What an absolute stunning place! We arrived as soon as the doors opened on the day of the Weymouth Iron Man 15/09 and bagged the first table closest to the road so we could cheer on my sister's partner. The service was excellent and we had more frozen cocktails than the place could handle! My sister and I terrorized the harbour with our megaphone for the runners and enticed more and more diners in with our loud mouths! The bacon, brie and cranberry toastie was absolutely wonderful and came with a plethora of sides including crisps, coleslaw and a dressed salad on a wonderfully plated board! The cocktails were to DIE for which a lot of other people had succumbed to on our visit (with thanks to the megaphone). Overall, the best place to eat, best service and THE BEST PART, it is independently run! What a rarity, must try if in weymouth!
We have visited the bar here on a number of occasions and always made to feel very welcome by the owners. Lovely comfortable environment which is always clean and well maintained with a well stocked bar at reasonable prices

We parked up for the night in our motorhome. Free parking we just needed to spend some money in the pub! Friendly, helpful staff, great menu and reasonably priced. Highly recommend

We've been here for Sunday lunch twice, the first time it was excellent and worthy of a five star review. The chicken was succulent, the vegetables were fresh, we both had three courses and couldn't fault anything. The surroundings are lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. We were very excited to come back, which we did a couple of weeks later - driving for two hours to get there. Unfortunately, it was almost unrecognisable. I suspect the food had been dished up early and left somewhere warm. The chicken was dry and everything was salty. The staff were very friendly, but the meal was really disappointing. We will give it another go, in the hope that last time was an anomaly, and because it was so good first time. But if the next one is the same as the previous one we won't be back.
No kids menu but they split the adult pizza for our boys to share. Pizzas and garlic bread were absolutely amazing, just perfect. Pasta great too. Tirimasu a little dry but other desserts lovely. Very friendly staff. Would go back.
Although we did not have a booking, the owners managed to accommodate us even though it was busy. People providing negative comments about this restaurant must be on a different planet! The food and service were faultless. The portions were generous and freshly prepared and cooked. The pesto pasta with pine nuts and garlic was fantastic, as was the Napoli. The homemade desserts were amazing - we had the tiramisu and the lemon tart. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in Moffat. Probably best to book!
Good food and great staff.
Small cafe on main road through town. The menu is varied and adequate for those visiting.
Food is well presented and service excellant.
Wonderful little cafe, the breakfast was amazing. The haggis and lorne being standouts. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating.
Looking forward to visiting again next time I’m in Moffat.
Waitress not very helpful regarding deluxe milkshake flavours, failed to mention all the different types(oreo, biscoff etc) we saw later when paying at the counter. Traybake dry, tasteless and awful cheap chocolate topping. £3.70 for a very small hot chocolate.
