También tenía rollos de primavera, ya que la entrega mínima para el pedido era de £ 10. Los habían metido en un recipiente de plástico, así que cuando los recibí estaban empapados... Me las arreglé para comer dos, pero metí los dos restantes... No volvería a pedir! costó £ 16 + con entrega

Easy to miss from the outside, which is a shame as this place is a real gem inside. When you walk into the restaurant, you will be transported visually and gastronomically .. you'll know when you get there! The food is incredible, packed full of flavour and absolutely delicious. Huge selection of dishes to choose from and very reasonably priced. Staff are lovely. Veg/GL options available.

Amazing, authentic Thai food (there are also some other South East Asian dishes on the menu), managed by Thais. Service was attentive, friendly, casual.

Great Thai in Aberdeen- so good we went there twice in a two night stay in the city. Some of the best Thai food I've had- even better, just mention any dietary requirements and most dishes can be adapted, which can be tricky in a lot of Thai restaurants. Had a tofu green curry with jasmine rice on one visit and a tofu penang on the next- both delicious and fish sauce free. Don't miss out on this restaurant!

Brilliant Thai restaurant with superb friendly service. I've eaten here twice and the food is great. If you have dietary requirements or are vegan/vegetarian this is the ideal Thai restaurant for you- just mention it to the owner/staff and they can leave out fish/oyster sauce in most dishes. Had a tofu green curry on one trip and a tofu Penang on the next visit- both excellent . Can't recommend enough!

I sought this restaurant out; having looked at the menu online it seemed that they were happy to adapt for vegans/vegetarians (often a difficulty with Thai food's use of fish sauce). I was not disappointed; ordered a Tofu Penang curry with Jasmine rice- it was absolutely delicious, some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Sakson (hope I am spelling this correctly), the owner/manager, was super friendly (as was the other member of staff that we met) and catered for our 'fish sauce-free' requirements. This restaurant is definitely the place to go for superb vegan or vegetarian Thai food. Slightly away from the town centre, but well worth the small walk extra, and very reasonably priced.

Amazing traditional Thai food and excellent service in this wee family run restaurant. Great portion sizes and very friendly for vegans/veggie/dairy free ect. Remember to look out for it as it is upstairs!

I ordered take away pad Thai which I've had before from this restaurant. This time it was awful it only had 3 prawns in it and no other meat, it was syrupy sickly sweet swimming in oil and I will never order this dish from here again....I could only stomach a third efore I binned the rest yuk!

Honestly it’s one of the most refreshing dining experiences I’ve had in the last couple years, superb food, great setting, friendly and witty staff, sensibly priced, just book a table, you won’t be disappointed.

Always an excellent eating experience here, food is generously portioned, fresh, delicious and won't break the bank. Service is always excellent and the owner is always so friendly and welcoming. It's an honour to give them my custom!

Post gym, this place had good food, and service was fantastic as we were offered recommendations on what would go well with the dishes we ordered, so we were not completely persuaded by hunger. Very personal touch with their inquisitive nature and wanting to know their patrons, they offered little insights into what they knew about our culture which built rapport and led to humorous conversations. The unassuming entrance led to a very calming and spiritual atmosphere which accentuated this experience.

Excellent food. The true taste of Thailand and that coming from a married to a Thai. A hidden gem hidden upstairs.

Excellent food at a honest price. It is a family-run business that has been open for many years, I went several times and the quality of food has been consistently very high.

This is a little hidden gem, worth seeking out. The entrance is somewhat hidden on Rose Street. It's overshadowed sign wise by the Shahbaaz on it's left and Marmaris on it's right. Look out for a beautiful Buddha statue in the entrance then follow the golden staircase to a special little piece of Thailand. First of all we were met by a charming hostess who showed us to our table. The table was dressed in a pretty Thai print tablecloth, real flowers and a flickering candle. We had Spicy beef salad which we shared as a starter. It was so tasty with just the right amount of heat and cooked medium rare to perfection. I chose a Thai green veggie currie and the other half chose charcoal grilled sea bass; both dishes were so flavourful, with all the herbs and spices you would expect in an authentic Thai restaurant. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. It's not break the bank and they do not include service charge like so many other restaurants do now. In our opinion the BHAN THAI is back to being the best littleThai place in town, and we've eaten at them all!

