We had Bessie as our server and she was really good and was really attentive to our needs. The food was good and we really didn’t have long to wait to be served.will be back again

We nipped in for lunch between shopping. We had the set lunch menu, delicious. Huge portions of piping hot clearly freshly cooked food. We had crispy mushrooms which were very crispy served with a garlic mayo. My other half had the haddock, I had the scampi, we shared both. I had 15 lovely scampi, the haddock fillet was large and juicy. We shared the syrup sponge and custard for dessert. We had two Pepsi making the bill a very reasonable £38. Monia served us today. She was very smiley and polite. We were made to feel welcome and seemed like nothing would be too much trouble. Thank you!

A lovely place to go for a meal. Great atmosphere and tasty food. Jane has been lovely to us the last few Thursday evenings we have been in. Very attentitive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon ☺️

Was greated and seated promptly. Was asked if we had a preference of seating area. Jane was professional ,friendly and a pleasure to have as our server. Checked in at our table and was happy to assist throughout our meal. Highly recommend going for meal here portion sizes are large l,we was provided with a take away box for food we could not finish. We had a lovely meal tonight, steak cooked to perfection and the beef dripping gravy is delicious! Jane was amazing, always super friendly and efficient.

Came for lunch and found all the team including the chefs very friendly and professional. When our food came it was very good! Obviously cooked to order so was very hot, portions are massive too! Haven’t been for a while be will be back soon!

Went for lunch. It was my mother-in-law's first ever visit and she loved it. Great menu, great food. Really clean and well kept. And it's dog friendly??? We love it. Jane and Linda were amazing and really refined the guest experience. We are going every week without fail. These two diamonds deserve lots of recognition

All the staff here are lovely and there is never a problem with the food. However tonight when I came in freezing cold, Lovely Linda came over with a mug of hot water to warm my hands on! Something so simple but so effective and the extra mile!! 5star service always!

The Ghillies lair doesn’t look much from the outside but it definitely shines when it comes to the service and the food! The new menu is truly outstanding - the tasty tots that the lady persuaded me to try were truly mouthwatering especially with the cheesy bacon topping! And they deffo weren’t something I’d have picked for myself! The new banoffee waffle is also a brilliant new edition! The team here are always so so welcoming and friendly they will ways be my number one pick when I’m in town !

The service is always friendly and prompt, the whole team are lovely and welcoming. The food is always piping hot and delicious and the puddings are to die for!

Good place to go for a meal,good sized parking area outside. Service very quick and efficient from serving staff and kitchen staff. Staff not intrusive whilst eating but do check everything is ok. Food tasty and good sized portions, salad bar has great selection of items.Prices reasonable. With thanks to Jane for looking after us so well tonight.

Excellent visit to Harvester for a family birthday! We were a table of 13 and nothing was too much bother for Monie and her colleague. They were out the door and had been on shift all day due to staff absence. They didn’t stop, what a great team 👌 The food was also fantastic - thank you Michal!

We are locals but hadn’t been for years following a disastrous Christmas day. We were greeted enthusiastically by a lovely lady who gave us excellent service and helped me with dietary requirements. We all had rotisserie chicken with different sauces which was absolutely lovely. I had hit honey sauce which went perfectly with the chicken and the delicious crispy skin. It was served with corn on the cobb and a choice of mash, fries or rice, as well as the free salad and bread rolls. For dessert I had vegan ice cream and sauce. All allergies and intolerances are handled by the chef and a little flag comes with to identify the plate. Two courses for £18.99 it was excellent value for money. We will be back soon. Thanks

Everything about this Harvester is great. Drinks and food all served in a timely manner. Jane, our waitress is always extremely friendly when we are there. The only downside are the toilets. They definitely need an update.

The food and staff were good, however place smelt damp and fusty, even effecting the soft furnishings, floor was slippy, Windows were steamed up, general damp feeling throughout the restaurant, perhaps needs closing for a deep clean and mild makeover.

My boyfriend absolutely adores Harvesters and we have been to this one a couple of times. We went a couple weeks ago at the weekend on a Saturday night and was welcomed in and seated in no time.We had a very pleasant experience withy boyfriend ordering the half rack of ribs and myself ordering a Cowboy burger.Both came in good time and we enjoyed our meal in the sunshine.It was very busy but our needs were attended to and the portions are always HUGE, which is especially important for my boyfriend who has a bottomless stomach!We would go again and he has finally shown me why he loves a Harvesters.

I've read a review on here about the corn. it's clearly shows a picture of the cheesy corn on the cob if your allergic to cheese read the menu and look at the picture if you haven't read or looked at it properly then it's your own fault.
