Recently visited the Music Hall as one of our favourite bands Tidelines were playing 🌊 Always love visiting the Music Hall, the space is beautiful and staff are always friendly. Touch wood, have always had positive experiences at this venue. There’s a cafe bar available at the venue with local beer on tap which is great to see! Although I couldn’t see without my glasses on so possibly it wasn’t 🍻😂 Parking for Music Hall… speaking honestly, I hate driving in Aberdeen with the restrictions imposed on us by Aberdeen City Council (and the fear of fines!), but this shouldn’t be held against the Music Hall in this review... I opted to park in Denburn car park, and walked to the Music Hall solo to meet my friends. I’m sure there were closer parking spots like Golden Square, but in case it was full I opted for Denburn. Turned out there was space in Golden Square, so consider this as an option too. Have been to a wide array of events at the Music Hall, and every one has been a hit! Will be more proactive booking in 2025 to keep supporting local artists/musicians.

I love going to the Music Hall. This visit was to Marti Pellow so a packed house. Purchasing tickets as a wheelchair user can be massively challanging however when purchasing from Music Hall all done easily over the phone what a relief no trying to work online or a chat bot... Accessible Tickets are so limited in numbers it is hard enough so calling and speaking to a human a joy. On arrival wonderful pavement ramp smooth and clutter free and on entry someone available to help with the awesome stair lift. I am so impressed with the next part. I have a small rucksack that I carry emergency medication both tablets, injections and nebuliser and always highlight to staff what I carry. The lady asked could she check my bag absolutely no problem inside is another bag with injections and I was asked could it be opened and checked again absolutely. I attend so many events and watch poor bag checks and for myself so often as soon as I say what I carry my bag tagged and waved through without being checked that is not effective or safe practice. The lady did a excellent bag search and wow I was impressed. On entering thought I would nip to bathroom and was given directions however on heading to lift another lady directed me to one thro the main hall and then directed to seats. It was so smoothly done I was spoken to.... so often as person in wheelchair I am ignored and person I am with spoken to it felt lovely to be included. Marti Pellow wow what a night and crowd also in good form. At end was asked where we were parked as it was pelting rain and advised if I did not mind going past bins a sloped area would take me out nearer my car which was much appreciated. From first call to get tickets to leaving exceptional service. I know Music Hall, Tivoli and HMT all linked and the training/customer care in these venues excellent. I feel safe, well looked after and always have a fantastic time. I do have one negative comment and it is the same one at each event and this for folk attending venue.... Please pick up your own rubbish and put it in bags on leaving or heck you can even take it home and dispose of....I am sure the majority do not in their own homes have a bag of sweets, crisps or juice and dump on floor. It takes seconds to clear your own rubbish we have beautiful venues, lovely staff but the just dumping of rubbish is so disrespectful so come on let's all do our little bit.

Great venue. No matter if standing or seating for gigs it's really good. Have been going for years. Toilets and bar/seating area are much improved since refurb The only thing that lets it down is after spending millions on it's upgrade, within no time at all the roof in the main hall has netting in multiple places that's been there since a short time after the refurb, presumably as there's issues with the work done, and in the main hall the wall plaster is already parting from the main wall from floor to ceiling in multiple places. Roofs also peeling in places. Makes it look like it needs a refurb already which is a shame. Really needs a cloakroom when gigs and events are on. For size of building and the fact they did before is strange. There is a coat hanger in the middle of the hall but that's a leave at your own risk thing.

Lovely sized hall for concerts, clean and organized really well. Easy to get checked in. Husband said the bar was well stocked with a good variety for everyone. The interval in the concert hall had girls selling ice cream ect. You have to go back to the bar if you want alcohol or juice, which was very busy my husband just made it back before the second half started. Our concert was seated with not much room to move about, if you get up to the toilet ect everyone has to get up in your row. Overall I really enjoyed my first time here and would definitely be back.

Good acoustics, spacious, the bathrooms are always clean, even at massive events, however, the lighting and sounds of drying ourselves may be very invasive. It is worth checking them out for hypersensitive people. On the positive side, the bathrooms, even with long lines, tend to fill up quickly due to the supply. They sell drinks inside. And at most events also ice cream. They have significantly increased the number of cultural offerings and shows on the billboard.

I visited here for the Beluga Lagoon gig and what a fantastic venue. Beautiful looking from the outside it's an absolutely remarkable looking building. However as we queued to enter a few people decided they were not happy with the size of the queue and went to the other side and started a separate smaller queue. Surely a barrier to say queue from one side would be the best thing. Once inside we were really impressed with the acoustics, and the size of the hall. The toilets were well looked after. One issue though was the bar, definitely not enough staff on as queues were massive. A brilliant venue, and with some tweaks could definitely be a 5 star place.

We were looking for some Christmas Cocktails and something different for a wee girly Christmas catch up in Aberdeen. We were keen to support somewhere independent and not fall into the usual chain restaurants within the city. Good old google turned up with The Lounge Bar & Kitchen and I’m pleased to say we were not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome. The cocktails hit the spot and went down a treat. We could have had 3 course Christmas menu with tea/coffee tablet and shortbread however we opted for the Scottish Tapas/Small Plates option. There were 3 of us and we shared 8 plates in total. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. We were well and truly stuffed with no room left to try the Sweet options so will have to have a return visit. On our visit a couple of the Vegetarian options were unavailable however as none of us were vegetarian this did not affect us. We’ll definitely be returning in the future.