I was in Aberdeen for business and felt like Thai for dinner. I Googled for suggestions and Bhan Thai was close tp both my office and hotel. I had no particular expectations but what a hidden gem this little family owned and run restaurant is! My meal was simply superb, and I shall cerainly return at the first available opportunity. If I were an Aberdonian I would certainly be a regular. So, if you live, or are spending time in, Aberdeen be sure to visit Bhan Thai; you shan't be disappointed.

NEVER coming back again. We reserved a table by phone for 5pm,when we came, restaurant still closed because opening time is 5.30pm Ordered a starter sea food palate for 2 persons £19.00 and 2 small beers 330ml. When we saw what is in a starter, we cancelled main course, paid £26.60 and ran away from here to other Thai restaurant

A hidden gem in Aberdeen. I visited for lunch on Saturday and was upset to see how quiet it was. It’s so important to support local businesses. Bhan Thai offers fantastic authentic Thai food in the centre of Aberdeen. I was given a complimentary basket of prawn crackers to start whilst scanning the menu. I ordered Tom Yum soup which arrived at the table promptly. It was packed with flavour and there was plenty of chicken! I also had the the Chicken with Cashew Nuts. This dish was served with rice. The chicken was coated in a light batter which was lovely and crispy. The portion was a decent size and the rice came at no extra cost. The sauce was mild but tangy. Everything was so tasty. I was so full I struggled to finish it all, which is a really good sign. I couldn’t reccomend Bhan Thai enough. I will return soon for dinner. I want to try the Thai papaya salad. Thank you to the server who was really lovely and made the meal enjoyable!

We had a fantastic evening here on a Sunday evening. Only 1 star off for ambience as we were the only group in which is surprising as the food was delicious and the staff very pleasant. Four of us all enjoyed our meal and the mixed sharing platter was a hit with everyone. Reasonable prices too. Such a shame it was so quiet - hope more people support this authentic Thai restaurant.

With the two of us to Bhan Thai on a Saturday evening. We had a platter of starters between the two of us followed by a massaman curry and a laksa. Nice atmosphere, great food and definitely one of the better of not the best Thai restaurants in Aberdeen.

Every time we visit Aberdeen we eat here. Family run, food is excellent & service lovely. Can't wait to return!!

Revisited Bhan Thai after quite a while, we were going to the other Thai restaurants instead. I can categorically say the food in bhan thai is much, much better than all the others. Where others’ starter platters give the impression their items are bought in, there’s no doubt Bhan Thai’s are made there. Deep and succulent prawn toast, amazing ribs, superb chicken skewers. Their Thai fish cakes are as good as it gets too. The main courses were excellent, massaman curry and jungle curry being highlights. Beef salad to die for. The wine list is limited, with only two choices of red, but the prices are very reasonable at £19 for either choice. I checked online and the Merlot is £11.99 to buy, so £19 in the restaurant is very fair and it was a lovely wine. It’s not a trendy or fancy place, but we’ll default back to here and forget the others from now on.

The new owner has made this the best Thai in Aberdeen, not just the food but the experience also makes it so. Food is fantastic, and the service/experience is even better. Very memorable night as staff were so friendly/polite and meal was great. You really get a family business feel when you are there and they really care about their customer. Highly recommend.

Lovely Thai food with really friendly family run staff.

I was ordering and picking up the food in the restaurant. I ordered papaya salad and green chicken curry with rice. Three boxes were handed out 10 minutes later. I went back to the hotel and opened the boxes. Surprise: Two Tofu curries and rice. Even if not ordered, the food was really nice! I hope that the dudes which ordered the tofu were not vegetarian, so they could enjoy the green chicken curry!

I always suggest Bhan Thai when I am asked to choose somewhere to meet friends for a catch up. The food is excellent and authentic and feel like a regular.

