food was cold and I only live 5mins from restaurant and half of one was at bottom of the bag

Carvery very poor. Peas hard, cauliflower hard, roast potatoes like mush disappointed as been few times and this time wasn’t the best!

Disappointed when we went for a meal around 8pm,says the kitchen is closed.We booked the table prior to.They should have told us earlier so that we wouldn’t be going there.

Had mini henshine in lounge as had to accomodate a wheelchair. Michelle made the day great with easy access and decorated tables for bride and friends great afternoon

I was there yesterday and the food was very good and tasty, also the staff was very helpful and supportive, my waitress was Magda and she was very polite and her positive vibe made my stay in Buckie Farm very enjoyable. Thank you. Will definitely visit again.

Hemos comido aquí numerosas veces en los últimos dos años y nunca tuvimos un problema, sin embargo, vinimos por algunas bebidas y comida la semana pasada con alguna familia que estaba de visita por primera vez. La zona exterior estaba cubierta de camada, el mirador se ha visto mejor, había vasos y sobras de comida que quedaban fuera que todavía estaba allí cuando nos fuimos una hora más tarde El servicio en el bar estaba bien, encontramos un asiento... no fue difícil ya que solo otra pareja estaba en el restaurante... ...escuchamos el timbre del servicio sonar numerosas veces... . finalmente la otra huésped se levantó y recogió su propia comida de la escotilla, ella estaba muy infeliz ya que su comida estaba fría La zona del restaurante estaba sucia, mesa pegajosa, zanahorias, guisantes, etc en todo el piso y no era solo en nuestra mesa El personal en tu placa caliente parecía miserable, no había ambiente en absoluto! Elegimos nuestra comida, había poco o ningún tiempo de espera, así que estaba contento con eso, sin embargo, cuando la comida llegó... Los tamaños de las porciones eran ridículos, no tenía más de 5 papas fritas al lado de una hamburguesa mediocre descuidada, el bollo inferior estaba empapado y solo se veía horrible Mi compañero fue al baño y dijo que era simplemente asqueroso, voy a dejar a su imaginación lo que se había manchado sobre un asiento del baño y las paredes... Basta decir que lamentablemente ha bajado masivamente colina abajo, no volveremos Me pregunto si la apertura de Parkway Inn tiene algo que ver con la caída de Buckie Farm. Muy decepcionante y muy vergonzoso haber tomado familia diciendo lo mucho que valía, una experiencia tan pobre

Waiting staff really nice. Chef was extremely rude when I said I wanted a slice of meat. He was giving me slivers. I was there on Mothers Day for the first time in years and it was good. Won’t be coming back after today. I took the family there asa treat. Spent well over £100 but because of the rude chef won’t recommend it and not going back. Also the staff were having a verbal row with each other in the back kitchen and everyone could hear it. Dreadful!

Very disappointing. We had a table booked for 6pm. The service was very slow and staff were rude. I cannot even comment on the food as I didn't receive any. We were a party of 8 out to celebrate a special birthday and the service we received was terrible. The starters some of my family ordered were dumped at the end of the table and the waitress just walked away. When we all went up to get our carvery all that was on offer was some dried up pork and turkey with only a couple of roast potatoes and carrots. When we asked for some fresher food we were told that's all there was. We said we didn't want it and was told by a member of the kitchen staff "well that's up to you". Then when we tried to order food off the menu we were told the kitchen was closed, it was only just after 7pm.The only saving grace was they issued us a full refund. We most definitely will not be going back...

Was our first time going here and definetly wont be back got a baconcheeseburger and had to use about 4 napkins there was so much grease also ordered a carvery and sat waiting for ages i had to go to the bar to see where to go for carvery as no one told us where the carvery was i ended up just asking for a refund as customer service was bad and so was food luckily i got refunded for carvery and burger but i would 100% avoid going here

Muy decepcionante. Teníamos una mesa reservada para las 6 pm. El servicio era muy lento y el personal era grosero. Ni siquiera puedo comentar sobre la comida ya que no recibí ninguna. Éramos una fiesta de 8 para celebrar un cumpleaños especial y el servicio que recibimos fue terrible. Los entrantes que algunos de mi familia pidieron fueron tirados al final de la mesa y la camarera simplemente se fue. Cuando todos subimos a buscar nuestro carvery todo lo que se ofrecía era un poco de cerdo seco y pavo con solo un par de patatas asadas y zanahorias. Cuando pedimos algo de comida fresca nos dijeron que eso era todo lo que había. Dijimos que no lo queríamos y nos dijo un miembro del personal de la cocina "bueno, eso depende de ti". Luego, cuando tratamos de pedir comida del menú nos dijeron que la cocina estaba cerrada, era solo justo después de las 7 pm. La única gracia salvadora fue que nos emitieron un reembolso completo. Definitivamente no volveremos...

