The vegetables were all dry and had clearly been out for use for a long time.
The gravy had a thick skin on it.
Also the female toilets were out of use.
The kitchen staff were very noisy and making loud booing noises which was exceptionally off putting considering we were there as a large family and we had family visiting from Northen Ireland. We couldn’t have a proper conversation due to the amount of noise coming from the kitchen area.
The app also, we couldn’t not pick anything from the kids menu, so we ended up having to go to the bar to order.
The food has gone downhill in recent years while the prices have only gone up. We didn't think much of our meal, the staff were lazy and inattentive. All young kids who looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. We overheard 2 young members of staff badmouthing a manager. Not professional withing earshot of customers.
I have been to 2 things at the Music Hall recently, and both were slightly marred by people coming and going throughout the performance - partly because the entrance door remained wide open throughout.
A traditional bar with a a huge selection of whisky (including some very rare ones). Beers to suit every taste from mainstream to craft. Beautiful ceiling and great staff. No music and a TV which is not a focal point. These places are dying out, but please don't change.
Had been here a few times in the past but not for a good few years, we had always enjoyed the food in the past but standards have slipped badly. I had the Parfait di pollo to start and it was the worst pate I have ever had, could not even finish it as it was so ba, I then had the Hawaiian pizza which which had an unusual taste and was nothing special, my wife said her meal was okay but bland. The floor and our table were covered in crumbs and we were there at evening opening time so that must have been left since lunchtime, disgusting! The service was nothing very special either and was if they couldn't be bothered. Also quite expensive making it a worse experience so we won't be back as there are plenty of other proper delicious Italian restaurants to go to.
Our family of four went on a busy Friday night.
The menu choice was excellent and offered good value for money
Our meals arrived quickly and were all really good.
Special mention to Murray, who served us. He was professional and friendly throughout our visit.
When we arrived our waiter introduced himself as Mika and was very attentive throughout our meal. We were with a friend whose birthday it was but she has some severe food allergies- Chef Andy and Mika could not have been more accommodating! Made sure everything was acceptable for her to eat. Even brought her a birthday cake made of apple with a candle! All our food looked and tasted delicious- highly recommended.
I have been to this Wagamama’s heaps of times now, and I always receive great food, excellent customer service, as well as speedy food wait times. Would definitely recommend Wagamama Aberdeen to a friend.