Chose to come for last minute dinner plans. Nice atmosphere inside. Great service, our lovely server was quick and helpful (and managing some demanding tourists like a champ). Food was absolutely excellent, really impressed. Good portions and enough to take home. Will be back here for sure!

Food is very nice. Service is a disgrace. Had to obtain our cutlery as the waitress forgot to bring it. After the main meal sat for half an hour waiting for anyone to pay any attention to us hoping to get a desert and another drink. But too busy discussing family business. And it’s not like the restaurant was full. Very unpleasant aftertaste after a nice tasting meal. Not coming back

Have just ordered a take away from Just Eat. Food took 1.5hour and when it arrived it came without my my panang curry or rice. This means I have nothing at all for my dinner. I have been trying to call the restaurant for over 15mins and have had no answer. I won't be going here again and I advise others not to go either. Long wait for a empty tummy!

Best Thai in Aberdeen! We use Bhan Thai often for takeaway but 12 of us had a sit down meal on the weekend and the food was even better. Great service and such lovely staff. Well worth a visit.

Love this hidden gem in Aberdeen. Always had delicious food, large portions and attentive service. Independent restaurants are becoming more hard to find in Aberdeen so I am really glad we stumbled across Bhan Thai. Would recommend the laksa.

My food was cold and not up to its usual standard

The delivery service is terrible, I got no update for my order and the landline is always busy which had made me impossible to contact the restaurant, more than that, my food is cold already when I got it and received no apology from driver at all!

Amazing service and the food was just as equally as brilliant. One of the best places in Aberdeen for authentic Thai food and the owners are just a delight. They also do takeaway and if you want to visit at the weekend it’s worth booking as it gets busy very quickly. Fabulous dining experience.

I've ordered from Bhan Thai before, always the same dish, because I really liked it the first time. This time, however, the food was nothing like before. It didnt have its usual fragrance and all you could taste was heat. My partners was the same. No flavour. He still managed to eat his, but mine was so hot, it was just inedible. Absolute waste. So disapointed. Wont order from them again.

We went to Baan Thai for a special family meal to celebrate my Mum’s retirement. We chose the mixed platter starter and when it arrived at the table after quite some time, we all got stuck into it.

We had a first class Thai meal at the Bhan Thai restaurant. The restaurant entrance is innocuous enough on Rose Street, but the 1st floor located dining room belied our first impressions. The meal was excellent.

Tasty, authentic food in lovely setting! With some dishes, like the Pad Thai dish they sadly add too much sugar making it way too sweet. I usually really enjoy my food there though.

This busy little restaurant is upstairs, we walked passed it the first time we walked down the street. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly, even though they are rushed off their feet keeping everyone happy. There is a wide selection of food all of which is extremely well presented. The prices are reasonable too. Worth a visit.

Excellent good and fantastic servive

We had reserved a table for 7pm and had just finished our main course when we were furnished with the bill and told that as they were really busy we would need to vacate the table. We were not told when booking, or on arrival that we could only have the table for 45mins! We were half way through drinks and we had talked about ordering more but we’re not given the chance

I have to say I was not expecting too much but that impression was demolished very quickly. Having dined in all manner of places in Thailand, the Ban Thai, Aberdeen was authentic and the staff very attentive. I was blessed to be surrounded by many Thai ladies and while the conversation was almost +9 on the Richter scale, once the delicious food arrived it was everyone for themselves - grab a bit, share a bit, load up with rice/noodles, your plate is never empty. This is the Thai way! Forget about your starters, main and dessert courses.....get a life and go eat Thai tradtional way. Big fish in the middle of the table......get going.....eat or starve.

I have been here many times over the years and the food has been absolutely perfect every time.

I would like to thank the Management and Staff of this fantastic restaurant for the service and food they supplied for my wife’s 70th Birthday Party which my daughter had arrange with them. We had 24 covers with varied tastes and all were very satisfied with the selection and quality of food. Throughout the evening nothing was too much trouble and they were so attentive and made us feel special.

Nice place food was authentic and good, we had the banquet which was a lot of food prawns were especially good although the beef was a little tough, the servers were really good maybe a bit to busy.