Missing a piece of tattie scone and a piece of fried bread

Mesa reservada para el cumpleaños de las hijas incluso dejó la torta. La señora nos dijo qué mesa conseguiríamos ya que uno de nuestro partido tiene problemas de movilidad. La mesa no estaba reservada cuando llegamos y tuvimos que apretar en la mesa más pequeña. Pedido 2 comidas del menú y 4 carverys. Esperó 45 minutos para 2 comidas y luego fue a buscar carvery. Carne acabada, solo quedan guisantes, zanahorias, maíz dulce y relleno seco. Le dije más verduras y papas serían 7 minutos más o menos a pesar de que la carne estaba en el plato. La carne estaba fría y había que recalentarla en microondas. ¡No terminé comiendo las 4 carverys ya que la comida estaba tan seca! Chef y gerente de turno dijeron que nada de lo que podían hacer era poco personal y ocupado. ¡Básicamente duro! El gerente vio a su hija llorando y no pudo importarle. Muchas otras quejas al gerente de otros clientes y tienen la misma actitud. Una familia vino y trató de animar a mi hija y dijo que no deberíamos tener que pagar por nuestras comidas y bebidas. El gerente debería haber dejado de recibir clientes si la comida y el servicio no era lo que se anunciaba. No es culpa de los clientes que tenían poco personal y no tenían suficiente comida preparada.

Food never disappoints, it is always lovely food! Unfortunately poor lighting for some tables However the toilets are always disgusting, especially the females! Hand driers not working and poo on the floor in the toilets!

The vegetables were all dry and had clearly been out for use for a long time. The gravy had a thick skin on it. Also the female toilets were out of use. The kitchen staff were very noisy and making loud booing noises which was exceptionally off putting considering we were there as a large family and we had family visiting from Northen Ireland. We couldn’t have a proper conversation due to the amount of noise coming from the kitchen area. The app also, we couldn’t not pick anything from the kids menu, so we ended up having to go to the bar to order.

Plenty of tables can sit anywhere great food

This was the 8 chips and coleslaw I got with my burger tonight! when we asked for a bit more chips was told we would have to buy more extra.customer service was terrible.the carvery looked dried up so don’t waste your money going.

Sad to do this review but out of the last 4 orders they've given me the wrong burger 3 times, either with the wrong stuff on it or the completely wrong item. I love this place as their beyond burgers are amazing but messing up this bad is unacceptable.

Me and my family of 4 came here for my daughter’s 5 birthday! We spent about 30 to 40 pounds including desserts. The food was quite tasty I recommend the fish! It tasted very fresh and well done. My husband had a burger and my two kids had tomato soup and had a brownie and ice cream of dessert. I waited about 10-20 minutes for my food which wasn’t as bad beacuse the times I have been before were longer,it just depends on the time of day and the business. The atmosphere was very calming but it was mostly the same as most restaurants like that. I think this is a nice place to go for family meals and i definitely recommend! 👍🏻

Food was cold, roast beef was just full of fat, carrots & peas were hard. Absolute rip off.

Honestly their beyond burger is one of the best I've had. Always cooked perfectly and tastes amazing. Would be nice if we could swap out the tots for chips but otherwise perfect.

Absolutely does what it says on the tin. The venue itself is a bit tired but you get a good buffet breakfast for a really low price.

Mi amigo y yo vinimos a almorzar. Los martes hacen 50% de descuento en pizzas. Las pizzas aquí son deliciosas. Los precios son muy buenos y el personal siempre es amable.

Local pub, with very friendly staff, happy to help and always provide good service. Michelle always greets us well snd remembers our drinks. Usually go 2-3 times a month. Would love to see the toilets painted/ decorated, and lounge area given a wee lift,suggest tiny flower pots on tables, tealight candles. Lounge area could also,I think accommodate a few more tables.

