our voices to have a conversation.