Muy gratamente sorprendido con el Sunday Carvery. Es la primera vez que visito Buckie Farm Stonehouse Restaurant, pero definitivamente no será la última. La comida era muy buena. Ambos tuvimos el tradicional carvery, que a £ 12. 49 cada uno es excelente valor. Todavía tenía un poco de espacio para el pudín, así que tenía helado de caramelo y la otra mitad tenía pudín de caramelo pegajoso. Grandes porciones, así que no podía manejar el mío, pero se burló de todo (y dijo que estaba delicioso). El personal era muy agradable y el restaurante era cálido. Comí en un restaurante de la ciudad a principios de semana y hacía frío, así que en realidad preferí mi almuerzo de hoy. Habría otorgado 5 estrellas, pero no estoy interesado en el pedido / pago en la aplicación. No nos detendrá a regresar, ya que todos los positivos superan con creces este pequeño pezón. Con todo, un encantador almuerzo de domingo. La próxima vez, caminaremos para poder disfrutar de un vino y preparar esos pudines.

Had a couple of drinks in the lounge, staff were great, Michelle is always polite and helpful.......she always remembers what we drink so feels very personal. Toilets could be doing with a refurbishment and could probably do more with the lounge area.

The carvery is great value and the selection of food is very good. Been there twice recently and very happy with everything. Michelle was very helpful and friendly.

Comida caliente sabrosa con un plato caliente! Personal amable. Buena relación calidad-precio. No hay necesidad de poner el registro del coche en una máquina en el restaurante.

Great lunch and great quality and delicious. It’s slightly more expensive than going to the restaurant but considering what my husband and would spend on drinks and getting a taxi home I would definitely recommend it and buy this again. 😋

Food wasn't very good, very basic and the cheese burger was greasy

Almuerzo de Navidad 2024 Tiempo atroz, familia de 4 adultos y dos niños. Llegamos a la 1 pm, no nos ofrecieron bebidas hasta las 13. 30 y salieron las comidas de los niños. Nos sentamos durante casi una hora antes de recibir nuestro entrante y la siguiente mesa de 10 / 12 para nosotros esperó más que nosotros. Luego fuimos por nuestra carvery, era encantador, pero esto era de unos 14. Queríamos pedir otra copa, nadie tomó nuestro siguiente pedido, así que tuvimos nuestra comida, nos sentamos hasta las 3 de la tarde todavía esperando nuestro desierto (que era todo de prepago) y lo mejor del día fue que estamos esperando desiertos, uno de los empleados nos ofreció entrantes de nuevo. No podías compensar el desastre que era. Nos fuimos, sin desierto aunque todo pagado. Negarse a volver. Después de haber hablado con amigos dijeron lo mismo, terrible comida de día de Navidad por £ 53. 99 cada uno sin galletas saladas o sin decoración navideña en la mesa tampoco.

After walking completely around the place trying to find a table that didn't have dirty dishes on as nobody seemed to clear the tables, found a table and no member of staff had even noticed us. Food was underwhelming and there was no atmosphere at all.

Michelle was excellent! So friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely also.

Just finished a lovely breakfast, good value for money. Nice atmosphere here, very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Michelle makes everyone very welcome on arrival and checks that all is well.

The breakfast was very good for the value, lots of choices, tea and coffee hot, will definitely be back.

Chicken and fries were dried out as though they were reheated, burger was not good quality tasted worse than a McDonalds burger. Carvery was good.

Honestly, I’ve eaten in several times and every time I was more than satisfied, my rating of zero is based on the Christmas carvery takeaway for four persons, costing £109, I was told there would be three slice of meat with each portion, and there wasn’t, lucky if it was one and a half to two slices per person, we didn’t receive any roasted parsnips as advertised and the portions of potatoes, not enough roast potatoes to go round and the mash, one portion has what I would describe as a table spoon worth, and the other three about two table spoon worth, as for the Veg that was provided, far too many carrots and peas. In fact it seemed this was done to bulk out the portion, suffice to say won’t ever be doing that again.

Acaba de llegar a almorzar e inmediatamente se le hace sentir no bienvenido con cero servicio al cliente y carvery abre a las 11 : 30 pero 11 : 40 todavía organizándolo, entonces uno de los chefs estaba despotricando, luego se dejó caer y rompió los platos sobre la salchicha jurando tan poco profesional que obtuvimos un reembolso y nos fuimos de ahí! ¡Qué pobre experiencia negativa necesita desesperadamente algo de gestión y una lección de servicio al cliente! Nunca volveré

I will continue to visit Bucke in BOD as I love carvery and countryside athmosphere, but every time I am there I wish that my beef would be softer and not that dry as last time. That is always challenging rindg of fortune. If so, then that would be one star extra to my review. 😅👌

We celebrated our 6th daughter’s birthday party with friends and we all had a good time. Marjory looked very well after us before and during the pizza party that was organised. Will return gladly!

OK, so it is what it is, a chain carvery pub restaurant. But it's the best experience of one of those I've had; staff are friendly, attentive and make an effort to actually be nice (other similar places that's often too much effort) and the carvery is actually pretty good for stuff that has to live under a heat lamp to provide an accessible variety. So if you understand what they do here, you definitely won't be disappointed as they seem very good at it. Great value.

Had the carvery this time around - veg was lovely so had loads of it ..... but (always a but) I got such a tiny strip of Turkey and I mean strip, that my mate laughed when I showed him lol. Anyways apart from the tiny turkey portions it was a great place. I'm going to stick to something off the menu like the fish (excellent, tartare sauce is awesome) or maybe try the Chicken burgers. We had a bit of banter and a laugh with Marjory and she was very attentive at making sure everything was cleared and if we needed anything else. I do like the Buckie farm and the food is always good albeit, the issue with the Turkey portion this time around 😎. Plenty of other stuff to try though so I will defo be going back.

Not the world's greatest carvery but very good still. The meats were all well cooked and a decent selection of veg. Maybe a bit tight on the meat considering I got a large, not much difference between my other halfs which was a regular size. Would go back again.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a comer el viernes por la noche con nuestra hija, yerno y nieto bebé. Comimos del menú festivo. Mi marido y yo teníamos lPrawn Cocktail" como entrantes. Éste consistía en 3 - 4 gambas pequeñas, de aspecto blanco, un poco de lechuga flácida, un par de cucharadas de salsa insípida y media rebanada de pan blanco muy barato - a pesar de que el menú describía el pan como "pan de granja multigrano". Fue, francamente, terrible. La "Hamburguesa de Pila de Regalo de Pollo" de nuestra hija, descrita como dos pechugas de pollo fritas del sur rociadas con salsa de arándano y coronadas con un bocado de queso Mozzarella & Camembert y un cerdo enrollado a mano en manta, era en realidad un bollo de aspecto cansado con dos goujones de pollo muy quemados y un puñado de papas fritas empapadas. Me sentí muy decepcionado por ella. ¿Festivo? ¡No lo creo! Dudo que volvamos.

Absolutely shocking plenty vegetables but paper thin slice of beef ,turkey and gammon leaves a lot to be desired .will not be in a hurry going back there .

Friendly, helpful staff and decent carvery food. Like many carveries though, it suffers from having some of the food sitting out for too long - yorkies and stuffing were examples today. And although I actually find the place quite pleasant inside, the other half disagrees, and I can see her point that it can seem a bit soulless when not busy, and too noisy if busy with kids running around. I'd go back, but will have to persuade better half.

The stuffed crust option for the pizzas is worth every penny it's incredible 👌🏻 food was hot and fresh and the staff were kind and professional. The seating was real comfy anf atmosphere of the whole venue is warm and relaxing. Will be back for the Thursday pizza discount for sure 😄

Been many times and always get great service from Marjory and the rest of the staff. They're always friendly and attentive. Sometimes food can be a little overdone hence 4 stars.

Had a lovely carvery breakfast here on 10th October, service couldn’t have been better, sat on for a further two lattes, and chat with my sister and was no hurry to move either, warm and cosy. Girls in particular were marjory and I think Michelle . Will be back again

Good meal but they forgot the roast potatoes

Mi hermana y yo fuimos a almorzar y no nos decepcionó. Teníamos los nachos y las tiras de pollo que eran increíbles! Las tiras de pollo eran muy crujientes y frescas. Luego tuvimos la pizza de filete de queso filosofal y fue mi favorita de todas. La salsa de queso nachos en la parte superior es muy buena y la corteza era crujiente y delgada. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente ya que el personal era muy amable y el servicio era bueno. No esperamos mucho tiempo para nuestra comida y en general increíble!

Veo un montón de críticas negativas aquí, que es una pena y no indicativo de mi visita. No planeado Acabo de llegar al pasar y tengo que decir que el desayuno era absolutamente lugar en. Todo parecía precioso con una gran selección, todo recién cocinado, todo caliente y muy delicioso. Me encantó y gran relación calidad-precio también. Personal muy servicial y educado. Definitivamente volveré. PS. No tengo ninguna conexión o afiliación con Buckie Farm... sólo un cliente bien satisfecho.

Tired surroundings and needs cash spent on improvements and entry area looks bad. However food is very good and staff are excellent. Try to see beyond the building as food and staff worth it.

Evil place and evil people. The business is going down so they are trying to make an extra buck on parking fees. Very sad.
